I recently changed my e-mail associated with my apple account. when i try to purchase an app, the cue to sign in does not show my new e-mail, but still shows my old e-mail. when I put in my password, it does not work because my password is no longer associated with the old e-mail address. i don't understand why my old e-mail still shows up. Can someone help me?

Get on a computer with iTunes. Click on your email in the iTunes Store, and hit account. Change billing info to None as card type, make sure billing address is correct, and hit done. It will then save, and allow you to make your purchases.

Purchases are tied to the Apple ID they were purchased with. If you use a new ID, you have to buy again.

If the messages says you have a valid Apple ID but not an iCloud ID it's because you are trying to create an iCloud account on a PC. You can only create iCloud account on an iOS device (iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch) running iOS 5 or higher, or on a Mac running OS X Lion (10.7.5) or higher. After creating your account on one of these devices you will then be able to sign into the account using this ID on your PC.

My Iphone 4 is telling me the same thing and I believe I figured out what the problem is. I had some fraudulent charges on my itunes account, so I call my bank and disputed the charges. Right after I did that, I started getting the message "Your apple ID has been disabled." I just realized today that the charges are not fraudulent, they are "in app purchases." One of my daughters downloaded the game Top Girl which is FREE, but in the game Top Girl you use money in the game to purchase things. It just so happens that the money you use to purchase things is real money MY Money!!!. My daughter thought she was using play money in the game and had no idea she was using real money. She spent $106.00 buying stuff. Now I have to call the bank and tell them to release the hold and pay Itunes. I'm hoping this solves the problem.
