I PAD NOT PUSHING ENTERED CALENDAR DATA......BUT IS FETCHING

We are trying to sync all 5 products with Mobile ME......Desktop, laptop, iphone, ipod touch and ipad.....the ical works GREAT to push and fetch EXCEPT for the ipad!!! It is Fetching ALL the data entered with all the devices but NOT pushing the data if we enter it in the ipad.....all is updated and turn on.....is there a problem???? I cant for the life of me figure it out......the mobile ME is great for all these devices but really want to PUSH the info from iCal if we enter on the ipad!!!

Fear not.... You are not doing anything wrong. The problem lies within the iOS for iPad, unfortunately. The problem is after a certain amount of time, your iPad goes into sleep mode. Check your settings in your Autolock. (Settings, General, Autolock). When your iPad goes into sleep mode, it shuts down your wifi and data (if you have the 3G version).
Because I have an Exchange Server account, I can't change my Autolock settings to "Never". If you don't have Exchange Server, you may have this option. Theoretically, it should lessen your battery life, but I can't test it.
So, unless Apple changes the iOS to work exactly the same way as the iPhone OR if you can change your Autolock setting to NEVER, we are out of luck.
As it is now, when you slide to unlock your iPad, and go into calendar or mail, it updates. If you set it aside for a period of time, and come back, the only way to update your info is to unslide the Autolock and go back into Mail or Calendar.
So in short, unless the Autolock settings works for you, we all have to wait until Apple fixes this issue.

Are the other phones that can't receive messages iPhones? If not, that could be the problem.

Comboxbox in runtime,already have L case data not able enter same data in U case

Combox Box is used to enter data in run time. "Allow Undefined Strings" option enabled.
Enter a data: "Abcde", it is stored to the list.
Enter another data: "ABcde" labview takes this data as "Abcde", its not recognizing the case sensitive characters.
Any suggestions or solutions to over come this problem.

MobileMe will not push my Calendar or Contacts with 2.1

I cannot get my contacts or calendar to push back to my phone since the 2.1 upgrade. As it stands now, I have nothing in either db. They sync fine between desktop and MobileMe, but the iphone never populates with data. Gmail pushes fine. I have deleted the mobileme account and re-added it, reset the phone, powered down between changing settings. The MobileMe Account is on for all 4 dbs, and push is on for everything as well. Fetch is set to 15 mins. I've waited over 12 hours and nothing.
I am syncing with the desktop now just so I can have my data back on the phone. Is anyone else experiencing this? I've tried every suggestion I have seen on these boards so far and nothing works.

I was able to finally get push working today for my calendar. It turns out that my main calendar was too large to sync. When I exported it during testing, it was over 5mb. All the rest of my calendars were under 70k. Big difference. In my main calendar, I had 3 events that repeated either daily or weekly with no end date. I gave all 3 an end date and then exported the calendar again to check the file size. It was down to 52k! I initiated a sync to mobile me and within seconds, by main calendar arrived on my phone as well as the rest of my push data.
Very strange that one of those three events was causing the problem because I have other repeat events on other calendars with no end date (plus birthdays and such) but adding the end dates fixed it for me. Hope this helps someone else.

Here's an example that does what you want.
Since you didn't give starting values, I had to make some assumptions that made the example numbers in your table fit the calculations. As it turned out, a 2400 initial amount and 1666.69 increments each month produced 22402.68 after 12 months.
I used an auxiliary table, Start, to contain the starting date, and placed the 'current date' in A1 of the main table. For the automatic version, use the formula =TODAY() where I've placed the current date.
The copy of Table 1 (Table 1-1) shows the result on the fifteenth of the following month.
Formula:
B4: =2400+(DATEDIF(Start :: A1,$A$1,"M")*C4)
Format the cell as number, with two places after the decimal, or as Currency, if you want the currency sign.

My iPhone 4s 64gb was freezing so I went to rest menu and pressed the reset all settings it says you will not erase media and data but I have lost all my photos these are not backed up as I just come back from holiday how can I find them?

The photos could/most likely ARE still in photostream. I just did this with my ipad yesterday.
Log onto iCloud from a desktop in iPhoto and see if they alreaady synced over photostream first.

Organiser does not shoe clips DV date but filedate

using ver 8 PrEl and Photoshop El
in organiser for digital photos you can see and organise the pictures according to date when photo was shot according to EXIF metadata.
in DV clip from DV camera we have also the date and time when the clip was shot.
But in organiser shows filedate - which makes sorting useless.
is there any way to use the DV timecode in the organiser?

