Are you referring to photos that are backed up or photos in photostream.

    Hi,
You music is not in your iCloud account, it is in iTunes in the Cloud. Whether you use iCloud personally or not, it will not have an effect on the iTunes in the Cloud functionality. If you are using iTunes, then all of your purchases through iTunes will use iTunes in the Cloud as a backup for your purchases.

Camera roll photos may take a while to repopulate your new phone, are you sure you have given it long enough.

  • How do I get my music library from icloud to my computer so I can synch to my new iPod?

How do I get my music library from icloud to my computer so I can synch to my new iPod?  I can't seem to find help support to answer this question.

Copy the media from the old computer to the new computer.
iDevices are not and have never been backup devices.

  • I got a MacBook Pro for the first time and just install iTunes.... how to I get my purchased songs from my Windows 7 to my new MacBook Pro

I got a MacBook Pro for the first time and just install iTunes.... how to I get my purchased songs from my Windows 7 to my new MacBook Pro..... please try to make it easier for me since im new to the Mac OS

    1) Copy all music files to a thumb drive / external hard drive.
    2) Open iTunes on your MacBook Pro (congrats!)
    3) Under the File Menu, select "Add to Library."  Navigate to the folder with your music in it and click "Open."  Bam!  Music.

  • My old laptop crashed, how do I get music and pictures from ipod touch (2nd generation) to new laptop?

My old laptop crashed.  I bought a new one, but when I loaded itunes and plugged in my ipad 2, it only added the songs that were purchased in the itunes store.  I upgraded my os to 5.0 and it deleted all of my songs, a lot of my apps, and all of my pictures except for the ones on the camera roll.  I have these pictures and songs on my itouch 2nd generation but I can't get it to synch with the new computer.  All of the solutions I have seen online don't work.  I can't upgrade to the newest operating system because it is only 2nd generation. I tried turning on Home sharing and saving to the cloud, but I can't get it to work on the itouch.  Please help!

I don't have a backup copy of my old computer.  I bought an external hard drive and it said it backed up, but when I plugged it into my new computer, it was empty.  My old computer is not accessible.  Is there a way to get the music and pictures that are on my iphone and ipod onto my itunes account on the new computer? I have already lost them on my ipad.

  • Can I get old iPhoto pictures to iCloud?

Is there a way to have iCloud sync pictures in iPhoto that are older, i.e., not taken in the last 30 days?

    No.
Because that's not a feature of either iCloud or iPhoto.
There is no alternative. Any folks who have tried running a Library from the cloud find that it is appallingly slow and there is a very high risk of data corruption as the online servers haven't a clue how to deal with the library.
Use an external disk formatted Mac OS Extended (Journaled)
    Okay?

  • HT4859 how do i get all my data from icloud downloaded on my new phone?

i broke my iphone 4 and i want all my contacts and photos on my new phone or atleast on verizon so that i can see them. is there any way for this?

If your new phone is an iPhone, just set up the same iCloud account on it in Settings>iCloud, then turn iCloud syncing for contacts, etc. to On (when prompted, choose Merge) as well as photo stream.

  • How can I delete old, incorrect contacts from iCloud?

There are hidden duplicates in my iCloud contacts - old ones for contacts where I've updated info. They don't show up in the regular contacts list ("all contacts"), yet they always show up when I enter a name into an email address and in iPhoto's Faces names. I can't change them to the correct names in iPhoto. And I can't find them to delete the old data.
Anyone know where these are stored (old contact data that's been deleted or updated)? And, how can I access that place?
    Thank you.

    Well.....
After an incredible amount of research on this issue, I discovered it's not new. In fact, there have been many complaints about it with no action (to date) by Apple. Here's what's happening...
On iOS devices (iPad, iPhone), when an email is received or an email address is changed, IN THE EMAIL APP, a cache is formed with all the "received email addresses." These - right/wrong/incorrect/whatever are stored and pop up when you enter an email recipient. THERE IS NO WAY TO DELETE THESE ON iDEVICES.
However, if you have a Mac, it's an easy cure -
Open Mail > Windows > Previous recipients > select those you want out (or all, for that matter - doesn't affect the Contacts list) > Remove.
Too bad Apple hasn't seen fit to add this to its iOS functionality. Maybe if enough complaints are received, it might show up in iOS6 ?????

  • I recently had to get a new iphone 5 and my notes and contacts downloaded from icloud but my apps didn't so they told me to get them from itunes - except that itunes overroad my notes with older ones - how can I get just my notes from icloud?

    - My computer does not communicate with icloud

You must have notes synch turned on your iPhone:

  • How do I get rid of songs from iCloud?

I got rid of an album in my phone just because I got tired of listening to it. A few weeks later the album suddenly shows up on shuffle and it has a cloud symbol next to it. I didn't add it back to my phone and it wont let me delete it normally. How can I delete it?

If you're talking about itunes Match,
Try posting in the iTunes Match forum, you'll probably find more knowledgeable folks there.

  • How do I get old ipod music on new one

I have an older iPod Touch and lots of music from old CDs I had and some downloaded music purchased from iTunes, but it won't show up on my new 5th gen iPod touch.  Any suggestions?

See the following from getting the media to your computer. Then sync them to your new iPod

  • I use the "Bootcamp" on my Mac to work between Mac and Windows. How do I get my iTunes music from the Mac side of my hard drive to the Windows side?

I use my "Bootcamp" harddrive to work on both the Mac side and Windows7 side of my computer. How do I get my Itunes Library from the Mac side to the Windows side of my Mac Book Pro?

Time Capsule is for backing up your data. It's not really a solution for live file storage; using it will not reduce the bloat of your boot volume.
If you have a lot of movies, music, etc. in your iTunes Library, that can be a good thing to move to an external drive. Here's how:
    http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1449
After you follow those instructions to copy your media over to the external drive and point iTunes to it, you can delete it from your internal drive.
