I recently updated Adobe Flash and Adobe Shockwave, now Firefox will not load. I have uninstalled and reinstalled and still nothing. Help
Firefox never opens. It is trying but nothing seems to change, no matter how much time is allowed.
A possible cause is security software (firewall) that blocks or restricts Firefox or the plugin-container process without informing you, possibly after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox program.
Remove all rules for Firefox from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full unrestricted access to internet for Firefox and the plugin-container process and the updater process.

I did an update and now Firefox will not load.

Safari will not load! Have uninstalled/reinstalled and still won't work
Hi everyone
I thought it would be a great idea to download AcidSearch so I could use Google (UK) in Safari. Unfortunately my Safari will now not load at all! I have deleted the SIMBL folders and also any reference to AcidSearch and still it won't work. I have also uninstalled and reinstalled Safari with no joy, and also even tried reinstalling AcidSearch.

BrianHi Johnynutz, <br/>First of all try to check that security software is not blocking Firefox. A new version may not be recognised, and in these circumstances before attempting to start Firefox always check in Task Manager that no instance of Firefox.exe or plugincontainer is left running.
Next It is probably worth seeing if you can open the Firefox profile manager, if so you may create a new profile for Firefox and try to restart it with that new profile. Standard reinstalls do not remove the profile (do NOT attempt profile removal unless you have backed it up)

If that fails then it is necessary to re-install firefox, and this time use a clean re-install. Note it is the program files that are being removed NOT the profile files. Do not use any option from Windows or Firefox that removes personal information, because that will destroy bookmarks and passwords etc.

Try starting the new install with your original default profile,and the newly created one.

Am using Windows 7 on Gateway DX4200-09.Am working with internet provider. May need to replace modem (it's a router/modem combination). Tricky part is that the other two browsers function fairly well. Just Firefox is dead in the water, refusing to even show its opening page. :(

When I double click on the AA9 icon to initiate installation, it whirls away for a while then asks if I want to allow "this program to make changes to his computer?" I click Yes and it begins to process again for a few minutes. Then it displays the following Invalid Unicode file error message...and simply stops processing or installing. In that last process, it also reaches out for whatever reason and activates the magnifier tool in Windows.
I have thought that perhaps upgrading to a higher version of Windows might help, but who knows for sure?
P.S. – This is a brand new HP Pavilion dv6 series computer that is more than adequate to this task.

Been with tech support for HOURS, reloaded several times.
On Windows 7 with 64 bit computer. NVIDIA 3-D graphics card (plenty of ram, etc)

Are you following these instructions.
Remove ALL cables from Apple TV. (if you don't you will not see Apple TV in the iTunes Source list)
Connect the micro USB cable to the Apple TV and to your computer.
Reconnect the power cable (only for Apple TV 3)
Open iTunes.
Select your Apple TV in the Source list, and then click Restore. -
Just downloaded new update 7/.1 and now firefox will not connect
Just downloaded the latest update 7.0.1. Restarted computer now firefox will not cponnect. IE will Thinderbird will. Turned off firewall and tried no luck so not firewall blocking it

I uninstalled Beta 4 and re-installed 3.6.13 now Firefox will not open at all I tried to uninstall to start again but it will not uninstall either it does nothing, I have been using Firefox for a long time but cannot resolve this problem can anyone help and give me a solution please. Because downgrading is unsupported by Apple we cannot discuss it on these forums, but you can use Google to find information on how to install an older version of iOS on any device.

* It is important to delete the Firefox program folder to remove all the files and make sure that there are no problems with files that were leftover after uninstalling.
