I still don't have Froyo on my Incredible!
I have yet to receive an OTA update to Froyo on my Incredible. My husband's phone updated the first weekend it was out. I tried to do a manual update, but I was missing an update that was released in May to 2.1. It seems that my phone just isn't receiving the OTA updates.

I have called tech support several times, and gone into my local Verizon store 3 times. The only answer I get is to wait., and maybe Gingerbread will install when it comes out. One suggestion was to do a factory reset to my phone and see if that worked. I haven't tried it yet, just because I hate the idea of install all of my apps again.
Does anyone here have any suggestions?

Verizon is sending out a refurbished phone for me today. Finally. I guess they finally believed that my phone wasn't updating correctly. Hopefully the new phone works correctly. (Now I will have to reinstall all my apps again) UGH!
I was a little worried when the first customer service rep I spoke with said that Froyo wasn't available for the Incredible. But she did check and handed me off to a tech that could help.
I love my phone, We have a relationship. I'm almost sad to return it.

- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

I've just purchased a new 2014 15" MacBookPro to replace my much missed 17" MBP. I got the works: OS 10.9.4, 2.8GHz Intel i7, 16GB memory and a 1 TB SSD, but despite the expense, I still don't have a computer that works...
The problem is that every time I try to open any program from Office 2011, I immediately get the following window, for example for Word: "Microsoft Word has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience." This happens each and every time I try to open Word or other Office 2011 component.
Thinking it might be a licensing issue, I purchased and downloaded a new copy of Office 2011 from Amazon and installed it on my new MBP. Same issue once again.
I tried to remove all copies of Office 2011 from the MBP, but the instructions provided by Microsoft required about three page and seventeen steps and the page was somehow corrupted and would not print in its entirety, nor would it e-mail as anything other than a link to the corrupted page. Not trusting my memory, I decided not to try this without adult supervision.
I used Disk Utility to repair Disk Permissions, as described on an existing thread regarding the same problem, but to no avail.
I removed and later replaced the "Microsoft User Data" folder from the Documents folder, but that was no help.
I have copied the short version of the "Microsoft Error Reporting log version: 2.0," below, for those of you with a deeper knowledge of the internal workings, or non-workings of things Mac when crossed with things MS.

I download an app. But doesn't show up on my homepage. I go to download it again from the cloud and all I get is a message saying "you already download this application so you will be able to redownload the app free of charge" I press ok. Still don't have it

That's what I was thinking but my neighbour did the 10.8 and got the 11 so can't understand how she got it and I didn't.
I have been reading about iphoto 11 and there has been a lot of bad press when using with the iphone, ipad etc. Is it, in your opionion, too much hassle just for photo stream?

I just checked your account; you have two subscriptions to Acrobat Pro (one purchased on October 1, and another purchased today). As no serial number is required to use your subscription, you should be able to download and install Acrobat, and then sign in and use it. If you're getting a specific error when you try to install or sign in to Acrobat, please let us know, and we'll get it sorted out.
Ad for you having multiple subscriptions, I would suggest that you Contact Customer Care and ask that you have one canceled/refunded (unless, of course, you need both of them).

I I have updated my iPhone 5 to iOS7 which should allow me to listen to the itunes radio on there. However, I still don't have a radio tab in my music app (even in the 'more' section)? Does anyone know how I can get this?Thank you - I read that whole page but must've missed that bit! Oops!

I hate iTunes. It continues to download HD versions of movies when I tell it not to. The movie I want is 4.4 gigs. I have deleted all my apps and half my songs and still don't have enough space. iTunes is near impossible to navigate.
I have downloaded Oblivion six times and it continues to bring the HD version. I have unchecked the "Download HD when available" but I continue to get a file that is 4.4 gigs large.
I hate iTunes.You purchased the HD version, not the regular version. It will continue to download the version you bought. If you want the SD version you have to shell out for it. Apple doesn't do returns.
Watch your movie. You can always put other stuff back on later, especially music. -

You do not need an add-on to do this, you can get it by changing a hidden preference.

My pictures took up too much space on my phone so I deleted them. But my phone said I still don't have space but I deleted 3,000 pictures.

Do you have sound coming from the audio output port using headphones? If so, when the plug is pulled out, is there a red light?

I tried downloading Premium using the student discount this evening and it said it couldn't verify I was a student. So I logged into SheerID and I received an email that I was finally verified and could sign up. So I did and it said my card was rejected, so I tried again and I said the same thing. I logged on to view my bank account and Spotify withdrew $20 (4 payments) from my account! I then went to view my spotify account and it said my Premium has been suspended even though Spotify took 4 payments!!!! So now I paid for 4 months of Premium and I still don't even have 1 month of it! Did Spotify just take my money or does it just take a while to be submitted? And since they took 4 payments does that mean I get 4 months of it, if I ever get it?

Two days ago I downloaded the web developer tool bar (aus2.mozilla.com). I tried to use it but gave up. I deleted the tool bar.
I don't have any images anymore. I use Google.com as my home page (default) and the large GOOGLE isn't there anymore. I've also noticed some of the sites I use don't have the continue or next or enter keys anymore. It seems the only thing I have now is the text.Are you sure you are looking at the Google page?? In Firefox 4.0 the default homepage / Start Page in Firefox was changed to '''about:home''' which looks a lot like the former www.google.com/firefox homepage.
