I purchased IPad air in USA. DO I need an adaptor to charge it in UK as a regular Uk USB PLUG does not seem to work

I have just tried to charge my IPad which I purchased in USA. I plugged the USB into a UK USB mains plug but it does not seem to start my IPad charging. Do I need an adaptor as I assume the IPad is 110 volt and not 240?

The power adapter is rated 110-240 Volts, 50-60 Hz so that part is OK. What you may need is a physical wall plug adapter for the UK.

You can purchase those at luggage/travel stores, electronics shops, online, etc...
