I Purchased a CPO Apple Iphone4 that died a month later?

I purchased a CPO Iphone 4 for my daughters 13 birthday, on 9/26/14 . Exactly a month later it died. Right after I paid for another month service. I called Verizon Wireless for two days straight and spoken to every department they had. I was told to contact Apple it has a one year replacement and they would replace the phone at no charge to me. I then called Apple who told me there was no 1 year warranty and it will cost me $150 to replace the phone through them. Thats more then I paid for the phone to begin with. Again I contacted Verizon ,I was finally told I had to take it to a verizon wireless store. So I drove 25 miles away to the closest store in Mt Pleasant,TX I was told they can re order me a replacement iphone 4 because its within the 90 day guarentee and it would ship directly to me. I had to give them the old phone. I thought my problem had been resolved but boy was I wrong. The replacement order was placed on 10/28/14 I was told I would receive it on that friday 10/31/14 and it never came. So Yesterday on 11/3/14 I called the store  Only to be told that the Automated system cancelled the replacement order that it thought it was fraud? First off how is that even possible? I was told they would Re Order the replacement phone and I would have it today on 11/4/14 They didnt have a tracking number and to call back in an hour and half and they could provide me one. So I called last night and again they didnt have the tracking number. I called again this morning and I am now being told it has not shipped yet they dont know when it will ship or how soon I will have the phone. I was told to call Customer service at 800-922-0204 and ask them why they are not shipping it yet? So again I called customer service,only to be told that the Store has to Initiate the order and have it shipped??? And to now call the store back and ask them why they never placed the order. Like really what kind of company is this, the left hand doesnt know what the right hand is doing! So again I called the mt pleasant store and asked for a manager. I spoke to the assistant manager Jason who assured me the order was placed, but it has not shipped. He cannot tell me when it is expected to ship or provide me any details or a tracking number until it ships? Why has this been such a long horrible run around? All I want is a working cellphone so I can keep track of my daughter. What a really lame birthday gift this has turned out to be.

Yeah that such they should have replaced it with 90 day warranty.  Shipped it to and then you ship the other one back. Not the first huge mess sorry

    I would suggest contacting the company that you purchased the book from. If you have proof of purchase they should be able to help you get a new copy of the book.

    Any content purchased from the iTunes Store is permanently, and perpetually, and eternally, and I mean like forever, tied to the account from which it was originally purchased.  Apple provides no way to move songs to a different account.
    You can however put songs from multiple accounts into a single iTunes library.

    Are you by chance signed in to differnt accounts on iTunes (your computer(s)) and AppleTV?  Is AppleTV connected to more than one computer?  When you are compairing lists of movies are you looking under the "Movies" button, or under the "Computer" button?  Where all of these movies purchased though iTunes? 
    NOTE:  The computer button only shows the content that is downloaded to your computer(s).  So it will not show all the content you have purchased.  Just all the content on the computer.

When I look at my account, I can see the $20.00 purchase of music volumes that I did not purchase myself and was not uploaded to any of my devices; however, I cannot find a solution to getting my money back or to file a complaint against the unknown person that did this.     Thank you for the suggestion. I did change the password; however, I generally will purchase gift cards to link to the account so that if something like this ever happened it would not be taken out of a credit card or bank account.

    we have an apple ID that was set up in my wife's name. The kids have changed the account details and no-one can remember the password. They have also changed the account data and none of our birthdays are recognised by apple. We have no way of re-setting the account. The secondary email address we used when setting up the account is no longer accessible so even this option doesnt work..
    What can we do as we have a large amount of purchased music on this account???

    1. Don't confuse "Apple ID" with iTunes Account ID.  You can have many Apple IDs but only one iTunes account active at a time.
    2. If you "changed" your iTunes account ID, you actually have 2 accounts - one under the old name plus the new name.
    3. You can't merge the accounts - they remain separate.  Apps purcahsed under the old account name will update ONLY WHEN THE PHONE IS SIGNED IN TO THE OLD ACCOUNT NAME  and visa versa.
    4. Likewise, you can sync only the apps, music, media purchased under the account the phone AND iTunes are signed in to.

  • TS1389 Similar problem with our iPad.  Apps purchased with "old" USR name that is not an email address can not be updated.  Free Apps update OK, but purchased ones show box asking for the non-email USR ID which Apple no longer recognizes.  HELP

    Have tried to get Apple Tech Support and local Apple techs to deal with this problem to no avail.  Apple store "genius" throws up hands and says nothing can be done.  Root of the problem seems to be that the old non-email AppleID is stuck in their system creating a catch22 that it appears as the account purchasing Apps, then is not recognized as a valid ID, and then disallows any attempt to change it to a recognized email address.
    Consequence is that Apps appropriately purchased can not be updated.  Apple store advises us to delete them and repurchase, but this seems more Windowsian than Applian.  Any Ideas??

    Thank you for posting in the Apple Support Communities.  I found an article that addresses Apple IDs that are different than the Primary Email Address on the account.  You will need to go to https://appleid.apple.com/ to "Make your Apple ID and email address one and the same."
    If your Apple ID and primary email address do not match, or they match but the email address is unverified, you can edit them.
    1. Sign in to My Apple ID to manage your account information.
    2. If you want to add and verify an email address that matches your Apple ID, follow the dialog box that says "Make your Apple ID and email address one and the same." This will automatically unverify that email address from any other Apple ID for which it was previously verified.
    3. If you want to change your email address to one that does not match your Apple ID, click Edit next to your Primary Email Address. If this email address is already associated with another Apple ID, you will need to sign in with that Apple ID and delete it before you can add it to your preferred Apple ID.
    Note: If you have an @me.com or @mac.com Apple ID and primary email address, you cannot edit your primary email address once it has been verified. To change your @me.com or @mac.com primary email address to another email address, contact Apple Support for assistance.

    I was able to find the following transition guide for Xserve that provides some workload guidance to determine performance when planning a server deployment.

    On page 9, Performance there is a chart that provides maximum numbers of connected users for various activities such as file sharing, mail, web, calendar, directory services and Time Machine and the CPU used as a server (Xserve, Mac Pro, Mac Mini). This information is a bit dated as the referenced software is Snow Leopard Server (OS X 10.6), and the hardware is older also, but it should give you a general idea of what you might need to look for.

  • CHange Apple ID that purchased app

    Here's the deal:
    I downloaded an app and opened it in iTunes.
    At that point, it's in my app library.
    I can't sync it to my iPhone 4, and I figured out why, it's because when i hit Command+i for info it says it was purchased by someone elses Apple ID.
    How can I change the Apple ID that it says I purchased the app with to my Apple ID.
    I tried to be as clear as possible but if anybody needs more information please tell me. would like to solve this problem.

    You can't. You'll need to sign out of the iTunes Store with the other Apple ID, sign in with yours and purchase the app. This is why you should not allow your friends to use their iTunes Store account on your computer. You didn't buy that app, your friend did.
