I-Pod stuck in test mode, how do I get out?

I-Pod screen shows "Accessorize Test" below that reads "please plug FW" followed by "LCD ID: 1" and followed by "FWPWR : 0"
If I plug it into my computer, it isn't recongized. Doesn't show up in I-Tunes or on My Computer. I've tried pressing all the wheel keys... nothing works.

Have you tried "Resetting" your iPod. Toggle the hold switch off and on a few times then hold down the MENU and SELECT (centre) buttons for five or ten seconds until you see the Apple logo appear then the menu button to go to the normal display: iPod isn't responding it appears to be frozen

If you cannot login you will have to go back to single user mode in order to reset a password.

I'm stuck in proxy mode, how can I get out?

I seem to be be stuck in proxy mode. Even with a new library and a new clip, it shows a 'missing proxy' label. I can't switch to 'optimized/original media'. FCPX simply doesn't do it. I already tried trashing prefs and reinstalling FCPX. please help?

What exactly happens when you try to switch by selecting Original/Optimized as in Alchroma's image? Does it still show Proxy as selected?
You may also try Window->Revert to Original Layout.
If reinstalling, it is recommended that you use FCS Remover to make sure that all traces of the application are deleted. And then you'd need to download a fresh copy from the App Store, and also download the additional content from inside the application.
It stays on Proxy. That is the issue.
Revert to original layout didn't help.
I uninstalled using AppCleaner. I deleted all files (except the 1Gb of additional content)

Google "DFU mode", put it in that mode and Restore it in iTunes.
And stay away from jailbreaking.

EDIT: Just noticed that you already rebooted. You say that you "put computer in safe mode". Is firefox in safe mode or your whole computer?

* Uninstall firefox and install again (your settings will not be lost as they are stored in your profile folder).

Stuck in recovery mode no way to get out.

I tried to update my ipod 4G but after finishing download it went to recovery mode and when I connect it to itunes it it doesn't restore my ipod and show that error: software update server could not contracted. so I tried to get away the recovery mode but none of the ways work I try recboot and tinyumbrella and dfu mode but they didnt work.
Now I'm stuck in recovery mode I can neither restore nor get out recovery mode.
Please someone help me.

If this program will not get the iPod out of recovery mode you will have to restore via iTunes and erase the iPod.
