I reset my IPod because there were gray lines down the screen, and now the screen is flickering, any ideas?

Try:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost (not sure which reset you did)
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Restore from backup. See:

- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
- Make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem.

You'll need to connect it to the iTunes library you normally sync it with and restore it. If iTunes asks you for this passcode before it will let you proceed, connect the iPod to iTunes in recovery mode instead using the instructions in this Apple support document.

Make sure you have the Current Version of iTunes Installed on your computer

You may need to try this More than Once... Be sure to Follow ALL the Steps...
Take your time... Pay particular attention to Steps 3 and 4.
After you have Recovered your Device...Re-Sync your Content
Note:
To remove a forgotten Restrictions passcode you will need to Restore the Device as New...
OR... From a Backup created Before the Restrictions Code was set....

After a Installation from Windows 8.1/windows 7 everything works fine. For example Install updates and Software. If I connect the first time a remotefx card i can use RDP as well. But if i restart the host I get the mentioned error. What can I do. These
Hosts are not in a domain configuration. I tried it too but there was no difference. I didn't discovered any errors in the eventlog, too. Only an actviex error. But same errors occurs with a succsefull rdp session.
Also strange is if i start the vm without a remotefx card it works fine again. Only session with a Remotefx card aren't possible anymore.
Is there a bug or something. I tried it many times with the same error.
Maybe someone can help me.

Thank you for posting in Windows Server Forum.
For a workaround, please try to perform the two steps.
1. Do NOT enable RDP 8 on the Windows 7 SP1 VM. You should install RDP 8 and update the ICs though.
2. Change the connection setting on the client from "Automatically detect" to "LAN"

My pc didn't create a backup before updating software so I can't revert back to ios 4.3.5 from there, where can I download ios 4.3.5 from?

I tried just about everything and finally brought my Ipod touch to the apple store. The tech installed ios 4.3.5 but still no WIFI. He recommended a $149 exchange - not really a bad deal with a new battery and 90 day warranty, but I thought I'd try again.
The "solution" was bizarre. On YouTube was a fix involving taking the motherboard out and heating the wifi components with a heat gun.
I did not like that idea, but another involved turning it off, putting it in the freezer for five minutes and restarting. It worked! I must admit the fix does not work reliably, so I may still go for the exchange. Still, I am now convinced that it is a hardware problem. i remember back in the old days, TV repairmen sprayed a suspected bad resistor with Freon. The chilled component would work long enough to identify what needed replacement. Perhaps something similar is happening here.
For anyone wanting to try this, I found it more convenient to place the back of my ipod on a frozen cold pack until the wifi is restored. It seems to happen when condensation forms on the face. I used a towel to wipe off the moisture so as not to add to the problem.

I was updating my iPod touch to 4.2.5 when an error occurred and now my iPod is not recognized by my computer or under devices in iTunes. My iPod is also stuck on a screen saying to connect to iTunes. I tried resetting my iPod and it did not work.

Have you tried a hard reset of your iPod yet? To do this, press and hold both the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons together long enough for the Apple logo to appear.
If that doesn't work, are you still connected to a network? Either way try connecting to a different one and downloading another FREE app to see if that helps.

What model iPod do you have? If yo have a 2G iPod. many developers when they updated their apps to support iOS 5 and 6 dropped compatibility for iOS 4.2.1 and earlier.

The reason i asked this question is because i have been wondering this a lot ever since i got an exchange on this ipod (and ive only had it for a few weeks now) because my last ipod had a lot of problems. so after i restored my ipod with my computer/itunes, i downloaded apps that i wanted, and then when i went to the storage to see how much storage was left, it said 0 bytes. i was freaking out because i didnt know how that could be, i mean, cause like, that is impossible when i just 'purchased' it, that the space was full but i looked and all my pictures were on this ipod and i already put them on my computer so i dont need them anymore thats why i wanna reset it now so there is nothing on it so i can have more space for stuff to do and download on it.
it is updated to iOS 8 but that happened when i purchased it, so i didnt have a choice to update it even though i didnt want to update to iOS 8...

Hey Sierra, You can do just what you have stated. My question, what is your "other"? If it is over 1.5 GB you most likely have corrupt files. Doing a Restore to New, Factory restore should correct it. Just make sure you make a full backup of all information on your iPod to your computer before you restore, so you don't lose your stuff, contacts, videos, pictures, non-iTunes music, etc, use the cable and connect with your computer. Then, via cable, connect to your computer, run the Restore to new, don't use your backup. Treat this iPod as if it was your first one ever. When restore is done, set up and add what info you wish to install on this iPod. The music apps etc you purchased should be on your computer, if not you should be able to retrieve purchased apps and music from iTunes. Any music, videos, apps not purchased from iTunes will be lost to you if you do not save them to your computer or the cloud first. When your done, make a current Backup and you should good to go. - If you previously turned on FIndMyiPod on the iPod in Settings>iCloud and wifi is on and connected go to iCloud: Find My iPhone, sign in and go to FIndMyiPhone. If the iPod has been restored it will never show up.

- If not shown, then you will have to use the old fashioned way, like if you lost a wallet or purse.
- Change the passwords for all accounts used on the iPod and report to police
- There is no way to prevent someone from restoring the iPod (it erases it) using it unless you had iOS 7 on the device. With iOS 7, one has to enter the Apple ID and password to restore the device.
