I need a Windows-executable widget that.....

...toggles the users’s Adobe Acrobat program preferences\Internet\Web Browser Options “Display PDF in browser” check box ON or OFF from OUTSIDE of Acrobat...(or, at least, brings up that window, so the user can check/uncheck the box.)
Rationale: in a Sharepoint browser based document management system, people can't work with PDFs as editable files if their Acrobat preferences are set to “Display PDF in browser”. That setting, which is only meant to enable dumbed-down, browser-based PDF viewing, is ON by default in Acrobat Preferences, which prevents a knowledge worker from editing a PDF in Sharepoint..when they open a PDF they only get to view it in their browser with Acrobat Reader...they can't add/insert/rotate/delete pages, touch up text, etc. because with this setting checked, when they open a pdf, they are just viewing it in Reader.
But workgroups who make heavy use of PDFs in Sharepoint need the ability to edit PDFs, not just view them. Such a widget could be placed as an executable file in an easy to find location to make it a snap for workers to toggle it on/off.
A more distant goal would be to have Adobe provide a setting in Acrobat that somehow automatically turns this OFF if a user is trying to open a PDF from within Sharepoint. It would enhance Acrobat's compatibility with Sharepoint, which would seem to be a good marketing strategy for Adobe.

Need to find sql/users that is parsing but NEVER executing

hello all,
I have been trying to figure out how to find sql or user who are pharse sql but not executing them. thats becoz my execute to prase % in my AWR report is negative. meaning someone is parsing statements and NEVER executing them. They are just chewing up your CPU, latching the shared pool, killing your performance.
which is not a good thing and i want to find out what user is doing that or what SID or what sql is diong whats its doing. How can i find that out. Any querys out there to do that or ?? THANKS

true i can use that, I am getting about 8 rows out of it and there are about 100+ connections as of now. But here is the thing. As the app use only one schema(lets call it scott). Everybody login thru that schema (scott/tiger)...so that 87 rows that i am getting..all of them are parsing_schema_name=scott and parsing_user_id=55 ..........but i need those 8 users SID...so i can pin point...hey u are the one who is just prasing and not executing...if you know what i mean...so i need that SID...i got the parsing_schema_name and parsing_user_id...but need the SID...so how can i get that ???

You shouldn't have to deactivate it if it's the same computer. Remove photoshop as best you can using Windows Uninstall. Then reinstall a new copy from here:

Make sure you select the same version that you had before (extended or not, same OS, etc). It shouldn't be an issue if it's the same computer.

If you want to raise your web design skill level above that of the average iWeb user, you can try creating your own. The actual form layout is fairly easy if you use CSS to style it since the amount of HTML is minimal now that table layouts are a thing of the past.

Do a clean (re)install:
* Download a fresh Firefox copy from http://www.mozilla.com/firefox/all.html and save the file to the desktop.
* Uninstall your current Firefox version and remove the Firefox program folder before installing that copy of the Firefox installer.
* Don't remove personal data when uninstalling.
* It is important to delete the Firefox program folder to remove all the files and make sure that there are no problems with files that were leftover after uninstalling.
You can initially skip the step to create a new profile, that may not necessary for this issue.

I am going to order Windows 2012 with 16 CAL in order to downgrade it to Windows 2008 Standard SP2 64bit. My question is:

Any licensing questions are always best addressed by a trained Microsoft licensing specialist. You can find whom to call by looking at www.microsoft.com/licensing.
One of the built-in rights of a Windows Server license is the right to run earlier versions of the operating system. So if you purchase either Standard or Datacenter, you can run 2008 Standard.
However, that does not provide the media or activation codes for earlier versions of the operating sytem. You have to obtain those via other channels. You should most likely contact a Microsoft reseller and talk to them. They will
most likely have a trained licensing specialist on hand to help answer your questions, and they should also be able to provide media for earlier distributions (for a slight fee).

I testet different widgets f.e. from musegrid - but they cannot handle two different picture, like the "classic" Lightbox from lokesh/lightbox2 · GitHub...

You can get close to this effect using the built-in slideshow widget.
Set the options for Full Screen and Lightbox.
Temporarily make the thumbnails large and square.
Select all the thumbnails and select Object > Fitting > Fit Content Proportionally.
Limitations with this approach include:
You can't stroke or round the corners of the thumbnails (assuming they have mixed aspect ratio) since the stroke or rounding will appear on the square frame the thumbnail is fit within, rather than on the image itself.
You can't crop the thumbnail differently than the hero image. Again because the frame is large and square and the image is fit within (in order to enable thumbnails with different aspect ratios).
I'm not aware of any third party Muse widgets that would get any closer to the exact effect you're looking to achieve.

Invoking a call to a window executable fails when request output to file

Hi,
When invoking a call to a window executable it fails(returns 1 instead of 0) when requesting output to file by using "> filename.txt". This nornally works when run directly within a
windows command prompt, and it also works if I don't add the "> filename.txt" at the end. Also instead of outputting to a file I would like the same called executable to output to a memory variable that I can extract data without going to a external text file.

Well, if you ultimately want the output from the process, you don't need to redirect it to a file first. Just read from the standard output of the process. See [url http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.5.0/docs/api/java/lang/Process.html#getInputStream()]Process.getInputStream and Process.getErrorStream. You'll need to read from both simultaneously so you'll need to create two threads. You could also use [url http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.5.0/docs/api/java/lang/ProcessBuilder.html]ProcessBuilder if you're using Java 1.5
