When I plug my iphone 4s into the usb in my car, text and notifications sounds are gone. The phone only vibrates, no sound. The ringer works fine, and the music plays through the stereo system just fine. When I try to turn up the volume, the ringer shows on the screen, but it will not increase in volume. When I unplug the usb, everything works fine. I have tried different cords and different cars, all with the same result. This only happens in the car, when hooked up to the usb in the house or to the computer, everything works fine. When plugged into the car, the sound disappears. Any ideas?

How come whenever i plug my iPhone 5 into the computer the device will not show up on my itunes. This is the first time that i have done it since i updated to iOS7 and before i had no problem but now it just wont work.

Music, Apps, text message, Photos, Contact List, Notes Pad information. How do I get these Items back or can I?If you backed up the device, you should be able to recover it from the backup unless you somehow deleted the backup. See if it isn't recognized by iTunes, then restore it from backup.

When I plug my ipod shuffle into my usb port, it no longer shows as a "device" over to the left. This makes it impossible to to transfer a new playlist to my ipod. Any suggestions?

Try looking for the iPod below the Search field in iTunes. If it doesn't show up below search, the second article provides troubleshooting tips that should help you out.

I now get an urecognisable usb device message when i plug my ipod classic (ipod colour?) into the usb input in my Volvo V70. The ipod used to work, but since updating the IOs it doesn't. Can anyone tell me where i can find a copy of an old ipsw which does work so that i can downgrade back and acheive compatibility again,

In need of help figuring this phone stuff out! I am trying to get all the apps from my husbands old phone to his new one. I have already backed up the old phone and got everything onto iTunes, but every time I plug the new iPhone 5s into my computer it says that the version of iTunes is not correctly localized for this language and asks for me to run the English version. I have no idea how to do that? Please help.

maybe the mobile sync process wasnt started up

and click process
and end theses follwoing processes if you dont have one running just ignore and go down the list

i just bought a macbook pro and im loving it
i transfered all my music and pictures from my pc to my mac
but now i need to sync my iphone to my mac so i dont have to use my pc no more.
im worried that i will lose all my contacts and my text messages if i sync my iphone to my mac.
everything is fine except that i dont wanna lose my contacts and my text messages.
is there any way to figure this out.
please Help!!Text messages aren't included with the iTunes sync process except for being included with the iPhone's backup, and the same for contacts unless you are syncing contacts with a supported address book app on your computer, which must be manually selected under the Info tab for your iPhone sync preferences with iTunes.
Before syncing contacts with the Address Book app on your Mac, enter one contact in the Address Book app on your Mac. This will provide a merge prompt with the first sync for this data, which you want to select.
The same applies to calendar events before the first sync with iCal on your Mac.
If you transfer your iTunes library from your PC to your Mac per the instructions included with this link, no iTunes content on your iPhone will be erased with the first sync with iTunes on your Mac.

If you are still having issues or continually prompted to erase and sync, you may want to try restoring your iPhone to factory settings before moving your data over (either via syncing or manually):

Can i plug a data stick into the usb lead used to charge my i pad ?
I need to transfer my Nikon NX viewer software from from CD disc to my i pad, i have copied complete software disc data to usb data stick, what is the best way to transfer the data to my i pad. any help would be appreciated.
