What are you trying to do when the request for the old ID comes up?
1. Update apps? Any app purchased or downloaded with the old ID will always be associated with that ID and require the old ID and password to update. The only way to stop this requirement is to delete those apps associated with the old ID and download them again with your present Apple ID. You will have to purchase again any apps that have a fee. Be sure to save data and files before deleting the old app.
2. If you are trying to activate an iPad or iPhone and it is asking for a previous owners Apple ID and password, you have encountered the Activation Lock. This is a security feature that prevents thieves from setting up and using a stolen or lost iPad or iPhone. You have no alternative. You must contact the previous owner to get permission to use the device. If you cannot contact the previous owner return the device to where you bought it and get a refund. You will never be able to activate the device and no one can help you do it.

I have asked for your email address to be edited out. Posting your address in an open thread is a sure way to be bombarded by unwanted email, remember it will be here long after you have resolved your problem, for automated detection software to find.
If you want people to contact you, enable others to see your email address in your profile.
This feature has been introduced to make stolen phones useless to those that have stolen them.
However it can also arise when the user has changed their Apple ID details with Apple and not made the same changes to their iCloud account/Find My Phone on their device before upgrading to iOS 7.
The only solution is to change your Apple ID back to its previous state with Apple at My Apple ID, verify the changes, enter the password as requested on your device and then turn off "find my phone".
You should then change your Apple ID back to its current state, verify it once again, delete the iCloud account from your device and then log back in using your current Apple ID. Finally, turn "find my phone" back on once again.

The iPhone HAS to be active making calls on the UK carrier network for the carrier to identify as "theirs" and therefore eligible for the Carrier to unlock
The way to achieve this is to use a PAYG sim making and receiving calls to establish a customer relationship with the Carrier and then follow the Carrier's process to unlock
With a PAYG it usually means adding a specified (by the carrier ) amount usually £15 /£20 depending on the carrier

due to security reasons, Skype will not provide the email address associated with a certain account in such situation (ex: as anyone can pretend that they are the owner of that account). You may have very limited options, but if you read the "Can't Remember Registered Email Address" comment of the thread provided, that may help.

Wade, there is a way "undo" the Refresh but it does have a lot of steps. See whether you can do this on your own.
As you may have noticed, the Refresh/Reset feature copies your settings (profile) folder to the desktop into a folder named "Old Firefox Data".
Check inside "Old Firefox Data" folder for a folder with a semi-randomized name. If there's only one, that probably has your old settings and add-ons. If there's more than one, you'll want to work with the one that was updated most recently.
Once you have identified the profile folder you want to restore, here is my suggested "old profile resurrection procedure":

Apple IDs use a email address and a password you create for that email address on Apples website.
There should be a link on whatever page you are on to Create an Apple ID. Click that link.

Needed to find a solution to the Firefox Mobile Synching problem and tried to log in to my Mozilla Support account (https://support.mozilla.org/en-US). It would not accept my password that worked before saying that "Accounts created before December 2010 may have issues logging in. Please reset your password below. " Okay, tried to reset password and got this: "We've sent an email to any account using this address. Please follow the link in the email to reset your password." However, no email arrived, after two days and about a dozen of attempts!!!!!! At the same time, I could easily get an email confirmation of my ID and verification that account is active. The only problem is with receiving an email that resets the password.
So, I had to create a new account with a temporary email to use Support - it would not allow me to use my main email address, because "it is used by another account". Thus, my old account is completely locked, and I can not use my email address for a new one. This is not only my problem - I saw other people running into the same trouble. It needs to be fixed soon. At the very least, I need somebody with ADMIN privileges to resend me an email for password reset or delete my old account altogether, so I can use my email again. My old user ID is: TPN49. Thanks.

I am not sure if that was due to silent Admin action,or whether it was due to a bug fix with the SUpport. MOzilla (sumo) system.
