I changed my apple ID, now iCloud doesn't see my new ID, but won't accept my old password either.
I tried that now. I was forced to "delete" everything on the cloud, and now I tried signing in exactly as you described, about 45 mins ago, and I'm still waiting for it to actually sign in.

The Itunes store constantly asks me to Improve Apple ID Security by adding three secret questions but won't accept my valid password. I have tried to reset the password, update the billing info and it still won't let me make any purchases.
I have the same problem - it is maddening. I rely on this iPad for work so this is not just an annoyance! The above solutions of changing the appleid on the device or on the website do not work.
The old email address no longer exists - I haven't used it in a year probably and I no longer have the account. I logged into the appleid website and there is no trace of the old email address so there is nothing that can be deleted or changed there. On the iPad there is no trace of the old email address so nothing can be deleted there either. I have updated the iPad software and the same problem comes right back. Every 2 seconds I am asked to log in using the old non-existent email. The device is currently useless.
The only recent change to anything was the addition of an Apple TV device, which was set up using the correct login and password.
Does anyone have any ideas? The iPad has been backed up to the iCloud so presumably it now won't recognize the current iCloud account? So restoring may notbe an option? -
After moving from Canada to the US, getting a new iPhone 5C, and restoring my backup from iCloud, I can't update my apps. I get an error message that my account is not valid in the Canadian App store and I must change to the US store. How do I do that?

Settings > iTunes & App Stores > Apple ID: > View Apple ID > Country/Region.
You must have a verified billing address & be located in the country whose store you are trying to use. -
The App Store said I needed to switch countries so I clicked the button and it switched it for me but now I can't update my apps but when I try to change it through settings it still says the country is the u.s. I don't know what to do to change it back

If you mean you changed your iTunes Store account ID, you can't update any apps purchased under your old account.

My Mac will not allow me to downlode the latest iTunes and now I can not connect my phone and computer. THis is very frustrating! HELP!!!
Get more information about your computer. Go to the Apple in the upper left corner of any window, then "About This Mac". Write down what it says about "version"and report that here. Now continue to "More Info..." Copy and paste the information here, but omit the serial number and Hardware UUID (if present).
Even my 12 year old Mac lets me download the newest iTunes. Of course I can't install it but any computer can download the installer files so we need to know precisely what you are trying and what error messages you are seeing. -
I cant' sync my ipod because it says"The iPod cannot be used because it requires iTunes version 10.6.3 or later. I can't download it because my MAC is version 10.5.8 and it won't accept the newer version of itunes. Any suggestions?

I am unable to update purchases I made with my old email address since I updated my apple account with my new email.
When I try to update an old app I am prompted to put in my password for my old address, therefore it does not recognise the password, and password reminder doesn't work as its not the email in my account anymore.
How can I update these apps or change the email address associated with them?Did you just change your address, or create a new iTunes account? If it is not a new account you will first have to fix the password problem. Email iTunes Store support if you cannot figure out how to resolve the problem. Have you updated your login on the phone, in addition to iTunes on your computer?
To update your iPhone you need to install the latest version of iTunes (10.5). You also need an iPhone 3GS or iPhone 4. The 3G cannot be upgraded beyond 4.2.1. -

I deviated from the instructions by manually deleting all my contacts while in Mobile Me before trying the forced update because it hadn't worked in the past to force transfer the addresses. I thought starting with a clean slate might be a step ahead. Now that clean slate seems permanent.
The gutsy move was to make Mobile Me download the empty address book into my MacPro. My address book went empty until I restored it through the archive I'd saved. It proved the computer and Mobile Me are communicating since it wiped out my address book on my desktop. I restored everything by importing the archive back into the address book. Thankfully that part is fine.
What is not working is for me to get ANY addresses to move back to Mobile Me despite repeated attempts at changing the reset action through the advanced selection of Mobile Me in System Preferences. I've unselected syncing and restarted the computer. I've signed out of MM and signed back in. I've closed the browser and opened it fresh again. I've closed and opened Address Book on the computer. None of those actions make a whit of difference. Mobile Me contacts remains empty when I tell it to replace MM with the contents of my AB on my MacPro.
I see under the gear there is an ability to import vCards. Is there any way to do a batch import? I have almost 700 addresses separated into more than a dozen groups. It will be a mighty tedious process to import them one by one.

I made this account awhile ago, but I just foud some apps I had purchased on my computer so I downloaded them onto my iPad, but they need to be updated and it asks for my prior account information which I do not know. I tried to send a recovery email, but I never recieved it. How can I update my apps or get my password?

My App store updates indicate iMovie needs to be updated. When I try to do so, it tells me I need to sign in with my old Apple ID, the one I had before the change to email addresses. But when I try to sign in with that old ID, it defaults back to the new email-based one. I can't find a way to get it to accept the old ID, so can't update this app for now, and I'm sure others down the road.
