I recently created an account and bought a movie. But any time I press "Play" iTunes freezes and will not respond at all.
I have tried both uninstalling the software and reinstalling it, I have tried to run the software in safemode, and I have tried to change the Quicktime settings to see if that helps.
Nothing has worked. It always does the same thing, where it freezes the moment I tell it to "play".
I have tried to use my other computer instead, going through the same process and I got the exact same result where it freezes.
Therefore it has to be something to do with the software, because the computers use different graphics cards, yet it responds the same.

Also, I suggest paying close attention to the list of programs that you would need to uninstall, in order, so that you can fully uninstall iTunes and all related components from your computer. If those programs and steps are not followed exactly, you may end up with issues using iTunes.

    If not successful then do as you are doing, let the battery fully drain. After charging for at least an hour try again.

    Try rebooting it and connect. Make sure you're connected directly to a USB port using the Apple USB cable.

    Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode and then connect to your computer and restore via iTunes. The iPod will be erased.

    If you restore from iCloud backup the apps will be automatically downloaded. If you restore from iTunes backup the apps and music have to be in the iTunes library since synced media like apps and music are not included in the backup of the iOS device that iTunes makes.

  • My Iphone 5 sometimes is responsive and sometimes will not respond at all! help!

    Sometimes my Iphone works perfectly and then the next minute I can't even unlock it because the touch screen is being so unresponsive.  Then sometimes I unlcok it and then it gets unresponsive again.  Help.  Has anyone else been having this problem?  I Tried factory restoring it and it didn't seem to help.  Also, it seems the longer I leave my phone a lone then the longer it won't act up for.

    I have the same problem since is08 update! Just random crap consistently shuts down, no front camera, bluetooth dropouts, phone slow, phone  freezes, voice mails that are there and can not access, reset email that many times it's way past any sort of funny. This phone used to be awesome with not one single issue until the stupid update which to all you lucky iphoners that have no issues do not have any idea on how frustrating this is nor do you have any right to question a fellow iphoner about details of what is wrong and easy to say yeah just see apple!!! In the real world we are all busy with our own lives hence why the so called smart phone adapts to the individual to give each the personal experience and help us along the way which is all good when working.
    My iphone 5 is or was a very big part of running my business but not now, but as us is08 update users with issues are apparently a minority so apple have told me but as we all know just search and that may not be so true.
    Now don't get me wrong yes apple have addressed my issues after endless efforts to contact and was told phone would be sorted after updates!!! wrong!!!

    Try closing any running instances of ''firefox.exe'' (and plugincontainer.exe) using something such as Task Manager. That should allow you to then restart Firefox.
    As for iLivid. Possibly it also has associated apps or extensions with names not including the word iLivid. Looking at their own FAQs there are instructions to remove iLivid using the Windows Control panel, and mention of other bundled software that you may wish to remove. It seems it is more of a nuisacne rahter than out and out malware.

    The software can be removed in a simple was like any other software:

  • I believe that l made all the right connections to my tv and shared communities onm my computer and apple tv. But l rented "Fair Game" from iTunes Store and when it is downloading it comes with "Error in downloading" do it later. It hasn't after 2 days.

    I am the proud owner of an Apple TV. I made all the right connections (l believe). HDMI to my SONY high def, establishing shared communities. But when l rented a movie from the iTunes Store ("Fair Game") it began to prepare for download when suddenly on my TV screen cames "Error in downloading, try again later. I have been trying for 2 days, and it's always the same message. I'm sure there's a simple explanation, and  l'm just too dense to figure it out.

    yeah I have been putting in a suggestion every few months since the release of apple tv 2.
    still just a sad face for us who would find that useful.
    I keep hoping that the cycnical view is not correct - that they are only interested in updating the cash register part of streaming/rental/channels apple tv, not the user experience of the people who have been loyal customers for years and actually bought stuff.
    so sad.
    If I were not so lazy I would try and do more to push for this - there you go...we don't have it because I am too lazy.

  • The 3D button and option is there but I can't make anything 3D because it will not allow me to click on any of them.

    The 3D dropdown tab is there but I can not actually set up the 3D system for whatever I wish to 3D (as the moment it is text) all the options are there but they aren't clickable.

    Make sure your GPU is enables in you Photoshop Preferences performance tab and the your menu Help>system info Shows OpenGL is enabled.

    - If still not successful that indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

    Launch the Console application in any of the following ways:

    I helped him create a new email address and new iCloud account on my Mac but when we try to register the phone with Apple it says: Maximim accounts limit reached for this device. How can he register the phone? I read different threads and found out that only Apple care can do that. We're in Romania and don't know where to call. Any suggestions on how we fix this?

    When I checked the support site for Romania, you apparently don't have an Apple Care contact center.  You "may" try calling the US Apple care number to verify the account and have the password reset sent to a different email address.  800-694-7466

    Yes it will, just sign out, then sign back in with the correct address.

    Individual computers can only be deauthorised directly on them, so if you no longer have the old desktop the only way to deauthorise it is to log into your account on your computer's iTunes and 'deauthorise all', and then authorise/reauthorise the computers that you still have and need.