Before when using PrEl 2, I did use some software for changing filedate to DV date and time - I will have to find that again.
I also used to change filename of each clip to date and time I should go back to that I guess - when I find the software I used.

Right - you can not add text to photos with iPhoto - you must use an external editor

IPad will not send new Calendar events to MobileMe

My iPad will not send new or edited changes to MobileMe.
I have turned off syncing through iTunes to prevent multiple listings of the same event. When I add or change an event on my computer it is changed on my iPad thru MobileMe without any problems, but when I change or add an event on my iPad it is not sent back to MobileMe or to my computer.
(in Settings, Push is set to 'on' on the iPad)
How do I fix this?

Is your iPad updated to IOS 4.2, or later?
You may have to turn Calendars off/then back on. Apple - MobileMe - Set Up MobileMe
Make sure that you do not choose to remove any calendars from your iPad when turning it off. When turning it back on be sure to choose "Merge with MobileMe" to ensure that you do not lose any calendar data which has been already entered on you iPad.

Calendar date resets in TX

I have a Palm TX that has been working so well for what I need I hesitate upgrading to a newer model, but my calendar will not stay current. I can enter 2011 data, but everytime it shuts down it changes back to 2005. The calendar program I have is v 1.2.5 dated 1995-2005. Is there a way to update this calendar program? I have looked and unable to find an update.

I tried the solution you suggested and I don't find it very efficient. Look at how he Date Finder looks in iView Media Pro. http://i49.tinypic.com/2mfk2q.png I can select any year, month or day or any combination of them. Too bad Aperture does not offer this flexible view.

Number 3 on pad not working

The number 3 is unable to be activated whne entering digital data.

But if an external keyboard works then it's not software. I mean, a PRAM and an SMC reset may help a tiny bit into the issue but that's all i can do.
If you REALLY want to know about that, go to system preferences, keyboard;
Where it says "Show Keyboard & Character Viewers in menu bar. Tick that.
Then, at the top left of the menu bar, you will see this icon;
That should allow you to select the keyboard viewer, which will look like this;
Then hit the keys and they should highlight. If they don't, they are not recognised with the system.
A straight-forward test would be to try it in recovery (Hold command+r straight after power-on)

I-pad not starting

On occassion, I try to start my I-pad by pushing the power button but the Ipad doesn't start. Usually I just push the botton button but do I need to push both that and the on/off button on the top of the IP2?

Your iPad should start when you press the sleep button on the top of the device. You should not have to press the bottom button to start. Press and hold down on the sleep button until the logo appears. I takes a few seconds. when the logo appears you can let go of the sleep button.
What you can do to maybe fix this situation is to reset the ipad by holding down on both the sleep button and home button at the same time for about 10 seconds until the Apple logo appears and the device restarts. Ignore the red slider shut off if it appears on the screen.
This may fix the starting issue for you. You should also make sure the iPad has sufficient battery power left before you try to start it. Plug in to the wall charger for a while to make sure you have enough battery power to use the iPad.

Query on Cats data, employees that have not filled in their data.

I have to create a query that will report on all the employees that have not filled in their timesheets. The 0CATS_C01 cube does not contain that data, it only has the employees that have filled in their timesheets.
The route I have decided to take with this requirement is to create a cube with each employee and ecah day of the year and then create a multiprovider with the 0CATS_C01 cube and create an exception report with this multiprovider. I am not sure that this is the best way to go about this report.
However I am stuck at the new employee cube - I don't know how to add a record for each employee and each day to the cube.
Experts, could you please suggest a better way of developing this query, and also a solution to adding a record for each employee and each day of the year, I think that I could do this in the "Start Routine" of the update rule, but am uncertain.
Please help.

I have not worked with CATS data, but consider an InfoSet of employee and the InfoCube. This would provide a list of all emplyees and their CATS data. Create a query, and select by time, and filter by a key figure in the CATS infoCube < 1.
Also consider using a one characteristic DSO instead of the employee master data of "active" employees and using that in the InfoSet. (We probably don't need to know that an an employee who quit six months ago did not fill in his time sheet!)

You cannot delete the account from the server (partly to prevent the username from becoming available again and some-one else using it to pretend to be you).. Having disengaged your devices from it, go to http://icloud.com and delete any data in there such as contacts and calendars. Then just ignore it.
