I saved images from an imessage. Now when I open Imessage, the pictures are displayed on the screen. When I click on "done" the images do not go away.
Therefore, I cannot send a message.
Quit the app completely and try again. Go to the home screen first by tapping the home button. Double tap the home button and the task bar will appear with all of your recent/open apps displayed at the bottom. Tap and hold down on any app icon until it begins to wiggle. Tap the minus sign in the upper left corner of the app that you want to close. Tap the home button or anywhere above the task bar.
Or try this.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.

When you set up a voicemail redirection, usually you have to remove that redirection from the account that redirected it. Like Google Voice, if you activate Google Voice to receive your voicemail, you will have to log into voice.google.com to turn it off. If you contact your carrier, they can tell you exactly what program has taken over your voicemail functionality just in case you are stuck, but if you know the name of that App, I'm sure you will be able to figure it out. Hope this helps you out.

My granddaughter put the Start Up Disk in the drive inadvertently and now the drive will not eject it or start up using the HD. I have tried all of the suggestions for opening it that appear in the manual. Help? It is her computer, a iMac G3 or G4 with superdrive, the one with the ball shaped base. Thank you.
It's a tray loading drive, there should be a little hole next to it, just large enough for a paper clip. Stick the end of the paper clip in it and the tray should open.

My ipad will has a pop-up that will not go away when I click ok, and makes it completely impossible to use the ipad. The pop-up says "iCloud Backup: This ipad has not been backed up in 6 weeks. Backups happen when this ipad is plugged in, locked, and connected to Wifi." I do not know what to do.
Same situation. Had to pull out the Mini to research this. The Apple logo has been on the screen about five min, oh, just went black. Home brought it back and popup is gone. Wonder why this happened to many folks.

The 20 meg message is the download limit for 3G. If you can't get rid of the 'OK' message then you can do a reset by pressing and holding both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.
You should be able to download the apps by switching to wifi on your iPad or downloading them on your computer's iTunes and syncing them or dragging and dropping them over to the iPad device. -

Seems like battery is faulty. Make Genius reservation or set up service and take or send to Apple for resolution under Warranty.

The magnify also does not function properly.
There is an easier work-around. Rather than closing the browser, completely, you just have to get the system to change the focus. You can do this by pressing ALT+TAB (to switch windows). Then, you can turn the magnify option off and just go with the Zoom. (There is a secondary problem, in that the last magnified section of the image stays magnified. Going back to the record and then back into the image will clear that. But at least you don't have to close the entire browser!)

Do Not Disconnect Will Not Go Away When I Plus IPod into Computer
I have had my Ipod 30gb for some time now and i was using it earlier today just fine. Then ITunes froze on me so i say okay i will ctrlaltdelete and re open. Now when i plug my ipod into my computer (using a USB 2 and original cable) it will not recognize my Ipod and being plugged in and the ipod screen read "Do Not Disconnect" and will stay there. (Its been on that screen since i started looking up ways to fix it)I re-installed Itunes and when i plug my Ipod into a friend computer it reads mt Ipod just fine. What can i do to make my ipod stop this non sense so i can continue updaing it with new songs.
P.S. My Ipod works just fine when I unplug it from the USB.If iTunes isn't ejecting the iPod correctly, you can do it through the My Computer menu. Open My Computer, find your iPod, right click, and press 'eject'. It works the same as if you ejected it wil iTuunes. If that dosent work, try the 'safely remove hardware' program in the toolbar that appears when you plug the iPod in.

I have tried all the solutions apple has offered online. I will not reset my phone to factory settings unless it is a last resort. What is Apple doing to fix this? I had my last Iphone last for more than 2 years and I hve had this one less than a year. My Wifi was greyed out and now it's on but won't connect or locate any networks (but if I keep switching it on and off it will freeze on me again). Does Apple have plans to fix this problem because I refuse to purchase a new phone?
Are there any other new solutions to try in fixing the Wifi that doesn't require freezing or heating up the phone or switching to airplane mode and resetting the network settings as well making sure it's up todate or changing the apostrophe in the phone's name? My phone has never been dropped or damaged. Everyone around the world seems to be having this problem and Apple does not seem to be making a move to fix it? I use this phone for everything and 4g will only last so long before I reach my monthly limit. I am currently using a USB keyboard (PC Model) and everytime I wake the computer from sleep the keyboard no longer responds unless I unplug and replug it. The USB mouse I am using works fine with no issues and I have already gone through the prompt to identify the keyboard in the settings. If anyone know of a setting I can use to permenantly enable the keyboard so I no longer have to unplug and replug it that would be appreciated.
Thank you.Your 2010 MBP would be able to handle Yosemite, but I would strongly suggest that you get the current problem sorted out before trying to upgrade to Yosemite. I'd also recommend another backup that isn't created by Time Machine if you are thinking of upgrading. SuperDuper and CarbonCopyCloner can make bootable clones of hard drives. If you clone your existing system to a fresh external drive, you would be able to boot from that drive and recover quickly in the event that your Yosemite upgrade didn't work out. Time Machine backups are not 100% reliable.
It's possible that, if your internal HD is the one that shipped with your MBP in 2010, it may be failing. If it keeps needing repairs, that is probably a sign that it is approaching the end of its useful life.
Have you run Disk Utility's Repair tool on the external drive as well?
I mentioned the hub because some people have reported here that attaching their USB 3 drives through a USB 2 hub solved some disconnection problems. A good-quality powered USB 2 hub won't cost much.
My most recent brush with random disconnections involved a nice new OWC drive enclosure. I used the cable that came with the drive, but the drive kept disconnecting. Using a different cable solved the problem. You wouldn't expect that what appeared to be a high quality cable would be a problem straight out of the box, but it was. -
My sister gave me her iphone 4s for my son. It needed a new battery so, I bought one and replaced it. after doing so, it will not power up. I can only see the apple on the screen and when left for a few minutes.... 10 lines of numbers and codes show up at the top of the screen. Did I ruin the iphone by replacing the battery? Was a simple switch so I don't understand what is going on. Have never had one of these before.

when i open my pages app a loading bar appears and cannot be removed. i have waited two and a half hors for whatever it is to load and i finally just had to force the program to close through the activity monitor. But this problem persists... every time i open the app the loading bar haunts me. i can still edit the document but the loading bar is still "layered" in front of the open app. my final question is, how do i get rid of this loading bar and what is it for?

It sounds as though Pages is trying to resume editing a bad document, or a very large one. Quit Pages, Force Quit if necessary, and then start it up again while holding down the Shift key to prevent reopening formerly open documents.
