I received an email that I have unused money from a gift card. I do not have the gift card and now I cannot access the unused money. What do I do? Phone support could not help me.

Customer support on the phone could not help me.
You do not need the card once it's been redeemed. The balance will be tied to your iTunes Store account. Just log into your account on any of your devices and you should be able to see and spend the balance.
There is no telephone support for the iTunes Store, just so you know for future issues. The iTunes Store provides support only via a web form.

I have an old Apple id, created without the email address, and now I cannot access the account
My account got hacked, so I had to change my Apple ID and related info.
My original Apple ID was just my name (not an email address). Now I cannot access the songs and other materials I purchased with that ID.
I cannot recreate the ID because currently IDs must be email addresses.
Any ideas? Someone else posted this question too, but got no feedback. That was over a year ago.You cannot delete an Apple ID, you can only choose not to use it. Also, your @me.com address is associated with this ID and cannot be moved to another ID or be used to create a new ID.
All you could do is create a new ID using a different email address with your name in it. If you do you will have an associated @icloud.com email address. -
I just bought a phone off an individual however they did not remove the device from their icloud, find my iphone etc. so i cannot access the phone since i do not have the password and the person is no where to be found. Is there anything I or apple can do to remove it for me and erase and wipe out the phone so i can activate it?

Help! I installed the wrong firmware and now can't access the camera to change it back!
I have done something silly and wonder if you can help to get me out of a fix. Yesterday I upgraded the firmware of my camera and I can no longer see the camera on the network, even when it is connected by a wired connection. I have tried a hard reset but that has not helped.
I now realise that I have upgraded with firmware via a link from the US website and it is a different firmware version to the UK site. It is also designated as a RoSh version (although I do not understand the significance of this). Presumably US networks are set up differently to EU ones?
I upgraded the firmware from version 1.10 to version 1.25 (RoSh). The European firmware upgrade is designated as version 1.21.
The only way forward that I can see is to find a network that will recognise the camera and then change the firmware back to the European one. Any ideas?Whats the Model number of your Camera. As you have uploaded the wrong firmware of your Camera. I think you can download the Latest firmware from the European website and upgrade the firmware of your Camera using TFTP tool utility.
Go to ftp.linksys.com/pub/network... and download TFTP.exe File on your computer. Once done connect your camera to the Computer and provide a Static IP to your computer.
Double click the tftp.exe file and click run :
For Server- Enter the IP Address of the router that you assigned. By default, the router is 192.168.1.115...
For Password- Enter the password you assigned the camera. By default, the camera’s password is “admin”.
For File- Click the triple “…” button and browse for the .bin firmware file...Click Upgrade button to start upgrading. A progress bar should show up to show the progress.
Once the Upgrade is done press and hold the reset button for 30 seconds...Release the reset button...Unplug the power cable from your camera, wait for 30 seconds and re-connect the power cable...Now re-configure your camera... -

Amazing steps you've done so far! The great news is this is very unlikely an issue with your iPhone.
I've run into a similar issue lately as well. I narrowed it down to one song that was causing 30 songs not to sync. I removed the song from the sync list (unchecked it) and all 29 songs were able to sync.
You may be running into a similar issue. This may be a problem with this version of iTunes, an issue with one song or a group of songs; hard to know for sure. It's important to narrow down and isolate the cause. Most imporantly get that music back on there!
The way to narrow down the casue add just a few songs at a time (even 1, just to get that first sync finished). Manually syncing is what you'll need here.
Plug in your iPhone, on the Summary screen (shows a picture of your iPhone, the iOS version, Restore iPhone....; etc). Under the Options area at the bottom choose to Manually Manage Videos and Music then choose Apply in the lower right. The music that's on your iPhone now should be removed from your iPhone now. You're now able to sync music manually.
The link below explains how to drag the songs from the iTunes library on the computer on to your iPhone which will start the sync. Add just one song just to see if you can get 1 of those hundreds of songs on there. If you can, awesome! Keep adding until you find the song or group of songs that are causing this issue.

Plug your phone into the wall charger for at least 30 minutes...make sure you have a sim card in the phone...then:
Leave the USB cable connected to your computer, but NOT your phone, iTunes running, press & hold the home button while connecting the USB cable to your dock connector, continue holding the home button until you see “Connect to iTunes” on the screen. You may now release the home button. iTunes should now display that it has detected your phone in recovery mode, if not quit and reopen iTunes. If you still don’t see the recovery message repeat these steps again. iTunes will give you the option to restore from a backup or set up as new.
Make sure you have no anti-virus software running or any firewalls...turn all of that stuff off. -

I want to submit an issue with Game Center--itself, directly. I had an account set up that I used to play online games. I changed my appleID and then I no longer could access my game center account. I, apparently, had a new game center account created for me (which is friends with my old account) and now I cannot access my original game center account.
If I can't get access to email apple directly (which seems ridiculously difficult to do), then someone please tell me how to FIX the issue.

Let's say that my old nickname was "user10" and I used the email, "[email protected]" for my apple id. I changed my apple id to "[email protected]" and it changed my game center account to "mynew" and somehow I am friends with my old acct, "user10". I tried getting a password reset for "user10" but I apparently don't know my own birthday, which is possible because I usually give a false one, but the same false one each time. -

Paldeng, thanks for the suggestion. I've done all that. I can connect to the server, but apparently they are not recognizing my ID and password. I can use the server program if I don't go through Mail (using the same ID and password). My mother in another state with another provider has had the same email issue, as also my husband on his laptop who uses the same internet connection I do. His worked fine until we had it repaired at the Apple store and all the original programs reloaded (with the required updates, I assume). We can receive email in Mail, we just cannot send.
I contacted my service provider, and we went over my connections. They said it was not their problem and connected me with Apple, resulting in a charge to me because my warranty is long expired. Apple swears it is not their problem, it is the provider, so here I sit. My son was able to fix my Mom's Mail (she's 97) and got my husband's working also, until mine went out, by tweaking connection descriptions and ports remotely. The thing is, we had not messed with any of those settings, so what changed? I just did not want to bother my son again, as he has many other demands on his time.
Since this fiasco with the Mail v4.6 update, I'm wondering if something else was updated that works well with Lion and Mountain Lion, but does not work well with Snow Leopard and Leopard. I think the problem I had with the Mail update was that my Mail program had been renamed to Mail (original), and therefore was not being recognized by the update. Perhaps they had another tweak in there somewhere that is affecting outgoing mail connections? -
i hooked up my iphone 5 c to my computer to download my photos onto my computer and instead it downloaded all pictures on my computer to my phone and ipad in the photo gallery and now I cannot delete them. please help
Sounds like you synced the photos instead of importing the photos.
In iTunes with your device plugged in, go to the photos tab and uncheck the photos that were synced over, then sync again. This should take the photos from your coputer off the devices leaving just the camera roll.
If you have a Windows computer, go to mycomputer and right click on your device and select import pictures and video. If its a Mac computer, plug in your device and go to iphoto and select import all. -

Be sure to start your iMac using its original grey System Install DVD: Insert that disc and start your Mac while holding the d key. At the Mac OS X Utilities screen select Disk Utility and format the hard disk. Select "Mac OS X Extended (Journaled)".
Then, install OS X.
