Or else you can only get this information if the query/ workbook is enabled for statistics logging in transaction RSDDSTAT.
If it is enabled you can goto table RSDDSTAT ( 3.5) or RSDDSTAT_OLAP( 7.0 ) to see the users who executed the query . These tables store all the information per query session and you will find more than one rows per session but you can find the information you want i.e. users executing a particular query.
Also Tcode: SU01 will give you all the user lists in the server.

What solutions are there for Adobe Cloud subscribers/designers who are using/have been using Adobe software but have run into system requirement inadequacies etc. . . Basically, I have a new mac and CS6 runs fine. But my old macbook can only run CS5.5. Because I'm a subscriber my Adobe CS5.5 updated automatically. What happens when one day a year or two from now (or sooner) my MAC won't support the latest version of my CS subscription? Is there a way for cloud subscribers to subscribe to a legacy or an older version of CS?

Its my understanding that previous versions will still be acessible for users going forward, I copied the following from the FAQ
I am a Creative Cloud member using the CS6 applications included in my membership. Will I lose access to CS6 when CS7 becomes available in Creative Cloud?
No, if you have downloaded and installed the CS6 versions of the applications, you will continue to have access to them without interruption as long as your membership remains active. When the CS7 versions become available, you will have up to a year to download and install them and they will run on your machine along with CS6 versions.

I am viewing your question from different perspective, that is, the issue that you face when you are ripping VOBs from a second DVD-VIDEO on DVD disc using Premiere Elements,
It is best to give the Premiere Elements version and computer operating system that it is running on. In the absence of that, I will generalize.
Assuming that you are using
Premiere Elements 12
Add Media
"DVD Camera or Computer Drive"
Video Importer
Typically the Video Importer Save In: is C:\Users\Owner\Videos
Each of your DVD discs is going to have the same names for the ripped VOBs (VTS_01_1.VOB and so on depending on the duration of the movie). Consequently, after the ripping of the first DVD's VOBs and their save to Videos, you will end up with that "files already existing..." block for the ripping of the VOBs from the second DVD.
The answer is, for each DVD disc VOB ripping, to plan ahead and create and set for different folders in Videos in the Save In field of the Video Importer.
Please review and then let us know if that works for you. Please do not hesitate to ask if you need clarification on anything that I have written.

The problem that I am having at work it that several people in our department want to be able to update a file, but we want to be sure that no one else is currently editing that file. If someone has the file open, it's helpful to know the user's name so we can talk about when the next person can edit the file. This works in Excel files that we use, and I would love to find out how to do it in Photoshop and Illustrator.

I am trying to understand how "Installing Adobe Acrobat on Citrix server" can affect users who are opening PDF files? Users who are trying to open PDF files are having problems opening it after I installed Adobe Acrobat 8.

I have not restarted the Citrix server. I installed it and executed the application and published it.
If restarting resolves it then it is good.
After I installed Adobe Acrobat 8 last night, this morning users who were accessing PDF files from our intranet are not able to access it I am trying to understand what kind of error that they are getting. So, far 2 users have complained that they are not able to open the PDF files.
One user's comment was this
I can't edit an application in Power Site Pro through Mortgagebot. Mortgagebot tech support told me it has to do with Adobe Flash Player.

There is not such a portlet available out of the box...
Have you looked at the code share section?
If you want to develop yourself, I don't think this is achievable using the IDK (remote interface)
But It is definitely possible to create such a portlet using the server API (drawback: the portlet has to live where a portal component is installed - WS, automation or Portal)

Who's using Oracle Text?

Hi all,
I've done some experimenting with Oracle Text, and it seems to
offer some handy stuff. I am a bit disappointed with the quality
of the INSO filtering technology, especially for PDFs. There are
also some items that seem, at best, extremely difficult, and at
worst, impossible. (Highlighting a matched search term found in
a PDF file comes to mind. It's not going to do my users a whole
lot of good to get a match to a search in a 200 page PDF file,
just to then have to go digging all the way through Acrobat
Reader to get to the actual content that matched...) My initial
impression is that this may be great if you just have a pile of
ASCII text files, but that using it for much more than that is
pushing it...
Anyway, I've done lots of digging through here and Metalink, and
have seen tons of weird kinds of problems. What I'm looking for
are some stories: Tell me how you used it to do something good.
Let me know what the problems were, and how you surmounted them
(or didn't). Basically, I'd like to get some personal
experiences from folks that I can use to make a determination
whether I should continue to investigate using this tool, or if I
should pursue a third-party solution (like Verity, etc.).
Advice from folks with specific experience doing
document/content/knowledge management with Oracle Text would be
appreciated as well.

