I started downloading a song from iTunes and then stopped it in the middle of the download cause it froze, but when I tried to redownload it, iTunes said the song was already downloaded. But it does not show up in my music library on my phone. Help?

I bought a song on iTunes and it started downloading but then about half way through it seemed to stop downloading so I pressed the square stop button in he middle of the downloading circle so that I could try and restart the download. But when I went back to iTunes, instead of having the cloud and the arrow to let me download the song from the cloud next to it, it said "Play" as if I had already downloaded the song. So I went back to my music library to try and find the song but it's not there and iTunes isn't letting me download it cause it says I already have it. Please help.

Itunes 11 appears to download my CD but it does not show up in my music?

I insert my own CD. itunes goes through the importing process on each track, but when it is done, the new tracks do not show up in Music or Recently added. Where is it? I do not have itunes Match. Any ideas? I import my own CD's like this all the time.

I had the same issue and it seems to me, that the problem is the Apple cloud. The cloud symbol next to my music library wash showing an update after I imported a new CD. And only after this was done (which took a loooong time over my slow DSL line), the CD was visible.
Although I do not use iTunes Match it looks as if Apple is transferring my music library data to the cloud.

Unfortunately I have to if I download it on my computer. I have rented itunes movies before directly using the Apple TV and it worked just fine and I could stay in the living room. Without clicking that icon on my computer, there was no way to watch it.

If that does not force the content to download, contact iTunes Support.

It might not be compatible with the iPad or the iOS version you're running on your iPad (you can check the app store to find out). You also have to have the same Apple ID in Settings>iTunes & App Stores and have Apps turn to On under Automatic Downloads.

To my knowledge, I've only seen this for imessage only and not SMS.
The other users would need to have send read receipts enabled on their phone.

I tried "Copy" and paste but it doesn't work. I tried "Share" with Airdrop and iChat, but the file is inaccessible. When i try to rename the file, it says the filename is too long.
When I try to open it, it says the alias is not good, and asks if I want to fix the alias. I'm afraid to do that and lose all access to this document.
Right now, it feels like a ghost document - it is on the computer intact, but it is in an undisclosed location and inaccessible.

I was able to resolve this by repairing permissions, even though no permissions error was listed specifically for that file.
I could also have recovered it through Time Machine, but I'm interested in knowing how not to have this happen again!
I was afraid of rebooting and possibly losing track even of the ghost.
I did not try EasyFind - I'll keep that in mind next time.

fingers crossed, it appears they are working the bugs out of this update....i was able to post a pic to my newsfeeds/time line this morning....first the picture went into the ios album but within a minute, it appeared on my timeline! im glad ...

Sometimes Firefox will not open, telling me, it is already running. It does not show in the task manager and the only solution is to reboot.

Firefox is running. I close the program. I try to reopen it. I get an error message: Firefox is already running. It does not show in the task manager, nor anywhere else. I can not close the old version, nor start a new one. I have to reboot.
