What is the error message?
How did you originally install iPhoto? If you installed iPhoto from an iLife installer disk or a system installer disk, that came with your Macs, use the updaters on Apple's Software Update page.
Else update from the Updates tab at the App Store.

I'm trying to silently upgrade my environment to FF 7. I've gotten the silent install working great, it puts in my Proxy Server info, reassigns the home page and all that. Do you have other virtualization or security software that might protect .ini and possibly other files in the Firefox program folder (C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\) and prevent Firefox from updating them properly?
You need to do a clean reinstall.
Download a fresh Firefox copy and save the file to the desktop.

* Uninstall your current Firefox version.
* Do not remove personal data when you uninstall the current version or you lose your bookmarks and other data in the profile folder.
Remove the Firefox program folder before installing that newly downloaded copy of the Firefox installer.
* It is important to delete the Firefox program folder to remove all the files and make sure that there are no problems with files that were leftover after uninstalling.
Your bookmarks and other profile data are stored elsewhere in the Firefox Profile Folder and won't be affected by a reinstall, but make sure that you do not select to remove personal data if you uninstall Firefox.

I Updated to 8.0 and now firefox will not open and I receive an Error message stating that 7.0.1 is not compatible with Min version 8.0 and max version 8.0. What can I do now?

I tried uninstalling 7.0.1 and reinstalling it and still it would not update and problems such as losing my bookmarks, and it having different tool bars and add ons each time I opened it. I lost so many bookmarks and it became so frustrating that I decided to try and upgrade to see if that would overcome the problems. And now I have this problem. When I did a search on my hard drive to see how many firefox components there were I found firefox related files and documents all over the place and wondered if I should just delete anything related to firefox to clean any residual files that might be causing problems and then start a clean download, but I didn't want to delete files in windows and wasn't sure what I should delete and what I should leave. Can anyone help?? I miss my firefox and wish that I had never upgraded to 7.0.1 .

I am trying to update my iphoto from 8.1.2 to the current version. The iphoto was installed on my computer when I purchased it so I am unable to upgrade from the app store. I have tried installing some upgrades but it tells me that I need Version 9.0.1 which I can not find the update for that version. I have just installed maverick and everything is working great. You may need to buy the newest version from the App Store. If you cannot update via the App Store then you are using the version from a DVD. Updates for that can be downloaded from support.apple.com/downloads/.

if i clear the book so that it is all blanks and then try to load in the pictures i have it loses the chronology of the pictures that i had established in the album.
is there a way to import photos into an ibook template and keep the original order of the photos without having to do them one at a time?
also, is there a way to insert a photo rather than just dragging it? i have tried the cut and paste funciton but it doesn't seem to work, the target site doesn't seem to register with iphoto.

Photos are added to book in chronological order. So if you want to add them to a book in the order you have placed them manually in an album do the following:
1 - select all the photos in the album.
2 - use the Photos ➙ Batch Change ➙ Date menu option as shown here. Select any date and add 1 minute between photos.
3 - select just one photo from the album and create a book from it.
4 - in the book click on the Options button ➙ Book Settings button and make sure the checkbox for Auto-layout pages is unchecked.
5 - drag the album with your book photos onto the book icon and they will be imported into the Photos tray of the book in your pre-determined order but not into the pages themselves.

I am not at that computer now, but I did check via windows update & with the check updates menu choice in the itunes program - neither indicated a newer version of itunes is available. (it is a vista computer).
The itunes software on the computer displays my ipod & the current ios (4.3.2), and indicates a newer ios is available (6.1.3). When I choose "update", I am taken to Windows Exploer and prompted to choose a file to open. it is as if the "update" button has the incorrect code attached to it.
The ipod is working, but there are several app I would like to install, but I can't with the current ooperating system.

Connect the iPad to iTunes, and do the update with iTunes.
The 4.1.2 ipsw file will not work, no longer supported.
The incremental update directly on the iPad does not work either, unless you are already on iOS 5.
Let iTunes do the job, you already lost too much time by doing it yourself.
