I recently purchased the film Inside man of my ipad my mac is set up to back up everything from my ipad to the mac. i had to reboot my ipad due to technical issues but couldnt download it again nor find it how do i get it back without rebuying it?

before rebooting the ipad itunes asked if i wanted to back it all up which i clicked yes to so why didnt it back up my films?

Backing up saves your data to the backup. You need to transfer your purchases before you sync or backup if you want to preserve the new content that you have acquired directly to the iPad. If you are now in the US then you can only use the US store, so you should update the address on your account

Had you copied the songs over to your computer's iTunes library, do they show in the Music section on it ? You can copy purchases that you still have on your iPad over to your computer's iTunes library via the File > Devices > Transfer Purchases menu option

What do you mean " back up my photos or Apps"?
The photo sync is one way - computer to ipad.
You can transfer itunes purchases. Without syncing: File>Transfer Purchases
Copy everything from your backup copy of your old computer to your new one.

They will only be where you put them If you are doing the very basics, then they will be on your computer and they will be in your backup copy of your computer.
The itunes store is not global at all, never has been. You cannot redownload your content from another country. You can only use the countrys itunes store for the country that you are physically located.

If you have deleted all the photos from your iPhone you can't get them back. The only place they might exist is if you backed them up to iPhoto if you have a Mac. If you have iCloud and Photo Steam enabled, then the last 100 photos would be saved in your Photo Stream.

I purchased music direct via my iPhone but when I synced with iTunes some of my albums were missing. What is also weird is that the digital booklets have synced but I can't find the songs. How do I get them back?
I know that Apple has a policy to not downloading twice but I honestly don't know what I'm doing wrong. I'm not all that confident either so would really appreciate the help.

Purchases made on the Apple TV will be downloaded to the Apple TV, after which they will be transferred to the iTunes library on your computer. If they are not on the Apple TV, they should be in iTunes.
There are only 3 ways purchases will be removed from the Apple TV.
i) transferred to iTunes as explained hereinbefore.
ii) deleted as a result of selecting the trash can icon on the RHS of the content on the Apple TV.
iii) deleted in the process of a factory restore.

You cannot delete that icon. More than likely it's just been moved to another page. You can use Spotlight to search for it if necessary.

Not for the iPhone. Go to Safari, go to maps.google.com, then add the bookmark to the desktop and you have most of what was in the native Google Maps app.

I've lost my iDisk icon from the sidebar in Finder! How do I get it back?

I wanted to put the icon into the dock (or at least on my desktop) But when I dragged it over, it disappeared in a cloud and "poof" it was gone!
Later, when I checked under Devices in the Finder, the iDisk is no longer there. *HOW CAN I GET IT BACK?*
As far as I know, I can sync to the iDisk, but without the icon, I can no longer drag-and-drop my files to it.
Anyone have any solutions on how I can return the iDisk icon to the Devices list on the Finder? or at least still be able to drag-and-drop my files to it?

My add-ons disappeared from my toolbar when I downloaded Firefox 17 for AOL. How can I get them back on my toolbar?

I can find all of my add-ons when I click on the Firefox icon on the upper left of my screen and click on add-ons, but they no longer appear on my toolbar where I can click on them and use them with the file I'm working in. They are useless to me now. I disabled the AOL toolbar for one session and the add-ons didn't show up. When I click on the edit buttion on the AOL toolbar, I don't see where I can add the Firefox add-ons. How can I get them back onto my toolbar?
