Hi I was in the procces of uploading photos from my phone three days ago as i have an important art project to finish today. I have tried to restart my computer log off come back on but every time i put my phone to the computer and press up load photos its comes up with "Photos are baeing import to photo library- please wait for import to complete".
There are 90 photos and this came after it uploaded a few - can you help me - i have tried to quit iphone but this keeps coming up and i need these pics imported from my phone to my computer.

I cannot close or import or any function to iphoto. I have been getting the same message for many days "Photos are being imported to the photo library. Please wait for import to complete." I do not know where the photos would be importing from. How do I get it to proceed?
After Force Quitting, as LarryHN recommended,
Select the iPhoto Library in the Finder. By default it is in your Pictures folder.
Ctrl-click or right-click the iPhoto lIbrary. Select "Show package contents" from the panel, that will pop up.
Look for a folder named "Importing" or "Import". Remove this folder, but don't touch anything else.
Then launch iPhoto again.
If iPhoto now is working again, check the folder you removed, if there are any photos that you want to keep and save them. -

I have tried turning off iclowd and other things that would automatically upload photos but that still didnt work. I can not upgrade my computer because it wants to restart the computer, but iphoto stops the shut down process. It says I need to wait for the download to complete. Import of photos won't complete, just keeps saying please wait for import to complete
I do the usual connections of camera to iMac to download photos to iPhoto. All looks normal until the iPhoto page comes up showing the photos that are being transferred BUT the "import photos" button doesn't work. The letters do not turn black. Like the process is stuck somewhere.

What should I do if the iphoto keeps on saying that "Plz wait for import to complete" when i click the close button but it is not importing photos? How can I close the iPhoto? I try to switch my mac off but it doesn't work. Thanks.
You should be able to select Force Quit from the menu beneath the Apple icon in Finder
and choose to Quit iPhoto from there, without messing up the Mac OS X in the process.

Not sure if rebuilding the iPhoto library would help this issue. However if you had to
turn off the computer without the correct method (unplug, etc; instead of menu choice)
the system may have accrued damages and should be checked, maybe repaired by
use of the Disk Utility in the system. Or restart the computer in Safe Boot mode, then
run 'repair disk permissions' while it is running in that reduced mode; then restart after.

Suggestions on how to use Safe Mode in article, to resolve issues, may be helpful.

Hey guys, I forgot the answers to my security questions. Recently iTunes asked me for the answers, since I forgot I'm now unable to purchase anything :( help please
If you have a rescue email address (which is not the same thing as an alternate email address) set up on your account then go to https://appleid.apple.com/ and click 'Manage your Apple ID' on the right-hand side of that page and log into your account. Then click on 'Password and Security' on the left-hand side of that page and on the right-hand side you should see an option to send security question reset info to your rescue email address.
If you don't have a rescue email address (you won't be able to add one until you can answer 2 of your questions) then you won't get the reset option - you will need to contact iTunes Support or Apple to get them reset.
e.g. you can try contacting iTunes Support : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page, then Account Management , and then 'Forgotten Apple ID security questions'
or try ringing Apple in your country and ask to talk to the Accounts Security Team : http://support.apple.com/kb/HE57
When they've been reset (and if you don't already have a rescue email address) you can then use the steps half-way down this page to add a rescue email address for potential future use : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5312 . Faces with revolving arrow and won't let me close iPhoto
HELP!! Until about a week ago I could use iPhoto, now it acts like it is trying to detect faces and won't let me do anything in iPhoto. You're going to need to Force Quit the app: You'll find that command under the Apple menu top left.
If the problem recurs every time you start iPhoto:
Download iPhoto Library Manager and use its rebuild function. This will create a new library based on data in the albumdata.xml file. Not everything will be brought over - no slideshows, books or calendars, for instance - but it should get all your albums and keywords back.
Because this process creates an entirely new library and leaves your old one untouched, it is non-destructive, and if you're not happy with the results you can simply return to your old one.

IPhone freezes iPhoto and Preview when trying to upload photos.
Hi everyone, I have been trying to upload my photos to my computer (iMac) for months so I can get them off my phone as I'm out of room. When I try to use either iphoto or preview, mostly I get it the spinning wheel. It stays like that for hours.On the rare occasion through preview, the photos have uploaded and I can save them one by one to a folder, but if I attempt to import all, it just freezes. I've tried restarting the computer and I have got everything stored on an external hard drive so the computers memory is just about the same free space wise as it came from the shop.

I have bought my daughter an iPad mini and I've tried to set it all up for her and get her an apple account so she can download games and music but it keeps saying she doesn't meet the age restriction. How can I set this up for her as she has an iPod and would like to access music from iTunes ect.
There are age restrictions for an Apple ID. These are in place for a good reason. Simply set it up to use your iTunes account/Apple ID for purchases. If you don't have one, create one.

Hi, so i just installed ATT Uverse internet and on my macbook pro, it wont let me go to sites like facebook, twitter, youtube login and even google. It just goes to website unavailable but on other non secure sites, its fine. The guy said theres a security issues where you have to contact apple to fix it. Anyone experiemce this or can help me?

Sounds like you have the Restrictions set that prevents changing accounts. You need to unset it. Go to Settings>General>Restrictions.
