For iBooks try downloading the current version on your computer's iTunes so that the app is in your purchase history. Then on your iPad go to the Purchased tab in the App Store app and see if you can download an older compatible version of it.
You can also try similar for the Kindle app - I don't know whether Amazon have made older versions of their app available in the store, so it may not work for that. If not, then as a work-around you could use their cloud reader 'app' : http://read.amazon.com - go to that site on Safari on your iPad and then create a homescreen shortcut for it (kindle cloud reader help)

You kinda have that backwards, Roboform needs to support Firefox. If you upgrade to Roboform version 7, you'll have Roboform working in Firefox 4.0.1.

HI! I have a somewhat similar problem I have an iPad with an iOS 5. I already have downloaded the iBooks and been using it for a long time. The problem is that i used my Apple ID on an iPhone 4 with an updated iOS 7 and downloaded iBooks on that device. When i checked my iPad, i can't access the iBooks anymore. It started to reinstall by itself but it is only installing halfway. Same problem i have with my Twitter app. I have already logged out my Apple ID on the iPhone 4 and tried to reinstall iBooks on my iPad but its says that it is already iBook 3 and that it is only compatible with iOS 7. When reinstalling Firefox from a download, Firefox must be down once the installation starts. When the installation finishes, don't let the install start firefox for you. Restore the backup before you installed.
If you didn't make a backup, at very minimum make sure your Music library isn't compromised by locating the folder you selected the music to be in (usually in Users -> yourname -> Music) and make sure there are several MB of data there by clicking once on the folder, and selecting Get Info from the File menu in the Finder.
If you can't find it, try to locate parts of track names with Find Any File.

I switched from Ubuntu to Arch, and met a problem with WINE.
I have a SIGMA DP1 camera and have to use SIGMA PHOTO PRO with WINE to process the RAW files.
In Arch WINE doesn't work with the application. In Ubuntu there is no problem with it.
