I reset all the settings last night, now I cant get any icons up, plus I'm on a local computer that cant download itunes, anyone know how i can get my screen back to normal? All it shows is the itunes sybol with the usb cord connecting to it.

Your only option at this point is to connect the device to a computer running iTunes so you can restore it.

Your WiFi/Bluetooth chip has failed. Bring the phone (and $199 if outside the warranty period) to Apple for replaceement.

You cannot delete that icon. More than likely it's just been moved to another page. You can use Spotlight to search for it if necessary.

10.9 is free, so you could upgrade to that if you wished
if that's not an option for software compatibility reasons, you'd either need to re-install it from the original disks (that came with the computer, or a seperate iLife disc), a backup, or purchase a boxed version from someplace like eBay or Amazon (Amazon has iLife '11 for $39) -
I accidently deleted Safari and now I can't reinstall because it keeps telling me there is a newer version on my computer. The issue is my system does not support the newer version. Does anyone know how I can get around this?

I believe you may be referring to the $49 ASL agreement at AppleCare? That is only when/if you are out of AppleCare Protection.
Can you get to an AppleStore Genius Bar?
They may be able to fix this for you. No charge.
I highly doubt that. There is a $70 charge for troubleshooing software issues, EVEN IF there is AppleCare Warranty on the hardware.
However, since there is no charge for an appointment at a Bar, go make one, and see what options they give you. Let us know how it goes. -

Does anyone know how i can get the older versions of the ipod software on my nano because my nano had a feature that when i held down the menu button for a couple of seconds, the backlight turned on.......well ever since i downloaded the most recent software, everytime i hold down the menu button, it goes directly to the menu(which im not very enthusiastic about). Can anyone please help me if you can? I appreciate your help=)
i agree with you 100%, i really want that feature back! it was so useful being able to turn the backlight on and off whenever i wanted. unfortunately im in the same boat as you are as i dont know how to get the old software

Forgotten Restrictions Passcode Help
You will need to restore your device as New to remove a Restrictions passcode. Go through the normal process to restore your device, but when you see the options to restore as New or from a backup, be sure to choose New.

I purchased a $25 gift card for iTunes several weeks ago. Went to use it tonight, and when I scratched off the code it was completely unreadable. I'm not impressed at having wasted $25. Nor am I impressed with the lack of helpful information on the Apple/itunes website--there seems to be no way to directly contact them to either complain or ask for assistance.
Does anyone know if you can get them to refund the money or provide a new code or card or whatever? I no longer have the receipt from the store where I purchased the card, so I can't take it to them and beg for a replacement. Besides, the problem lies with a shoddy product, not the store that sold it.
