I need the "old" FCPX for my Mac book

Where can I download the "old" fcpX, I bought one two years ago and use it on my I Mac.
Now I want to use it on my Mcc book pro (an old one, MAC OS X 10.6.8 8GB Ram) if I travel

Not trying to police anything, but if you have a legitimate, licensed version of Final Cut Studio on your iMac, it was installed from a set of disks _ not a download.
That license allowed users to install on one desktop and one laptop, So those same disks should be used to install the apps, including the "old FCP" on your MBP.
I don't recommend copying the apps. It will probably work fine most of the time but far too often, problems arise down the line that would be avoided by a "clean install" of the apps; then – very importantly –successively running Software Update until there are no more updates.

System Preferences> Network> Ethernet>.........
Highlight the Ethernet option and click the gear icon at the bottom of the panel. There should be an option to, Make service inactive.....

Turned out the hardware was bad. Apple exchanged it for a new Mac Air and the new trackpad works great. Thank goodness it was a defect. If the trackpads all worked like that I would have been bummed.

What does McAfee sell? AV software so of course they are going to attempt to sell it to you. Their only interest is getting your money and nothing more then that. That web site is a total crock.

The latest version iOS 6 does not run on the original iPad. That's why you cannot download it.

Why can't I change the font size on the menu bars for my mac book air?

The text is just too small sometimes. Are there any third party apps that can help with this, apparently apple is under the impression everyone has perfect vision? Is this some crazy request? As per michelepost comments earlier, neither the "Show Fonts" function allows title values to be changed, nor if the iMove Font Panel displayed?

Whilst on the theme, why when changing photo image durations, the value in time entered does not relate to the image(s) selected? I enter 1.8seconds, and 0.9 is displayed against the selected image.......

What do I need to do?

Boot your Mac from the System Install DVD that came with it, and erase the HD using Disk Utility. Then, reinstall the OS from the disc. Give the disc to your kids since it must always accompany the Mac it came with.
After the OS installation is complete and the Mac restarts to begin its new owner setup procedure, just shut down the Mac. Your kids can take it from there.
If you purchased Lion or Mountain Lion from the App Store, you cannot transfer it. The Apple ID you used to purchase it is required to maintain and / or reinstall the OS. Unless you want to supply your own Apple ID to your children for their use, they must purchase their own copy of Mountain Lion using their own Apple ID.
If they do not already have an Apple ID and you want them to have Mountain Lion, you will need to create one on their behalf. This does not change the above procedure - just give them the Apple ID and password you create in addition to the Mac and its discs.
