I need help! i downloaded new music and plugged my iphone into my computer and after i did that i lost all my pictures and everything that i need!!! it restored my iphone back to setting from february of last year when i last had an iphone, HELP! PLEASE!
I need some help fast please!! i have had the iphone since august and have videos and pictures i need like 100% need, and today i downloaded music and plugged my phone into my computer. The phone synched and it did to the settings when the iphone 4 first came out last year, dating back to when i first had it on february 24th, 2011. I need to restore it back but everytime i try to do it through itunes it puts me back to the same settings, i hope someone knows how to fix this problem, i would greatly appreciate any help!!!!
Check here and see if you got an automatic backup when you pluuged into iTunes. (Fingers Crossed)

If the recent backup is there, simply restore your phone from that backup. It sounds to me that instead of syncing the phone just by connecting it to the computer, you may have restored the phone to your ancient backup. No problem if you have the newer backup, but a huge problem if you don't have the recent backup.
If, in fact, you did restore the phone instead of getting a backup thru the (automatic) sync process, I'd strongly suggest getting the difference between the two straight in your mind.
My other suggestion would be to understand that your iPhone is "managed" thru iTunes. You need to connect the two whenever possible instead of using the charger.

Did you get any error messages? What happens when you try to restore from backup? Error messages?
If music, the apps themselves and some other items were not in yur iTunes library when you did the update they will not be on the iPod after the update. This is because the apps themselves (app data is in the backup), music and some other items are not part of the backup and are synced to he iPod during a latter stage of the update. -
I downloaded the new version of itunes and when i plug my phone into the computer and try and do something in itunes it wont let me because my device is synced to another itunes library. how do i get my old itunes back? or how can i sync my stuff into the new itunes with out deleting anything off my phone? Copy the iTunes folder from the old computer to your new one.

Omg:( kill me then. I store my photos in my laptop. But i reset my aunt's phone, and she doesnt have anything: no apple id, no icloud. Normally when i reset mine, my phone back up everything.

The same thing happened with me. I was updating my husband's iPhone 3GS to iOS 5, and it lost his calendars and contacts. When I did the update, I let it do a sync and backup first.
Since that time, I tried to do a restore, and it only saw a back up from October, 2010. Where are backups stored? Are they invisible files on the mac? His laptop is a 13" macbook running 10.6.8. -
I was downloading new music and my downloads were going fine but now there are 12 left and 3 just say processing and won't move any further. I was going to connect to my computer but my computer is being fixed at the moment.
Any tips or tricks on how to get my downloads to continue?Had the same problem. I just rebooted my iPhone. I also canceled the remaining downloads and download them again one by one.
Don't worry if you can't download them though. You've bought them and you can download them again via iCloud.
I was so angry that the songs weren't being downloaded that I instead download additional songs thru my iPod Touch 2nd generations. After that, I checked itunes in my Iphone and saw those purchases and the others that couldn't be downloaded. I downloaded them again there. Also, the downloaded songs can be reach via itunes on your computer. Trying borrowing someone else computer.
If they have a computer and it's own iTunes, create a new iTunes that's seperate from theirs via holding on the SHIFT button and click on iTunes. It will ask if you want to create a new one. Do it, but make sure it's located on the desktop so you can delete any of your iTunes information and stuff when you're done. Also, remember to deactivate the connection from your itunes account to that computer. -
Okay....someone please tell me why I keep losing my prior music downloads when ever I download new music? For saving space on my computer I always remove the music I download to Itunes is this why? Is it possible to save what I have downloaded on my IPod when I download new music?
When the iPod is set to sync automatically, music that isn't in iTunes will be deleted from it when it is plugged in. You can turn this off by setting the iPod to sync manually.

Okay i had to install Itunes onto my new OS because window's Vista messed up on me and i can't get any of my old purchases back from my account such as music and movies any ideas on how to get them back (i do not have the folder that contains old items from the last itunes or anything from that OS because it had a virus and i just wanted windows 7)

I'm trying to download sheet music and need to run sibelius scorch add-on in 32 bit model. I have a mac running lion and the latest safari. I have downloaded FireFox 6 and run it in 32 bit but still I can't see the music score to print. Can anyone help?

There are no files like that in that folder (com.apple.safari). They all have long numbers with .jpeg or .png at the end. That's what I meant by I cannot find any files like those mentioned in all the helps I read today. BTW-it's still crashing - no particular pattern to it at all.
The only two things I have downloaded recently is a new version of Flash and a Mac-driven update to Office.

Albums is a way or sorting photos. Photos aren't moved from the Camera roll. The Camera Roll consists of all the photos on the phone. If you delete from Camera Roll they are deleted everywhere but Photo Stream.
Are you using Photo Stream? Your photos, providing they wer recent should still be in Photo Stream. If you have Photo Stream set up on your computer they should all be there. -

Buy the songs that your friend put on the iPod that you liked. They had no right to give you the copyrighted music when they sold you the device.

I have an iphone 4s and recently purchased a 5 for my wife. When I plug her phone into our computer I'm asked if I want to set up as a new phone or back up. I'm not sure what to do her phone is already set up with an icloud account. Can I sync her phone with the player that I have installed and transfer content to her phone or will my phone be removed from the player?
Set up as new, since it newer has been connected to iTunes. Your iPhone will remain on iTunes. I have 4 different devices on my iTunes with no problems.
And regarding the sync - it will sync whatever you tell it to sync on iTunes. -
i connected my iphone 5 to my computer for the first time since i got it and it didnt give me any option and just started to restore it from my iphone 4s. ive now lost all my pictures that were on it. Is there a way i can get them back as i did not want it to restore my old phone anyway! i also had my hone set up to the cloud and it didnt work! PLEASE SOMEONE HELP ME
Can you try to use another computer?
If this does not work, visit an Apple Store or an Authorized Apple Service Provider next to your place, and show them the phone, maybe they can restore it before you'll have to get it serviced.
Did you try to put it in recovery mode?
