Some things to try first:
1. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord for 30 seconds or longer) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
2. Go to Settings>Wi-Fi and turn Off. Then while at Settings>Wi-Fi, turn back On and chose a Network.
3. Change the channel on your wireless router (Auto or Channel 6 is best). Instructions at http://macintoshhowto.com/advanced/how-to-get-a-good-range-on-your-wireless-netw ork.html
4. Go into your router security settings and change from WEP to WPA with AES.
5. Renew IP Address: (especially if you are droping internet connection)
    •    Launch Settings app
    •    Tap on Wi-Fi
    •    Tap on the blue arrow of the Wi-Fi network that you connect to from the list
    •    In the window that opens, tap on the Renew Lease button

Note - When troubleshooting wifi connection problems, don't hold your iPad by hand. There have been a few reports that holding the iPad by hand, seems to attenuate the wifi signal.
Some Wi-Fi losses may stem from a problematic interaction between Wi-Fi and cellular data connections. Numerous users have found that turning off Cellular Data in Settings gets their Wi-Fi working again.
You may have many apps open which can possibly cause the slowdown and possibly the loss of wifi. In iOS 4-6 double tap your Home button & at the bottom of the screen you will see the icons of all open apps. Close those you are not using by pressing on an icon until all icons wiggle - then tap the minus sign. For iOS 7 users, there’s an easy way to see which apps are open in order to close them. By double-tapping the home button on your iPhone or iPad, the new multitasking feature in iOS 7 shows full page previews of all your open apps. Simply scroll horizontally to see all your apps, and close the apps with a simple flick towards the top of the screen.

Mine does the same thing occasionally, is your phone jailbroken? Sometimes it will work if you delete the book and reinstall it or put your phone into airplane mode then turn it back off.

Downloaded new iOS 7 on my iPad mini and now I can't access any wifi

After the new iOS 7 was downloaded my iPad mini will no longer connect to my wifi network. I have tried restarting both the iPad and the wifi. Wifi works fine on others devices with the new operating system. I have tried resetting system settings but still no luck. Any ideas?

Same here too - Ipad mini keeps dropping wifi connection since recent iOS 7 update. Sometimes it reconnects after 10 seconds or so but often have to go in and seach for networks and get it to pick up there. Really annoying. Have tried all the various things like rebooting roter, ipad etc. and no joy.

Updated to iTunes 7.6 and now i can't connect to the store

I getting an error message saying it timed out. This happened when i first downloaded iTunes 7.5 on my new Vista running computer a month ago but i fixed it by going into Norton and putting iTunes to allow. I went to go do the same thign because maybe it reset but it is still on allow. Can someone please help me.

I posted this in another thread, but read the bottom paragraph.....Even though Norton says allow for iTunes, my was still blocked as well. It's running fine now though since I've cleared out the programs list and rules tab and started over. Norton sets a no TCP rule I couldn't figure out so I cleared them all out.
I disabled only the personal firewall in Norton Internet Security and it connected straight away. When I found out this worked, I tried just allowing the four apple programs the personal firewall monitors and no joy. I will find which program is being blocked, but disabling the entire personal fire wall will work.
BTW, in my case I was getting the connection timed out but the iTunes diagnostics said the connection was fine but never connected to the store successfully
Some how Norton Internet Security set itself to block outbound TCP connections during the upgrade, even though iTunes was still set to allow all connections in and out. I couldn't figure out which rule to change. To get the firewall running again, I had to use the reset botton (in Norton Internet Security) to clear out all the rules and programs and then manually add iTunes with allow all privileges to the program list. CAUTION: until Norton repopulates privileges for other programs, you may need to add them manually.....this includes Internet Explorer or any other browser you may use.

Moved my laptop and now I can't connect to the router

I'm a novice at this - but that didn't stop me from setting up a wireless network - it was very easy, everything went fine and was working great for months. I took the laptop out of the house and used it at another location. When I brought the laptop home again it asked for a password - which do I use the passphrase or Key 1? Connect to your router with a cable and name your network different. "linksys" is the default network name of a Linksys wireless router. Anyone you buys a Linksys router and just plugs it without changing it ends up with it. Maybe another neighbor bought a Linksys router as well. Thus, always rename the network name to something unique so that you can be sure that you connect to your network and not to somebody else's. Because the problem is: when your computer searches for wireless networks it only checks the name of the network. It does not show whether there is only one access point with that name or several. It could be a roaming network where several access points must have the same name or it could be just accident like several people running routers with the default name. Therefore: connect to your router with a cable, open http://192.168.1.1/ and reconfigure the wireless network name (SSID) on the wireless tab to something else. Connect to that network...

I upgraded to 4RC and now I can't connect to the internet at all.

I deleted Firefox, and now even with IE, it won't connect. With Firefox, it was saying something about the proxy settings, now with IE, it says the remote device or resource won't accept the connection. Please help!!
