I tried to activate an iTunes card on my ipad, and got and error saying it was not activated and to contact tech support.
I tried via iTunes and via the App Store with the same problem each time

While trying to purchase a gift card to send via email, got a message this apple ID not eligible for purchase. I've purchased many times before and this has never happened. Does anyone know why?

when i try to update my apps from itunes on my laptop i keep getting an error saying "we could not complete your itunes store request an unknown error occurred (0x800B0101)." this has been happening for a few weeks ive tried downloading the new version of itunes and checked the firewall settings but it still wont let me upgrade apps??

Normally you would go back to the store from which the card was purchased and get them to handle the problem, but since this was a gift, that's probably not possible. Go here:
iTunes Support
and follow the instructions to report the issue to the iTunes Store. You'll want to include the serial number of the card; see:

Tried updating to iOs 6 on my 4S, now computer pops up error saying , can not restore iPhone due to error. I've tried restarting phone & computer, phone keeps going back to screen with iTunes sign & USB cord.

I purchased an iTunes Card, and I have already an account: I've already used successful an iTunes card some days ago.
But now, when I try to use the code of this new card it says "error -1202" and "try later".
I've tried many times, but unseccessful.

Thank you.It may be due to server stress, after all, it is the holidays and lots of people will be getting Macs, iPads, iPods, and iPhones as well as iTunes gift cards so it may just take a little waiting. Keep trying every day for 5 days, and if it doesn't work after that, contact the retailer you got it from or contact Apple. None of us here have any direct contact with Apple, so we won't be able to tell you an exact solution.

Make sure you're using the correct code. For most iTunes cards, the code is under the scratchoff area on the back of the card. The support article from which you came:

My iphone has lost all data when trying to sync with my computor.
I have an pad with most info on, but not keen to sync with that incase that data gets lost!
I joined icloud but cannot retreive from there as its not accepting my icloud account! Help!
If I sync phone with ipad is it likely to work safely to retrieve info as both are apple devices?.ps when syncing it jumps through steps 1 - 4 real fast, i seem to remeber iphone showing the number of tracks transferring and names, but i see nothing? then it sits on 5 saying "waiting for changes to be applied"

Why am I not able to download the newer verion of iTunes? ......when downloading it is interrupted by"""older version of Bonjour cannot be removed-contact Tech. Supprt Group"" What am I suppost to do?? Can anyone help me with this issue.
(1) Download the Windows Installer CleanUp utility installer file (msicuu2.exe) from the following Major Geeks page (use one of the links under the "DOWNLOAD LOCATIONS" thingy on the Major Geeks page):

(2) Doubleclick the msicuu2.exe file and follow the prompts to install the Windows Installer CleanUp utility. (If you're on a Windows Vista or Windows 7 system and you get a Code 800A0046 error message when doubleclicking the msicuu2.exe file, try instead right-clicking on the msicuu2.exe file and selecting "Run as administrator".)
(3) In your Start menu click All Programs and then click Windows Install Clean Up. The Windows Installer CleanUp utility window appears, listing software that is currently installed on your computer.
(4) In the list of programs that appears in CleanUp, select any Bonjour entries and click "Remove", as per the following screenshot:
(5) Quit out of CleanUp, restart the PC and try another iTunes install. Does it go through properly this time? -
Tried to install Lion on my snow leopard and got an error. Lion was not installed.

Message was edited by: janicefromiselinWhen you do an update via a computer's iTunes the update process will backup the device (a backup doesn't contain the actual apps, just their content/settings), wipe the device, install the update, and then restore the backup - the restore would look to pick up your apps, music, films etc from the iTunes library.
You've tried logging out (tap on your id at the bottom of the Featured tab in the App Store app) and back in and seeing if they then show in the Purchased tab, and you could also check to see if the apps are hidden from Purchased : iTunes Store: Hiding and unhiding purchases.
If an app is no longer in the store then you won't be able to redownload it. You haven't got copies of your apps in your own computer's iTunes library and/or on your backup of your downloads/library ? -
Can't get iTunes to install. When I download it, and go through installation, I get the message, Error 2, windows 2; can't find Apple Application Support, uninstall and reinstall iTunes. When I do that I get the same message again. Thank you for your assistance.
Let's try a standalone Apple Application Support install. It still might not install, but fingers crossed any error messages will give us a better idea of the underlying cause of the issue.
Download and save a copy of the iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64setup.exe) installer file to your hard drive:

Download and install the free trial version of WinRAR:

Right-click the iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64Setup.exe), and select "Extract to iTunesSetup" (or "Extract to iTunes64Setup"). WinRAR will expand the contents of the file into a folder called "iTunesSetup" (or "iTunes64Setup").
Go into the folder and doubleclick the AppleApplicationSupport.msi to do a standalone AAS install.

I'm trying to activate my itunes gift card but it keeps saying invalid code. When I follow the iTunes support it keeps taking me round in circles to the same page. What do I do?
I imagine a ton of people are attempting to activate after the update, and the server is getting overloaded. Simple patience, maybe keep trying, and if possible, try a little later. Think of it as all those people lining up at Apple Stores + about a million more.

IPhoto Library file "grayed out"
