/Applications/Adobe Photoshop Elements 12/Support Files
and double click on the
Adobe Photoshop Elements Editor.app
then to keep the ps 12 editor icon in the dock so you can start it from there, right click on the pse 12 icon in the dock and under Options, click Keep in Dock -

It is not clear what you mean. Normally one does not generate a serial number, it is provided with the purchase.

Hi David,
You need to download CS6 Photoshop and enter the serial number for CS6 Photoshop and then you would be prompted to enter the serial number for qualifying product.
Enter the CS5 serial number in order to install and activate CS5 Photoshop on your machine.

Purchased Photoshop Elements 13 (upgraded from Photoshop Elements 10), downloaded, entered serial numbers, then got the error message: "OS Requirement not met, Windows Vista not supported" now what?

You'll either have to upgrade your operating system to Windows 7 or Windows 8 or return PSE 13 for a refund. -

I am supposed to be able to extract a frame from PSE 13 but it will not let me do so. Specifically, Select File > Import > Frame From Video is supposed to allow this but when I click Import, there is no Frame from video option.
Here are the instructions from the Adobe website:

Browse and select the video.
Click Play.The video starts playing in the Frame From Video dialog box. You can use the playback controls to display the frames your want to grab. If you find the audio distracting, select Mute.

Click Done.This is strange because I found the following on the adobe PSE 13 website (but the Select File/Import does not include Frame From Video:

Recently purchased photoshop elements and never received the download.
I purchased and downloaded Photoshop Elements on other computers. i went to buy it for my laptop and said my account was registered to a different country. So I purchased it on a different, established account. Now I was charged for it, emailed my info, but when I track the order it says it doesn't exist. The customer service is horrible. No number to call, chat line just says close browser every time I try to use it.

Whenever I enter my serial number a message appears : "This serial number is not valid for Adobe Photoshop Elements 12"

Around the time of the original post there was a problem with the Adobe server and a note was put out which may have answered the original posters problem.
You don't tell us anything about your problem - any error message?
