I recently purchased itunes match, but I get the message "The requested URL was not found on this server".
I have had problems with playing music on my Iphone 5 from day 1. I have purchased almost 500 songs in itunes, and only a handful would play. I decided to purchase IMatch, but playing music is even more difficult. It quickly skips through my playlists showing me the artwork/album cover for each song, and will occassionally play a song, but I mostly get the message "The requested URL was not found on this server".
Help Please! I need my music on my phone for 2 hours/day!
Ok, then as long as the videos reside on your PC, do the following:
1) In iTunes on your PC, unsync the music videos (On the Music tab, uncheck "Include Music Videos, and then sync your iPad).
2) Sync the music videos back to the iPad (check that same box again and sync once more).
Does this fix it?

Because the location for each song in your library is on your hard drive. If the hard drive isn't there, how can iTunes play it?
You'll have to move/copy the music from your hard drive to your computer's hard drive.
Basically, EASIEST way to do all this, if you don't care about your play counts, etc...
-Delete EVERYTHING from iTunes, so that your library is now empty.
-Go to "Advanced" inside of the "Preferences" window, found in the "Edit" drop-down. You can also access Preferences by pressing Ctrl+, (Press Ctrl and the comma key)
-Change your iTunes Media Folder Location to something simple, but on your computer. I use C:/iTunes. Make sure "Keep iTunes Media Folder Organized" and "Copy files to...." are both checked. You can close Preferences now.
-Now, drag and drop your music from your hard drive into your iTunes library. iTunes will automatically add the music to your library, as you would expect, and also creates a copy of each file to place into that iTunes Media Folder you just created.

I have downloaded a movie from ITunes. It shows up in my video app. When I go to play it I get an error message: "The requested URL was not found on this server". When I checked back on iTunes, where you click to rent or buy a movie it says "Downloaded". Any advice on what I can do in order to watch this movie that I rented a couple of weeks ago?

Problem with Home Sharing. Getting the error "The Requested URL was not Found on this Server"
I recently purchased an iPhone 5. As I do with all of my AppleTVs, iPads, iPods and an iPhone 4 in my home, I connected the 5 to my home network and accessed the shared video library using home sharing. My iTunes library is roughly 85% iTunes purchases, a handful of videos taken with iOS devices, and some video ripped with Handbrake. All of these videos work fine on all devices in my home except my new iPhone 5. When I access the shared video library on my iPhone 5, all of the textual data for all of the videos appears, however, I can only get the iPhone to play 1 video of the dozens in my iTunes library. When I try to play any other, I get the error, "The Requested URL was not Found on this Server."
Interestingly, only one video in my entire shared library displays the artwork associated with it in my iTunes library on my iPhone 5, and that's the one I can stream without a problem. Even more interestingly, that video I am able to stream was ripped using Handbrake (there are a number in my library ripped using Handbrake, but just this one will stream to my iPhone 5 for some reason).
I'm using the latest version of iTunes (10.7) on my home (iMac) computer (running OSX 10.8.2- Mountain Lion)and of course iOS 6 on the iPhone 5. I've tried resetting my iPhone several times as well as restarting my iMac which holds my iTunes library.
Does anyone have any ideas as to what's going on?Can you see if you can view index page from a browser on iPhone.
Have you seen live streams working from a different computer...
if not then check if a proper crossdomain.xml file in its place(webroot folder). -

I had a similar problem with a tv show. I contacted Apple Support and got the following instructions:
"please delete the episode from your iPad and then redownload it directly to the device. You can download past tv show, app, music, and book purchases without incurring additional charges as long as what you want to download is showing on your Purchased page. Some content may not be available for download again if its provider no longer offers it on the iTunes Store, App Store, or iBookstore.
To enable this feature, you must have the latest version of iTunes. It is available on the Apple website:

The latest version of iTunes will not affect your library or any items in your account.

I get a "the requested URL was not found on this server" when trying to play a song in my iphone
I have a new iphone5 and after synking my songs and musice. I get a "The requested URL was not found on this server" when I click on a song or a music video. It is almost like itunes did not copy my songs from my account to the new iphone.
I was having the same problems with my movies and tv shows. I unchecked them, then rechecked them, and synced all them again. Presto! They are all working again. Thank you.

I had the same problem with the black blocks after upgrading to iOS4 on my iPhone. The reason for the black blocks is that the thumbnail images for those particular images have not been created when the Photo Library has been updated to iOS4. I followed the advice on a couple of blogs and fixed the problem.
1. I downloaded iPhone Explorer free software (http://www.macroplant.com/iphoneexplorer/) so I could view the photo data folders on my phone. I could see that the thumbnail images were missing.
2. I followed a slight variation on the instructions on this blog. (http://blog.mbentley.net/2010/06/iphone-ios-4-upgrade-restore-lost-pictures-in-c amera-roll/)
3. First I copied the Photo Data folder by dragging it from the iPhone Explorer window to my Mac desktop.
4. Through iPhone Explorer I deleted the info.plist file in the Media/PhotoData/MISC folder.
5. I also deleted the Photos.sqlite and PhotosAux.sqlite files in Media/PhotoData.
6. I then rebooted the phone and launched the Photo Library.
7. The Library rebuilt it's self again and recreated the thumbnails.
8. The problem was fixed!!! Thank you M Bentley!

Music video that I PURCHASED says the requested url was not found on this server...***?
When I go to play music videos that I PURCHASED from iTunes I get a pop-up that says "The reuested URL was not found on this server" so I have to go to friggin' iTunes and remove and readd all of my music videos. I bought the ipod (Touvh 4G) about a month ago and the idiots say that it's out of warranty so I have to pay more money to the pirates to get an answer. Is there something I can do to keep this crap from happening?

For some reason, I cannot watch a video I recorded on my iPhone. I can see the first frame of it in the gallery, but when I click on it, I get the error that the requested URL could not be found on this server. Why would that display, if the file is on my iPhone? I'm not using iCloud to back up photos,, but I do have Photo Streaming enabled. Is there any way to get to this video? I don;t want to lose it, as it was a priceless moment.

I bought a few songs and music videos from iTunes, then all of a sudden it wouldn't play and would just skip to the next song. With the music videos it would do the same. Also, this message would show up " The Requested URL could not be found on this server" What does that exactly mean? And what do I need to do to play my music/videos again?

After a 'fresh' upload I get this message: The requested URL /terpsichoresmentor/Welcome.html was not found on this server. I tried both Cyberduck and Go Daddy - same result. (I've used Cyberduck in the past successfully) Both Firefox and Safari give me this message. Called Go Daddy and tech support told me that he could view my website and that this is a problem within my browsers. I cleared the private data in Firefox to no avail. Have done nothing in Safari (yet). Any ideas? Thanks in advance. - peggy

Whatever the cause, what you have posted clearly indicates that the name of the topmost page of your site somehow got changed from Welcome to welcome_.
Plus you have your site at another url:

This indicates that you uploaded it twice, once with the folder called "terpsichoresmentor" and once without it. -
I am trying to get itunes to burn a disc on a Samsung external drive but I get a message disc burner or software not found. Itunes 11.1.5.5 does recognize a bought disc in the drive.
Try HT203242: iTunes for Windows: Optical drive is no longer recognized, or "Disc burner or software not found" alert after install.
