May not make a difference anyway. The Logitech support site does not show drivers for Mac OS for the F310:

I'd contact their support to find out if there is a Mac driver available, and if they can either give you a web link to get it, e-mail you the software, or snail-mail you a standard-size disk with the drivers.

ThanksIf your computer shipped with Snow Leopard, that means it shipped with two disks: an Install disk that contains the OS, and an applications disk that contains the iLife suite. You would use the applications disk to reinstall iLife.

I want to sell off my old MacBook Pro and do not want any of my old stuff on it for the next person to fool around with. I'd like a clean-slate for the next guy/gal. It's a 17-inch that I purchased back in '07. It is currently running Snow Leopard after I installed it myself about two years ago. I DO NOT HAVE THE ORIGINAL DISK THAT CAME WITH THE LAPTOP IN THE BOX.

Reboot holding the c or option key down to boot from the disk, select Disk Utility from under the Utilities menu on the second screen (first is language selection)
Now select your boot drive on the left with the drive makers name and disk size and click Erase > Security Option > Zero All Data and click Erase
It will take some time to complete as it's making sure all your personal data if not easily recoverable off the drive using software.
Now quit and you will be back in the installer window, install 10.6 and it will reboot to the "Welcome Video" you can choose to press the power button down and do a hard shutdown, the computer will boot again to this video for the next owner.

You will need either the system DVD's that came with the MacBook or a retail Snow Leopard DVD...

My Macbook was running slow and kept giving me error codes so I figured the easiest thing to do would be to erase it and do a fresh install. But now, after installing with the disk 1, it won't move past the grey Apple logo screen.
I've done disk repair and verified and there seems to be no problems.

No, that SL disk is meant for the computer it came with only.
Upgrading to SL generally will not cause data loss, but you should have a backup of your important files in any case.
You can get a Snow Leopard disk by calling Apple - in the USA it's 800-MY-APPLE.

Previously I was running snow leopard and refused to upgrade as I knew it would cause my pro tools to become incompatible, however when I received my knew, hard drive due to my old one becoming corrupt, the apple techs had installed lion as the OS, I updated to mavericks on the off chance the incompatibility was just with Lion. However I my Snow leopard disk is also incompatible with the new OS, I would like to know if there is any way to install snow leopard onto my mac while it is using mavericks?
Restart the computer with the disk in the drive and the C key held down and install Snow Leopard onto a blank partition or drive. If needed, use the Disk Utility to repartition or erase the internal one.

I plan to restore my computer to factory settings to have a fresh start but i dont know if all the ilife applications will still be there (imovie, iphoto, etc). Or is the ilife applications included in the Applications Install DVD?
Yes, they are, unless you have a machine which shipped with Mac OS X Server, in which case you wouldn't have them to begin with.

I upgraded to Mountain Lion and very much regret this move. I cannot use Parallels or Bootcamp for Windows XP which I need for some of my 'older' accessories. How do I revert from Mountain Lion back to Snow Leopard? I have the Snow Leopard software but I do not have the original setup software disk that came with the MacBook (leant to a friend and never seen again).
If you do revert to Snow Leopard, be aware of this "feature" I used with my 2009 MacBook Pro:
When it had the original OS (Leopard, I believe) I set up Bootcamp with Windows XP. I also installed Parallels and use the Bootcamp partition for Windows XP within Parallels.
I then upgraded to Snow Leopard and all was fine.
I then upgraded to Lion and still my Bootcamp partition works for Windows XP and also for Parallels.
I have not upgraded to Mountain Lion so I cannot speak to whether or not the Bootcamp paritition of Windows XP will continue to work. If you do and it works, LET US KNOW! -

You say that you have Mac OS X 10.7.5, so if it came preinstalled, see that you can't reinstall it because it's registered to the old owner. Call Apple to get replacement DVDs

I have mac pro 2007 model given to me, I updated it to lion about six months ago, and I do not have a time machine.
Lion stopped loading before I get to the login screen,
I tried all the tips, doing a option/shift/v. I noticed several fsk_dsk errors that it could not fix on my boot drive.
Restore would not work either. The only physical copy I have is the install disk that came with the mac. I think it is Tiger.
If I put this operating system on will I be abel to upgrade it to lion, and if so will I have to pay again?The Lion Recovery Partition has its own index. Your Macintosh HD partition is the one with the troubles.
If Disk Utility cannot fix it, you may need to apply different Utilities, such as Disk Warrior.
Some readers suggest that the best disk repair is to erase the drive and restore it from your Backups.
This might be a good time to consider getting a new drive to have on hand. This would allow you flexibility in copying, fixing, and (if needed) replacing the drive with the problems. -
CR files will no longer show in bridge and will not load into PS
Hi I had a problem with bridge CS6 dynamic link failing and had tech support finally help with the problem by phone They had me reinstall PSCS6 and Bridge among other things like setting the permissions differenty. It worked ok when I opened it again after those changes and then I closed the apps and opened them again the next day (today) but now the CR files will show no thumbnails nor previews in bridge and will not load into PSCS6.
I get now the following error messages
These are files that are on my system and not from a camera plugged into the computer. They had worked just fine before the reinstall and permisisons changes the tech had me do. They open in the preview app and look fine so I know they are not corrupted files and I have tried different saved versions of the same (or any other CR file) and none of them will now open and Camera raw itself seems no where to be found. My prefences in camera raw have not clanged. Any ideas??? thanks and aloha, UP

If the post goes inanswered I will call tech support again. aloha UPHI, I managed to fix the trouble by reinsatalling once again and running updates BEFORE opening bridge. It seemed that if I ran the update AFTER opening bridge I would get either an up to date status when checking for updates or I would get an install failure notice on all 4 updates that were trying to install. The updates were for camera raw, bridge and PS. I can't explain why but that helped a little. I also changed permissions on my whole user accnt to include read/write for all users. I can't say if this helped or not. I also had to go into my camera B/U files on a sepate HD and replace some of the CR folders I was using o nthe desktop. Still the CR files would not show a thumb nor a preview till I then went to each individual file inside that folder and purged the cashe for that file so it could repopulate the cashe yet again. This has been the strangest few days in PSCS6 history! Well my personal history. I will report back here if more quirks emerge. I would prefer quarks though....aloha, U
