I just purchased a new Win 8.1 laptop and want to authorize it for my iTunes library. I operate this library on a Win 7 desktop. I have three other Windows computers that I no longer own which were authorized under my iTunes account, but I can't unauthorized them because they are broken or sold. I want to have Computer Authorization for just my current desktop running Win 7 and my new laptop operating Win 8.1. How can I selectively unauthorize a computer if I no longer have it in my possession, and if I have to unauthorize all of my computers, how do I get my iTunes library of music back onto my current desktop system?

Deauthorizing the computer will not remove the content from your library. You deauthorize all, then authorize the ones you want. See this support document. Deauthorize your computer using iTunes - Apple Support

I use to own 5 computers and i had just return them to the apple store and i just purchased the imac and cant play the music on it. I only have one macbook with the itunes match and i would like a refund if I use the imatch on two comp. Thanks jennie

In iTunes you use the Authorize This Computer or De-authorize This Computer option under the Store menu in iTunes' menubar. For Windows use the ALT-S keys to access it. Or turn on Windows 7 and 8 iTunes menus: iTunes- Turning on iTunes menus in Windows 8 and 7.

You can de-authorize individual computers, but only by using those computers. The only other option is to "de-authorize all" from your iTunes account.
1. Open iTunes on a computer
2. From the Store menu, select "View my Account..."
3. Sign in with your Apple ID and password.
4. Under "Computer Authorizations" select "De-authorize All".
5. Authorize each computer you still have, as you may require.
You may only do this once per year.
After you "de-authorize all" your authorized computers, re-authorize each one as required.
If you have de-authorized all computers and need to do it again, but your year has not elapsed, then contact: Apple - Support - iTunes - Contact Us.

Dictation requires an Internet connection in OS X Mountain Lion, so you can't use Dictation without an Internet connection. Instead, use an app like Dragon Dictate.

Phone is LG G3. I find it odd that I have to cycle through airplane mode to fix this particular issue.

There has been no improvement thus far.
I recently switched from AT&T for a cheaper price, but so far my experience connection-wise across Chicago has been absolutely terrible. Where I used to get 4-5 bars 4GLTE in my apartment at 60640, I now get 3G if I'm lucky (have NEVER seen 1X before on AT&T even in the most remote of locations).
I also have poor connections near my work at 60611. Had (again) a bar of 1X and the person next to me had 3 bars 4G LTE with AT&T again.
So far plenty of regrets... and doing my research, I see many complaints in Chicago LTE services. Hoping there is a fix out there soon.

If you own any verson of iPhoto '11 then there is a free update to version 9.5.x in the App store
If you own a previous version of iPhto (iPhoto '09 or earlier) then as always an upgrade to a new version (in this case iPhoto '11) is a paid upgrade and you purchase it in the App store
and no OS update/upgrade contains a version of iPhto - it is a seperate program and although it is included as part of every new Mac it is not a free program and never has been sinve version 1 or 2 (I forget when it changes)

Macbook pro fan making loud noises and going really fast. Now the fan doesn't work at all and my computer gets extremely hot almost instantly. Is there a way to fix it without having to pay a ton of money to have someone fix it for me?

I've had my Macbook pro for about 3 1/2 years now. It has worked great until recently. A few months ago I noticed that the fan would always run really fast when I was doing simple tasks. After a few weeks/months, the fan was still really fast but it also started to make these loud noises. Now, it only occasionally makes the loud noise if I move my computer after its been stationary for a while. I have the same issue with pages/keynote and numbers (iWorks). Came preinstalled when I bought the macbook air back in 2010 (Out of warranty). It crashed a couple of months ago so I took it to Apple but when I got it back the iWorks was no longer there. I cannot go back to Apple for a few months as there is no Apple store where I am currently.

I have snow leopard. My iTunes is 10.6.3, which is the current software for OS 10.6.8. The new iPhone 5 requires iTunes 7! Does this REALLY mean I'll be forced into purchasing either Mountain Lion?

I have not ugraded, but I can on 1 of my apples, to Mountain Lion. Much of the software I use is not compatible, or the compatible version is unacceptable (Quicken, etc.).
iTunes is 10.6.3, and it says it is the CURRENT software for my system.
The new iPhone 5 requires iTunes 7.
I may be dense, but is there no way around this problem other than upgrading to Mountain Lion? Maybe it is a strategy to sell more computers? In any case I may simply bypass the new iPhone. That isn't what would be the ideal scene, but it's an option.
Any thoughts on Apple coming up with a solution and having the iPhone 5 at least partially compatible with iTunes 10.6.3? Like they did with iCloud?

Is there a way to download iOs7 without having 2.9 gbs free?

I've an 8gb iPhone 4 and currently only have around 400mbs free on my phone but if I only had to download the size of the update I could simply delete some songs. However as it is I'd have to delete over 50% of my music. Is there some way I can just download the update file without needing 2.9 gb free? Would it be possible to take all my music off my phone, download iOS7 delete the stock OS and put the music back on the device?
Any answers to the above questions would be greatly appreciated as would any space saving tips!

Based on what I see here (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/IPhone), I believe that the 3,1 is the one you want. I think the 3,2 was for China.

I need to finish a presentation asap! i have to add one more document (already created) to two others. the problem is orientation. 2 are already in portrait. The one I have to add is landscape. Is there a way to fix this?

When you create a form with Adobe Designer, and you need mixed page orientation (i.e. some portrait and some landscape) you can achieve this using multiple Master pages.
I took your two forms and created a sample (see attached) with mixed orientation.
Here is what you do to get mixed orientation...
Create a new form
Add a Master Page (with the Master Page tab active, select Insert > New Master Page
Select the second Master Page and set the orientation to landscape (Object > Master Page tab)
Select the Design View tab
Add a new page Page (with the Design View tab active, select Insert > New Page)
To associate the new page with the second (landscape) Master Page...
Select the new page (from the Heirarchy palette)
In the Object > Pagination palette set the "place" property by browsing where you want it (i.e. On Page "insert name of your landscape master page here")
Note: you will need to resize the content are of the page to match the landscape orientation.

While replacing my battery I was using the tool to pop out battery whie doing so the battery came out along with the black piece it catches or goes onto on the motherboard ..I tried to hold it onto the board with finger and phone stays on but now battery won't charge ...so I ought it. A store and this guy solders it back on but now it's as if it's not even on he board and the phone is in permanent reset like as if I plugged it in without a battery is there a way that I can fix this and have Pune still work and recharge my battery without having to buy a new phone?

i got a new laptop. I used to hae a PC and then got a Mac. my old laptop crashed and I had so much music on it. So when I plugged my iphone into my Mac I was able to put my purchased music on my iphone but nothing else. Some how my old laptop worked again so I was able to get my old music on my iphone. But when i went to plug my iphone into my new Mac it said I have to delete all of my old music off my iphone or i will not be able to transfer any of my new music from my mac. Any one know what i can do ?
