I recently upgrated to latest Firefox 7.0.1. I am getting Corrupted Content Error trying to load pages on certain web sites. Try again works but not the initial attempt. Is there a fix for this.

This frequently happens with I select an article in an email from New York and it tries to load that article from http://www.nytimes.com/. It also happens when I select the URL below. I tried Internet Explorer with the URL below and did not experience the problem.

Do you really mean the latest, as in 11.0.1? That was supposed to include a fix for Airplay.

After updating to FF 5.0.1, FF no longer will show a web site forum thread as read after reading it. Is there a fix for this?

When using FF 3.8 and viewing a list of unread posts on a forum, I can select a post, read it and then return to the list of unread posts where the one that I have read now shows that it has been read while the others remain unread.
This no longer happens with FF 5.0.1. When returning to the list they all still show as being unread. This is determined by the 'title' being accented or highlighted in bold for an unread and not being in bold when read.
This is kind of annoying particularly when a post was made and it does not show on the returned list either.

I have just updated to Lion and now my folders no longer show number of items on the bottom. Is there a fix for this?

Now I have to click on an icon on the top, This is a backward step if that is now the only way to see the number of items. Am I missing something obvious?

In the good old days of Snow Leopard, an open Finder folder had a border along the bottom of the window which could show the number of items in that window and the total available space on the hard disk or partition that folder resides on. That bottom border is gone in Lion and those two bits of information are gone with it. Is that what you're talking about? If so, I'd like to learn how to get it back too and "Show Item Info" is not the way.

I am having a similar problem. I have over 4000 songs giving me this error. I certainily don't want to go in one by one and find them. I know you wrote a script for Windows but I am a Mac user. Is there a fix for me? Here is the info on where the song is currently (used by doing the get info)

Try a Reset...
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears. Release the Buttons.
If no joy... Try a Restore...
1: Connect the device to your computer and open iTunes.
2: If the device appears in iTunes, select and click Restore on the Summary pane.
3: If the device doesn't appear in iTunes, try using the steps in this article to force the device into recovery mode.

Could you try disabling graphics hardware acceleration? (I'm having trouble determining from your "More system information" whether it's enabled or disabled.) Since this feature was added to Firefox, it has gradually improved, but there still are a few glitches.
You usually need to restart Firefox in order for this to take effect, so save all work first (e.g., mail you are composing, online documents you're editing, etc.).

Since I set Chrome as my default browser, it continuously crashes. I've done a reset and re-install before, but i find it easier if I just leave safari as default and use chrome. Does anyone have a better workaround?

Do you mean names and passwords in the Password Manager or do you mean that you are no longer logged on to (remembered by) websites after closing and restarting Firefox?
If Firefox doesn't offer to store passwords in the Password Manager then check that you aren't running Firefox in [[Private Browsing]] mode.
Websites remembering you and automatically log you in is stored in a cookie.
* Create an allow cookie exception (Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: Exceptions) to keep such a cookie, especially for secure websites and if cookies expire when Firefox is closed.
* In [[Private Browsing]] mode all cookies are session cookies that expire if that session is ended, so websites won't remember you.
* Do not use [[Clear Recent History]] to clear the "Cookies" and the "Site Preferences"
Clearing "Site Preferences" clears all exceptions for cookies, images, pop-up windows, software installation, and passwords.
