I tried to open Photoshop Elements 11. I got a message that components of the application are missing and that I needed to reinstall Photoshop Elements. I purchased the software by downloading it from Adobe so how can I reinstall it?

Are you launching Pages from an icon in your Dock? Installing the update does not change the Dock icons & it does not remove the older versions. Go to your Applications folder & launch the new Pages from there.

You will, because the credited funds are on your iTunes account, not the application. When you reinstall iTunes just configure it with your old iTunes account and your credits will be there waiting for you.

Sync ith only one computer. When you sync with the second anything acquired from the first computer will be erased. Syncing back with the first computer will erase everything synced from the second computer.
Put all your stuff on one of the computers and sync with only that one.

I've an old file without it's links folder, I was wondering If there was any way to extract low quality images from it to relink them.

@Bernardo – you could export the graphic frame that holds the low res preview to e.g. PNG.
But I would *NOT* re-link them! Place them anew in case someone has geometrically transformed (cropped, rotated, skewed, mirrored) the original ones. Keep in mind that by exporting graphic frames to PNG, fill and stroke properties together with applied effects are exported as well.

Upon opening a sequence some of the footage is missing and replaced

Strange things here.
Been working on a project for a couple of weeks with no problems. Now I go to open it and a few of the files are missing and have the extension on the timeline of MC2 rather than MVI. They also have diagonal lines thru the timeline boxes. A few of them have different footage in place of the original files. I can't seem to figure this out. The files are on the drives. I did look. The other odd thing is the audio for the tracks is still there. Just the video is wacked on these.

Yes everything has been on the drive and the files were there yesterday. I think I found what the MC1 or MC2 is. I did a multicam sequence as well with this other sequence. I believe I copy and pasted from the multicam sequence to my new sequence a few of these files. Hmmm. But how would that expain this. I did go back to my multicam sequence and it is missing the same parts as well but I can go to the original files and drag and drop them back into place just fine so they are on the drive but miss located by Premier project file? I did do an update yesterday from adobe for premier and it knocked my gtx 560ti card out of mercury so I had to redo the unlock today.

After a reinstall, which had to be done after trying to create more startup disk space after stuff was backed up to an external HD (I hope that makes sense) some applications are missing from the applications folder. For example, Backup used to be there, with the little umbrella icon, and Canoscan used to be there, etc., but now to find them I have to go through Spotlight. I can access them that way, but how can I get their icons back into the applications folder, and why'd they vanish??

My internal Mac HD is 74.4GB. Used 73.3GB. Available 1.79GB.
My external Mufasa HD is 148 GB. Used 92.1 GB. Available 55.9 GB.
In the midst of the horror (See my Question: "Startup Disk almost full. What do I do now?") Apple had me do an Erase and Install. I did indeed accidentally re-transfer all of my date from Mufasa back to Mac HD, but Apple worked with me to remedy much of that, though I couldn't repeat the myriad steps to accomplish that to you! I'm not even sure myself! I am not sure why I have so little room on Mac HD after all of this.
Would the next step be to start burning data to CD-R or CD-RW disks? I'm not sure. I seem to need much of what I've saved, though I've deleted some stuff, of course. I have never burned a CD before. Is there a brand of CD that you recommend to do this? Any advice would be appreciated.
