Try this.
Check your username and password in the outgoing mail server setting. Fill it in even of it says that it's optional.
Settings>Mail, Contacts, Calendars>choose the email account>account name, tap on SMTP (under the 'Outgoing Mail Server' heading) and then tap on your Primary Server and try entering your email username and password and see if that works for you.

Apple does not fix iPhones, they replace them if covered by warranty. That means you'll be getting a refurbished unit.

Try this first - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. (This is equivalent to rebooting your computer.)
Or this - Delete the account in Mail and then set it up again. Settings->Mail, Contacts, Calendars -> Accounts Tap on the Account, then on the red button that says Remove Account.

That's a country code. Are you sending it to someone outside of the US or who is using a foreign carrier? Their carrier is prefixing the phone number with the country code for your phone number.

I had been asked by ICANN some days ago to do something but I thought it was a scam so ignored it. Most other users I have spoken to have never heard of ICANN or been asked to 'register' with them or whatever. Anyway, post writing to you I have now 'registered' with them . Try just choosing yes when it says that. And yes if you get it a second time. Lots of mail providers don't use SSL.

It means that one of your messages has been unable to send. Tap on it and try resending when it goes the mark should go away

You have to use File Sharing with iTunes in order to send the file to your computer. This kb article does not mention the ePub format, but the process works exactly the same way, whether you export as Pages, Word, PDF or ePub files.