You certainly bring up some interesting points.
Couple fo points from my side ...
1. I am affiliated with Oracle - I work in the Product team,
doing Product managementThanks for being up front about that. I only questioned Omar
about it simply because his "Author" identifier didn't show an
e-mail address -- yours does, so I could've figured it out.
2. You are quite correct that the point of these forums is to get
real customers to discuss real applications/problems/solutions.
This Text forum seems to be getting some input from customers,
though it's patchy.I assumed that was the case, but I've been a bit disappointed in
the results (not specifically about this thread, just in general
from reviewing various other forums too -- not that I've been
anywhere near exhaustive in my reading of all the forums.) In
retrospect, I should've just left the PDF filtering question out.
It changed the focus of this thread from "what cool stuff are
you doing with Oracle Text and how hard was it to do?" to "the
filtering sucks and can we fix it." I didn't mean for that to
happen, and got a bit too short with Omar as a result.
As usual, hindsight's 20/20.
I tend to come more from an "open source" (don't judge me for
that, I don't particularly care for that term -- I just use it
for lack of a current better term) perspective -- basically
fairly open discussions about projects with lots of sharing of
ideas and such. It seems from an outsider's perspective (I'm
very new to the Oracle world) that the current culture may not be
quite ready for that (see Oliver's post before yours above). We
seem to end up here less "talking about stuff" and more "help,
it's broken!" That's perfectly OK, but it seems like we already
have that in the Metalink forums (although I guess this area is
more public). I'd venture that this tendancy might disappear
over time, especially if discussions are fostered by Oracle (like
you're doing here -- thanks again!).
Will you be at Oracle OpenWorld in December ?
We are trying to set up a SIG within the Oracle User Group, as a
further incentive for customers to have these kinds of
discussions.Unfortunately, no. I'll be traveling most of the month of
December for the holidays. I really wish I was going now though,
it would be great to get in on that. I'll definately try to make
it next time.
3. Yes it is difficult to highlight within a PDF document. You
don't say which version you are using, but we recently (8.1.7)
switched to INSO for our PDF filter (before that we used INSO for
everything except PDF). The 9i PDF filter is much better : and
the 9.2 (not yet released, but a backport is available) is better
still.I'm using 8.1.7.2 -- I'll be moving to 9i soon (probably late
this year or first thing after the new year). I look forward to
seeing how the filters do in the new version.
When I've recently talked to other vendors that are managing to
do the PDF highlighting (Verity and Convera, for example) they've
indicated that there is a standard mechanism to specify word
highlighting when you launch or trigger the reader. I haven't
checked into it beyond that, but at least it's a thread of hope.
PDF is a difficult format to work with. It's intended to be a
"print format" or "final-form format", i.e. it was never intended
to be filtered/indexed/highlighted.Yeah, there are several problems with it. Unfortunately (or
fortunately, depending on your viewpoint) it's fairly ubiquitous,
so I'm stuck with it. I'd still rather have the documents in PDF
than something even more proprietary though. At least I can get
a reliable viewer for PDFs for my UNIX systems.
I've seen a number of
companies that claim to do PDF filtering and highlighting, but
I haven't yet seen anyone that makes a great job of it. We have
discussed this with Adobe : watch this space, hopefully we'll be
able to provide a better solution soon.That would be excellent. I personally have seen it work
adequately. It may not be perfect, but it's still handy. When
speaking with a Verity rep, they indicated something about the
reader accepting an XML stream of positioning data and then he
clammed up (this guy may just have been blowing smoke so take
that with as many grains of salt as you like).
Meanwhile I, like you, encourage other customers to speak up on
this forum - I'd certainly like to know more about people's
experiences and requirements in this area.Thank you for your encouragement. My responses here in no way
reflect any disatisfaction with Oracle products. I'm having a
good time using a solid database for a change. I just want to
insure I use it to its fullest, and that's why I'm here.
Oh, and if anybody wants the advice of an old-school UNIX geek,
I'll be around ;-)

No driver package needs to be installed when using this kernel.
The oracleasm-support and oracleasmlib packages still need to be installed from ULN+

Need to reference a cell using a variable or cell value.

I am trying to build a master sheet and then have sub sheets that detail the information from the master. My master sheet looks like this:
1 | 101 | Bob | Smith |
2 | 104 | Sally | Jones |
3 | 108 | Tim | Abbott |
Then on separate sheets I want a summary for each line like this:
1 | Name | Bob |
2 | ID | 101 |
Now, I know I could just build this by creating references to the master sheet, but in reality my sheets are far more complex and I really need to be able to reference them by line number. So I would like to have a hidden cell (say AA1) on each summary which designates the line and then reference Master:B{AA1}. I did this years ago on excel but have no idea how I did it or howo to do it in Numbers.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

Rearrange your table then add another table to find the result:
A2 in Table 1-1 will find the earliest date in Table 1 without having to sort Table 1.
A2 contains this formula
=MIN(Table 1::A)
B2 in Table 1-1 uses VLOOKUP to find which ID matches that MIN date.
The reason for rearranging your table (Table 1) is that VLOOKUP compares a search value to the values in the leftmost column of a specified collection.
(in this case, it looks in the leftmost column of the range Table1::A:B, then returns a match from column 2 of that range).
I forgot to include "Exact Match" in the VLOOKUP formula. Is that what you want, or "Close Match"?
Edit: I don't suppose that matters because MIN will always give an exact match. Duh!

Need help in creating Aria using Oracle APEX

Hi,
I am trying to develop an employee lookup using DBCON's PDF(http://www.dbcon.com/oracle_apex_ebook_aria.html).
I downloaded the Oracle XE, version 11.0.0.28844 and used the APEX from this. But, the files provided by DBCON seem to be old. I tried using the AriaTheme.sql file in the APEX, but, it errors out complaining that the file is not compatible.
As this did not work, I downloaded the APEX(apex_4.0.1) and am trying to proceed with this. This comes with a large package and it is not clear on how to install and where to start off to build ARIA.
Please help me out with the latest compatible theme or suggest the XE version that I need to download.

Anyone with PSe 11 or 12 issues on a Mac upgraded to Yosemite who are using an iMac

Are any Adobe Photoshop Elements 11 or 12 Mac users experiencing problems on a computer other than a Macbook Pro (e.g. an iMac or Mac Mini) that has been upgraded to Yosemite? I just upgraded and my PSE 12 freezes - I found a workaround by using a mouse instead of a trackpad. I'm just curious - is it a Macbook trackpad/PSE conflict or and Yosemite/PSE 11 or 12 conflict?

this obviously won't solve the problem - however in response to my contacting Adobe via the email address provided by on of the participants in this forum, I received the following email. It appears they have now provided an option to contact Adobe as a consumer -- however I haven't tested it out - it may very well take you to the same loop with you ending up with the option to pay for a support call. Perhaps some of you might like to test it out.
