Why it returns ERROR after I changed some Standard Reports output to XML?
Our EBS is a 11.5.10 CU2 instance.
We just upgrated the XML Publisher to 5.6.1 and did all the work described in section "Post-install Steps" of "About Oracle XML Publisher 5.6.1"(Doc ID: Note:357308.1)
Now we are do the testing.
I changed the Standard Report "Journals - General (132 Char)" output type to XML, then ran it.
It returns ERROR

The log file says that the RDF report actually errored out
and its not a problem in XML Publisher.
REP-1401: 'beforereport': Fatal PL/SQL error occurred.
ORA-06502: PL/SQL: numeric or value error
what you can do to debug is change the output type to text and run the report.
See, if the report runs successfully. I guess, there might be some problem with the report itself.
If the text report runs fine, change the output type to xml and run it.

Standard Report Headings, JAVA script usage,and Report field fixed width
My company has purchased Crystal Reports 2008 and I'm in the process of determining if the product will do everything we need and not become a maintenance nitemare.
We would like to setup some standard report headings to be used in all reports. I've setup on already as a SUBREPORT and it works fine. We pass optional parameters that may be blank.
We have several questions:
1) Subreport...Once a SUBREPORT is setup as a standard heading and included in multiple reports, we are concerned about what is required if the standard heading subreport changes. Will each report that uses this need to be opened or handled in any way to pickup the subreport changes? Any suggestions how to handle this?
2) Subreport....In order to get the "PAGE N of M" to work in the subreport we've setup the subreport to accept parameters that are passed from the main report and this works fine. But this requires every report using the standard heading to setup the parameters in order to work. Is there any other way that would minimize the setup needed for a standard heading?
3) JAVA... Can we call a Javascript function? If so, any hints/tips on how/where to do this?
4) Standard Report... Creating the report is difficult with guessing the width to define to the field. Is there a way that the report can know and display the exact size of the field being used? A fixed field defininiton of some sort would make it MUCH easier in the layout of the report.
5) Standard Report...We are currently testing with a stored procedure for the SQL query result data but because of the application we will need to build the query dynamically for every report. Is there a way to bind the data and specify the field lengths?
6) Standard Report...When using a defined file structure I needed to add another field. At the time it seemed like I had to start from scratch as the fields that were on the report were now gone. Is there a update method that can be done import the changes and not loose existing fields on a report?
That all for now. Sorry there are so many questions. We are trying to clear up as many issues as we can before starting the 100+ reports needed.

I see the Re-Import subreport option....and I guess I can only assume that this means that any change to a report heading file (subreport) must be manually re-imported into every report it is used in. There are no behind the scenes files or table that maintain a usage of these reports and can automate the population of the changes.
I was hoping that maybe the subreports would be accessed when called for an pickup any new changes. So if I create 100 reports with standard heading subreport, I would need to manually open and re-import that file in each report to update a report heading change.
Does not sound real fun.
Is all this true?

H99CWTR0 Wage Type Reporter. Returns pay for particular wage types. To submit from new report you will need to create copy and export value to memory.
RHGRENZ0 Delimit IT1000 and related 1001s. Program will delete any 1001 infotypes whose start date is after the delimit date.
RHGRENZ1 Extend the end date on delimited records. Very useful when you delimit a bunch of records incorrectly, and need to change the end date.

Standard reporting and installed languages
Do we need to install extra languages on the SAP system if, for legal requirements, some standard reporting has to be done in the local language OR is the language installation only required for the SAP UI?
Unicode just means that your SAP can understand and work with the greek characters.
If it is really only the material description in GReek language, then you do not neccessarily have to have the Greek language installed. Then you only need the description maintained in the material master, and you take care in print program and form to get the greek material description printed, while the communication language is still different from Greek language.
If you want print the entire documents in Greek language, then you have to install the language, otherwise you cannot have the SAP terms in Greek. Of course you have to translate your own customizing (e.g. shipping conditions, payment terms) as well to Greek. -

Reading values from standard report in custom report dynamically
Hello Gurus,
I have a strange requirement, We have some standard reports which displays output in drop down blocked data. I want to create a custom report which will get that data in my internal tables.
Just to elaborate this requirement, I will give you a example:
I have a standard report which output as first line 'A' and second line as 'B'. Now when I press drop down in 'A', it displays line items say 1,2,3,4,5.... Similarly block 'B' once when pressed displays line items 6,7,8,9,10.
Here I want a custom report which directly read data from this standard report and gives us the values of line items 1,2,3,4,5 in one internal table and similarly items 6,7,8,9,10 in another internal table.
Hope the question clarifies the requirement now.

Please search before asking, even in your menu structure.
There are binocluar icons in your SAP Easy access screen to search in the menu.
Or enter SEARCH_SAP_MENU in the ok-field and search for transactions. -

You can also make use of ME2M,ME2N,(Selection parameter as WE101 again) ME2J etc here you can make use of Still to be delivered (Quantity and Value) fields in the report also you can make use of Purchase Order History column in the report.
