I set up my new account but when I went to purchase from App Store an old address and billing info is there
I set up an account with my new iPad and then got an ap thru the apple store. But when I went thru the apple store to get Facebook and old address and credit card number came up? How do I change that?
Sign out of old account and sign in to new
Settings>iTunes and App Store>Apple ID

You can't. Apps and really all content purchased/downloaded through one Apple ID is forever tied to that Apple ID. In the case of Apps they will always request that Apple ID to update as they are licensed to that Apple ID.
In reality, the Apps were licensed to that Apple ID by the developer. And cannot simply be given away to you for you to use.
He should have wiped the iPod clean so you could set it up for your use without any of his accounts or purchased content as you are not really licensed to any of those Apps.

You can check the purchase history on your account via the Store > View Account menu option on your computer's iTunes, though I'm not sure if that shows auto-renewing subscriptions. When I try to install Mavericks from the App Store, the timer moves and then nothing happens. When I first attempted to download Mavericks onto my 2009 15" macpro the program started to download and then seemingly froze up- my partners started after mine and then finished on her 2010 13" macpro... I have gone back several times to the store, restarted my system and am getting nothing... Perhaps Ill try again tomorrow?
If you have an iPod with iOS 3.1.3 then it is due to an Apple problem.

Changing the rescue email address requires supplying two of the answers. They wouldn't be security questions if they could be bypassed without Apple verifying your identity.

Hi maggieanntb, your sister's Apple ID came up because an app(s) was downloaded using her account. To prevent that from happening, you would have to delete the app(s) that were downloaded on her's, and re-download them using your own Apple ID.

My iphone does not connect to my email provider and fetch my email. I have been getting emall ok previously, this occurred when I changed my password on my email account. I have "set up a new account" but get the message "server is unavailable". I have tried several things but to no avail. Does anyone have the solution?
ThanksDid you ever fix this problem? The same thing happened when I just changed my kids passwords and now can't access their mail on their iPods or my iPad but I use the same email provider and mine is fine however I did not change my password. If you fixed it how did you?

I'm trying to set up a sync account but when I get to the window with the "Create a new account" and "Connect" nothing happens when I push either of the buttons.
By the way, this is in the brand new Firefox 4, not an extension.

II've just created a new apple Id & account but when I try to download an app the box that appears on your I pad defaults back to my old apple id to which I had to close down as this was a mail address that got hacked.
how do I change this to show my new account? I presumed that once new id had been created then this should of updated automatically.Good luck. It took me weeks to fix this when I had to do it. Your old ID branches out in lots of places. You may have to delete app and get them again, at least that is what Apple told me. Plus, all of your settings on your iPad that required any ID, will have to be changed. My old ID kept showing up in different places for weeks. Changing it on Apple.com is just the beginning.

Guys i have a problem, I used to download apps from one of my friends apple id, now i created my new account, but when i was about to update my apps its asks for my friends id and password. now how could i update my old apps from my new apple id?

No. purchases are forever tied to the apple ID used to buy them. Delete them and buy your own copies. -
I have a credit card with my account first change was a new account, but when you bought any new product for my account is rejection, noting that the credit card was used to my previous account was changed to none

- To change ID go to Settings>Store and sign out and sign in with the one you want. If you iPod has iOS 5 you may have to also go to Settings>iCloud and sign into the second account.
- Apps are locked to the account that purchased them.
- To update apps you have to sign into the account that purchased the apps. If you have apps that need updating purchased from more than one account you have to update them one at a time until the remaining apps were purchased from one account. -
I reset network settings on my iPhone. However now it looks as if my iPhone and iPad are no longer linked. Check Settings > Messages > Send & Receive on both your iPhone and your iPad to make sure that the following are all true:
(1) you have selected the same Apple ID on both devices,
(2) you have the same entries checked under "You can be reached by iMessage at:" on both devices,
(3) you have the same entry checked under "Start new conversations from:" on both devices,
and
(4) that the entry checked in #3 is one of those checked in #2 on both devices.
When you say it has affected your iCloud account, what effect has it had?
