I rented a movie from iTunes on my apple tv, can I watch this rental on another apple tv that's on the same network and under the same account?

I would like to rent a movie from iTunes on one of my apple tv's and would like to know if I can watch that movie rental on another apple tv on the same network. I used to rent movies on my Mac and was able to watch on different apple tv through home-sharing.

I have purchased a tv series and rented a movie from iTunes. I cannot find where either have downloaded on my Macs (laptop or desktop) or iPod. Perhaps I have overloaded the capability to download?

The TV series, "Turn" has partially downloaded. I paused the download process in order to rent the movie "lego story"
I cannot find the movie, but I believe I have been charged for it. In my library, I have episodes 101, 102, 9, & 11-16 of the "Turn" series.

The film should have downloaded into the Movies part of the iTunes library on the computer that you bought it on (is the a 'rentals' tab on that part of your library with the film in it ?). Does it show in the Purchase history on your account : log into your account on your computer's iTunes via the Store > View Account menu option, you should then see a Purchase History section with a 'see all' link to the right of it, click on that and you should then see a list of your purchases (the most recent purchase is above the list).
If it shows in your history but not your library then does the Store > Check For Available Downloads menu option download it, and/or do the TV shows show in the Purchased link under Quick Links on the right-hand side of the iTunes store homepage for downloading ?

That won't be possible. You can only view a rental on the device used to do so, unless it is done via computer (in which case you can stream using home sharing)

I am trying to rent a movie from iTunes on my Macbook Pro but when I click on the gray rent movie button it does NOTHING, like I never clicked on it. I am signed in, I authorized the computer and have rented movies in the past. You can but the method varies depending on the Apple TV that you have.

To rent movies from the iTunes Store on your computer
In iTunes on your computer, click iTunes Store.
In the iTunes Store, find a movie you want to rent.
Click Rent. Your rental should begin to download immediately.
Once the rental is downloaded, you can watch it on your computer or transfer the rental to a supported iPod, iPhone, iPad, or Apple TV (1st generation):
Connect the device and select it in iTunes.
Click the Movies button.
Select the movie, and then click Move.
After all movies have been moved, click Apply in the lower-right corner of iTunes.
You must be connected to the Internet to transfer a rented movie.
If you have Apple TV 2nd gen. or later you can use Airplay to play it on your tv through the Apple TV.

Inquiries to the iTunes Store have yielded only the following explanation:
"Due to tax laws and commerce restrictions for software in Canada, customers residing in Canada may only purchase games and applications using a credit card."
What these "laws/restrictions" might be have never been identified.
Can I somehow exchange the giftcards that I have for App gift cards?
There are no "app gift cards". Again, you can only use a credit card to purchase software in the Canadian iTunes Store.
Problem is I don't have a credit card to purchase the apps.
Perhaps you could obtain one of the "prepaid" credit cards some banks offer. If not, then the only way you'll be able to buy apps is to get someone to allow you to use their credit card.

I rented a movie from iTunes and now it's not working

I rented a movie from iTunes on my iPad and it started downloading. For some reason it stopped. The movie is showing up in the video app but when I hit play or the download cloud it tells me I have rented the movie but have not downloaded it. I go back to iTunes and the download section is gone. I go back to the movie, where you can buy or rent, and it says watch....which if clicked on takes me back to videos. And then it again tells me I have rented the movie but have not downloaded it and to go to Downloads to manage my downloads. THERE IS NO DOWNLOAD SECTION OR OPTION IN ITUNES....IT IS GONE!! I have closed iTunes and restarted my iPad several times and am still having the same issue. I have rented movies in the past with no issues. I have NO IDEA what is going on and am very very frustrated. Hopefully someone can help.

I would ask iTunes Store support for help with this. You may never be able to get the movie to download on your own now.
Go here and then tap on Connecting and downloading, then tap on Movie Rentals. You can have someone contact you, you can chat online or you can get email support. I would opt for the phone call or online chat.

It's not normal, presuming that the movie downloaded completely, but it has come up from time to time. I've not been able to figure out from the various posts why rentals work for most but in some cases insist on a connection to the iTunes store. Go here:

Once the movie or TV show downloads from the iTunes Store from over the Internet via Wifi, you should be able to watch it without needing any WiFi connection.
Try this by completely downloading a movie to your iDevice, turn off Wifi in the iOS Settings app, then try playing the movie.
