I own Logic Pro 7( I used to have a PowerPC and need to upgrade to Logic Pro 9 (new Intel chip, system 10.8) . Do I need to buy a whole new set or do I upgrade for less cost?

The cost of the Full Logic Pro 9 from the App Store is less than the cost of the discontinued Boxed Upgrade set for Logic Studio (if you could find one) ... so you might as well purchase the full Logic Pro 9 from the App store and be done.

Thanks for responding. Everything seems to work right except for the when I plug into the 737. Ok let me see if I can be more clear. I had this set up done with two representatives of Neumann, and DBox. Here it is I hope this helps. 32 Channel snake (24 Inputs 8 outputs) Channels 1-8 from snake to my Octopre for Drums. From Octropre output quarter inch lines into the Apollo 2, quarter inch input. This is so that the Apollo 2 is taking the drum tracks. Snake Channel 9-12 into Apollo 1 channels 1-4 xlr. Snake Channel 13-16 into Apollo 2 Channels 1-4 xlr. Snake Channel 17 into the 737, output of 737 into Channel 5 of the Apollo 1 quarter inch.
Ok The Dbox. Sum output L&R into channel input 7&8 of Apollo 1. Apollo 1 output channels 1-8 into summing input channel 1-8 of Dbox. Apollo 1 main L&R going to main analog input L&R of Dbox. Spid out to DAW input of Dbox. I have both ADAT of both Apollos connected by optical wire. Also have port 2 of Apollo 1 into port 1 of Apollo 2 connected by Firewire. Let me know. On his phone, sign in Settings>iCloud and enable Mail so that he can have his own email address. Then add your account in Settings>Mail, Contacts & Calendars and enable Contacts and Calendars. They will then appear on his phone alongside any syncing he has set up. This will keep your emails separate, or you can add Mail as well so that you can both access that if you want. You can add his account in the same way on your phone and enable any data types you want to sync.

According to users on the Logic forum here, Logic Pro 7.2 and above (the Universal Binary release of Logic) works very well on Intel Mac. Anything below 7.2 is PowerPC only, and will work very poorly on an Intel Mac, if it works at all.

I have the same question. It seems that Adobe is almost impossible to contact (I ended up here at the forums to ask the same question).
I will never buy another Adobe product again if I can get another program to replace it. If this is customer service then it is NON EXISTENT!
I notice that your question has not been answered and why should you have to get the information from a forum? I know of no other company that makes you do this for simple product information.

Back up all data before proceeding.

What is your brightness setting & how many apps are open?
The quickest way (and really the only way) to charge your iPad is with the included 10W USB Power Adapter. iPad will also charge, although more slowly, when attached to a computer with a high-power USB port (many recent Mac computers) or with an iPhone Power Adapter (5W). When attached to a computer via a standard USB port (most PCs or older Mac computers) iPad will charge very slowly (but iPad indicates not charging). Make sure your computer is on while charging iPad via USB. If iPad is connected to a computer that’s turned off or is in sleep or standby mode, the iPad battery will continue to drain.
Apple recommends that once a month you let the iPad fully discharge & then recharge to 100%.

I was able to install the program on my computer. (Only glitch was that it asked for a .dll file for Vista which I'm not running.
I was able to activate the program ok. When I try to convert any MS Office document to .pdf, it appears to start the process but just doesn't actually produce a .pdf file. No error message or anything...

I'm also having this problem. I'm using Flash Builder 4.6, AIR 3.4 and I've made a DLL (e.g. ExtensionDll.dll) which needs to call functions in another DLL (e.g. DllUsedByExtensionDll.dll) . I've made sure my ANE is working with the ExtensionDll.dll already, so there are no issues with my actionscript code or my ANE packaging or my DLL compilation. However, once I start calling functions from the other DLL, it starts throwing me Error #3500. Even if I call this function (e.g. abc()) in ExtensionDll.dll, but I never actually use the function from actionscript, and I call another function (e.g. def()) from actionscript, the Error #3500 still appears, so it does not seem to depened on the whether the code is used or not.

Hannahdb1 what specific Adobe applications are you attempting to reinstall? Do you receive any specific error messages? Finally what version of Mac OS are you using?

I have just updated to Final Cut Pro 10.1.4 - I have updated Projects and Events on my external hard drives (off the File menu). It's says under several project 'missing file' - but they were all there working fine before I updated.

It's says under several projects 'missing file' - but they were all there working fine before I updated. I am working off 2 external drives - not sure if that would make a difference.

After the update each seperate connected drive should now have a seperate Library.
The older Projects and Events folders would have to be at the top level of those drives go be seen and updated.
Were all the necessary Projects and Events in the corrrct place before updating?
