I suddenly have 2 people i never met and don't know showing up as 'shared' on my computer. this may have happened when i visited the genius bar with wifi but i can't seem to delete these 2 strangers.

I visited the genius bar at my mac store two weeks ago and now I notice two people I don't know are showing up as SHARED on my computer. This is really disturbing to me as I don't know if these people have access to my computer. Could this have happened because of the WIFI at the computer store? There are so many people there at once could it be this accidentally happened? AND HOW DO I GET RID OF THESE SHARED PEOPLE? I've tried to find a way to delete them but I can't find anything that allows that. Also can't 'drag' them to the trash. PLEASE HELP. Thanks.

They don't have any access to your computer. They were picked up on your Wi-Fi. If they are not currently being detected, then hold down the COMMAND key and drag the entries out of the sidebar.

This has nothing to do with the Find my iPhone app being installed on the phone, but you do have to have Find my iPhone activated in the iCloud settings on the phone.

You can view the purchase history on your account : if you log into your account on your computer's iTunes via the Store > View Account menu option, you should then see a Purchase History section with a 'see all' link to the right of it. Click on that and you should then see a list of your purchases (the most recent is above the list).

Oh no, Robinbird18! This is not what we like to hear about your cell phone. It makes it pretty hard to have a conversation with someone when you can't hear them. If you make a phone call out are you able to have a conversation with someone without any issues? How long has this been going on? Have you tried to use the phone on speaker phone to see if that works at all? Please keep us posted. You need to link your iPhone number to Messages - and Facetime if you use it. For Messages go to Settings>Messages>Send and Receive at>You can be reached by iMessage at. If your phone number is showing there, select it as your Contact address. If it doesn't appear in there, take a look at the end of this article for help.

Unfortunately, that drive is long gone, probably back to the mfr. Drives are not returned when they are exchanged. You can go by and ask them, but the chances are slim to none.

Have someone's powermac g4 and don't know what to do. stuck at screen.

Hello. Recently a co-worked of mine gave his Apple powermac g4 to look at. So i said ok, and now I have a Mac from 2001 and no idea what to do with it. The powermac g4 turns on, and i get something on the screen, which is only a finder flashing with a question mark. Like this: finder/question mark/finder/question mark and so on. I have never been on a Mac operating system older than tiger( 10.4 I think). Not sure if this is a simple fix. Is it software related, hardware related? Do i need to reinstall the operating system ,because that is going to be hard because it's a powermac g4(non-intel) and I don't know where you would find older versions on mac operating systems. Please give me your input and suggestions. Is it worth it to mess around with this thing, or just sell it to someone who collects these and actually knows what they are doing? Thanks

Does holding the Option/alt key down at bootup bring up the boot manager?
Tough without the Install disc, but some things to try...
Does it boot to Single User Mode, CMD+s keys at bootup, if so try...
/sbin/fsck -fy
Repeat until it shows no errors fixed.
(Space between fsck AND -fy important).
Resolve startup issues and perform disk maintenance with Disk Utility and fsck...
