I rented and downloaded a movie from iTunes and when i click to play it it shows me a message saying ''We could not complete your iTunes Store request, an unknown error has occurred (5103)'' What can I do ?

and in small letters they have added, "there was an error in the iTunes Store, please try again later".
This has been going on all day, please help !

This alert is related to iTunes Store movie rentals and authorization issues.
Make sure you are using the most recent version of iTunes and QuickTime. They both can be downloaded free of charge.
If your iTunes is up to date, remove the SC Info folder.

Have been able to resolve this issue?... I have just exeperienced it and not happy that I can't resolve it.

ITunes could not connect to music store. An Unknown error has occurred.

I get the above message when I try to log into the ITune store. The error code that I get is -9813. My password is current and my account is current and I followed all of the other suggestions such as:
1. Resetting the date and clock on the computer.
2. I replaced the mother board battery so I won't be affected by the above problem.
3. Unplug the modem and the router then start the computer back up to make sure that there are no problems with these two items.
4. I am running the latest version of iTunes 6.0.5
5. I can log in from another MAC (power book) using my account so it isn't the ISP blocking me from phobos.apple.com
So far this has been happening for a few days and is very frustrating. Any ideas will be appreciated. I will also check with the Genius bar at the local apple store to see if they have any ideas.

Hi All,
I had this problem today myself, and was frustrated repeatedly by the '4002' error.
I have literally just fixed the issue by doing the following steps:
1: Go to the 'Store' tab and select 'Turn Off iTunes Match'
2: Return to the 'Store' tab and select 'Update Genius'
3: Wait for this to complete succesfully, the return to the 'Store' tab once more and select 'Turn On iTunes Match'.
4: iTunes Match will now go through the motions and should succeed!
