Try setting the text direction with no files open. It should stick for all new files.

  • I purchased CS6 Design & Web Premium but there is nothing on my Order List?!

    I recently made a purchase just awhile ago, I got directed to 'My Order List' and could see my order there.
    But when I refreshed it they disappeared and now my order is missing. Could someone tell me just what is going on?
    I have check 'My Order' for an hour now, still nothing. All my details have been submitted, including proof of my student card. I purchased the CS6 Web and Design suite for Students and Teachers to be exact. I have check my mail for any updates over the purchase but have got nothing, I would like to confirm if my order is really being processed as I am aware that it takes time for the 'Proof of Identification'(student) to be approved. I have a feeling that there was some server issues and should just make another purchase, I don't want to be pay for 2 copies though.
    I would really appreciate it if the Adobe staff could clear this issue!

  • Trying to download the first 4.5GB CS6 Design Web Premium package several times, but the download cuts out midway through...

    I'm using Windows 8.1 (fully updated) and Chrome.
    This issue is really eating my bandwidth by having to delete and download the file again. The final file has different sizes in the end, from approximately 0.5GB to 2.0GB.

    I've moved to a different house/network and plugged in through wired Ethernet.
    I tried downloaded two different download managers and also tried each using Internet Explorer and Firefox as well... I'm currently using the computer while it's downloading so it's not going to sleep. I've also turned off my firewalls and anti-virus and it's "completed" the download four additional times, all of which stopped at exactly 480,704 KB.
    I'm out of ideas... Are there any Adobe download clients that will download each program within the CS6 package and install individually?

  • CS6 Design & Web Premium "Program Launching Problem"

    II purchased CS6 Design & Web Premium in September and have been using the program ever since and everything was working fine until this week when I tried to launch Photoshop, InDesign, Dreamweaver, etc. and I got the following message:
    “The procedure entry point GetLogicalProcessorInformation could not be located in the dynamic link library Kernal32.dll”.
    Consequently, the majority of the programs won't operate at all because of this. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling CS6 and also using the Adobe CC Cleaner Tool. Also, I've reinstalled Windows and even replaced my Processor thinking that might be the issue but nothing has fixed the problem. NOTE: By the way, I also own CS5.5 Design and Web Premium and everything works fine.
    Now I'm getting the message when I try to launch Illustrator that I'm only using a "Trial Version" and I have to sign in.
    Please help me. I really need to use CS6.

    Hey all,
    Ok. I am working in a company that has got CS6 Design & Web Premium installed in 1 PC but the PC has been running slow as of late.
    So it's been decided to be installed into a new PC for better performance. My problem is trying to find an installation for CS6 Design & Web Premium Windows 7 x64. So is there a link that I can go to to download it? or did adobe cut off all those links because of Creative Cloud?
    Because I went around the adobe website and it keeps pointing me at Creative Cloud. Since CS6 Design & Web Premium has been installed before I started this job I don't know where or how they installed it on the current PC as well as the account it has been registered to it. Only thing I have is the serial number. So Im just wanting the CS6 Design & Web Premium Windows x64 installation.

  • CS6 Design & Web Premium trial stops in the middle of downloading.

    I've tried to download CS6 Design & Web Premium on several occasion over the last four days, and everytime it stops at just over 10% of the download.
    I've made sure I have enough disk-space. I run at about 20M download speed. I've tried both wireless and physical connections and get the same result everytime. I seem to have run out of options. Oh - I've also varied the time I start the downloads from morning, afternoon and night. I've tried Google Chrome and Internet Explorer. My laptop (which I've had for over 8 months) runs Windows 7 and until now, I had not come across a download problem.
    I'm growing quite frustrated and need to know why I've encountered this problem and how to resolve it.

    CS6 Design/Web Premium Windows Upgrade (for CS5.5 Design Premium) is shipped and on its way for 5/10/12 delivery. Reading on these boards about CS6 installation problems (plus the installation difficulties for CS5 upgrade from CS4), prompt me to ask:
    What is the best way to install the CS6 upgrade?
    Is there a CS6 clean tool available?
    I would ordinarily first deactivate and uninstall CS5.5 Design Premium.
    Is this the best way to proceed?

    If you do not want to keep a CS5.5 concurrent installation , this is the best way in my opinion.
    The CS5.5 uninstallers do not remove everything of CS5.5 however. There will be e.g. left overs in the Help titles of the CS6 Help Manager. There is a cleaner tool: http://www.adobe.com/support/contact/cscleanertool.html

  • Can I transfer my Adobe CS6 Design & Web Premium (Student edition) to another machine?

    Hello, last year I purchased Adobe CS6 Design & Web premium for students, and what I ordered is for Mac. I installed it in my iMac and Macbook, but then I unlinked the one in my iMac because I planned to install it in another machine (a windows desktop computer which is also mine). But then I typed the serial number to the Adobe design & web premium in windows and it says "the serial number you entered is invalid."
    Any idea how to transfer the CS6 to this machine?

    Serial numbers for perpetually licensed products such as CS6 are platform specific: Mac only or Windows only.
    You cannot use a Mac serial number to license the software on Windows. And vice versa.
    You can swap platforms using this procedure but it will require that you surrender your Mac license.

    Cloud apps (CC versions) do not have that limitation: they can be installed on both Mac and/or Windows for the same membership fee.

    In 2013 I have bought the CS6 Design & Web Premium Student version, in Australia
    I have installed it on both my desktop and old laptop.
    All the emails exchanged with Adobe at the time of purchase containing my licence details are on my desktop, still in Australia.
    I have activated my CS6 D&WP on my laptop when I left Australia to New Caledonia, where I still am now.
    I have just bought a new laptop on which I have installed a trial version. I need now to deactivate CS6 on my old laptop and activate it on the new one. The problem is that I don't have with me my licence details.
    How can I get back Adobe instructions emails with my licence details I got in the first place, and whole the procedure instructions to do that operation?
    Looking forward to getting some useful help, as I can't find any way to send a message directly to Adobe support.

    I'm not sure, but the answer must be a Yes. Coz, it is like you are upgrading to a product which has more products.
    If you have purchased Design & Web Premium CS6 within 30 days, then it is better to return and purchase Master Collection itself.
    I'm not sure of the cost either.

    I bought Adobe CS6 Design Web Premium in marth 2014.
    Now I'm in university and I will learn how to use Adobe Premiere Pro.
    Unfortunately, this software isn't include in the suite that I purchased.
    Is it possible to upgrade to the Master Collection suite ? Or maybe to have a special price to buy the Creative Suite Production Premium ?

    As a student you are usually able to purchase Adobe software at a reduced price.  While you cannot usually upgrade a student/teacher version of software you can still purchase the software at a substantial savings.  You should look into this if you have noit already done so.
