  • New logic board and now i-tunes music store and i-disk not able to connect

    Hi,
My poor MBP died a few weeks ago - the Logic board went and took the Apple RAM with it (the Crucial one stayed fine!). As it's only six months old it has been fixed under warranty. However....
I've just tried to play some purchased music from i-tunes. It says no. It's also unable to connect to the store and attempts to connect or sign-in are refused. (An unknown error 11333). I trashed the old one, preferences and all and installed the lasted 7.4 but the same problem.
I-disk in System Preferences is also refusing to accept my password and connect even though I can go to it it via Go in Finder.
When I type in my password in System Prefences it says "Keychain not found: Keychain "login" cannot be found to store '******'"
I can see something of a pattern here but have no idea how to fix this.
    Any help appreciated.

Open the Keychain Access in the /Applications/Utilities/ folder and create a new keychain, giving it the name login.

Can you log into your iTunes music account and view your purchase history?

  • Issues regarding the music store

I am so frustrated with I-tunes!!
I can open the program fine and I can play songs but I cannot easily download tunes or podcasts or navigate the store. Sometimes it will work intermittently for a short period and then it seems to not want to load at all.
I am gettting no error messages and the bar at the top says accessing music store but gets no further. I have downloaded the odd tune but it takes so long - not at all the usual speed. All my other programmes work and the Internet is fine so whats up???
Does anyone know whats going on in the UK. It seems to only have been since Friday.

Further to my original problem and the responses so far - Yes I am connected to the internet and I have had no problems or issues previously. No new updates have been put in place and I have tried the firewall too.
I am finding by experimenting that the past two mornings at about 7.30 -7.45 UK time that i-tunes seems to work perfectly - quick access and decent download speeds, but as soon as I try later in the day once I get in from work during the evening the problem returns. It is as if when more people are on the internet or i-tunes it causes a problem, although only on the i-tunes music store and nowhere else.

  • Music store is blank after i downloaded ios7 on my phone 5

I downloaded ios 7 and ios 7.2 and the i tunes music store displays a white screen even when I navigate to movies, tv or music... any suggestions to correct this issue?

    Hey jen_dill,
First, try force closing the store app, which you can find out how to do here:
iOS: Force an app to close
    http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5137
And if that doesn't work, I would reset the device:
    Resetting your device
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button together for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
via: iPhone, iPad, iPod touch: Turning off and on (restarting) and resetting
    http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1430
And if that doesn't resolve the issue then I would backup the device to iTunes and restore it. Just be cautious and back up first, since restoring deletes all content and settings:

  • Music Store Browse Music Function appears to re-direct to my library index

I typed "Sting" under music search, figuring that if any of "Stings" music was available in the i-Tunes music store, it would be displayed.. Wrong
I was directed to what appeared to be my own library index of windows at the top asking for "GENRE" information.
I do not remember this ever happening. I may have recentlty updated to the newest itunes version.
Any help would be appreciated, greatly.

    Thanks Martin,
I did check that first. It's not the fact that I'm not accessing the music store library, the problem is that it appears that the only way that I can search for music is by starting with "Selecting Genre" first. I click on "Anime" & see that there are 5 selections in the store library (not in my library). When I type in an Artist Name or Song Name, I would expect to see the album with track listings or the song name with the different Artists that have performed that song. Seems logical doesn't it??
This was also happening with a friends computer. Did iTunes Music Store just recently change everything?!? Or is it my system? Inquiring minds need to know.

  • I have used I tunes to download music with a paid I tunes card. I can no longer open the music store to download my music.  When I do open the music store it fades in and out, preventing me from downloading music.

I can nolonge download music from I tunes, because the music store page fades in and out and will not remain permanent to allow me to download music with a pre-paid I tunes card.
Also, why is it you can only download music to an I-pod from one primary computer.  Is there a method that will allow me to download music from a variety of computers.

it only happens for previous purchases - if you have a computer you can try to download your purchase history there and then just sync them to your device - http://support.apple.com/kb/ht2519 - http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1386.

  • Accesing music store crashes i-tunes

whenever I try to access music store it begins to connect but i-tunes closes before it reaches store. I upgraded to 6.0 today and it worked with previous version.
    Any help would be great

The "missing file" error happens if the file is no longer where iTunes expects to find it. Possible causes are that you or some third party tool has moved, renamed or deleted the file, or that the drive it lives on has had a change of drive letter. It is also possible that iTunes has changed from expecting the files to be in the pre-iTunes 9 layout to post-iTunes 9 layout, or vice-versa, and so is looking in slightly the wrong place.
Select a track with an exclamation mark, use Ctrl-I to get info, then cancel when asked to try to locate the track. Look on the summary tab for the location that iTunes thinks the file should be. Now take a look around your hard drive(s). Hopefully you can locate the track in question. If a section of your library has simply been moved, or a drive letter has changed, it should be possible to reverse the actions.
If another application like Windows Media Player has moved/renamed the files then the chances are that subtle differences in naming strategies will make it hard to restore the media to the precise path that iTunes is expecting. In such cases, as long as the missing files can be found somewhere, you should be able to use my FindTracks script to reconnect them to iTunes. See this post for an explanation of how it works.
If you have to resort to trying to pull back the library from your iPod see Recover your iTunes library from your iPod or iOS device.

  • When i tunes music and movies available on pakistani store

i brought my iphone 5 in singapore and endorse my phone and accoubt adress over thier now I am in pakistan and after update to ios 7 register my addess os pakistan but can not open i tunes music and movies section whae to do now ?

Music, movies and other content in the iTunes Store will come to other countries when Apple can work out all the multitude of licensing, copyright and royalty issues with all the various entities that hold the distribution rights in your country, along with any legal and infrastructure issues that might arise. When or indeed if that will happen, no one outside of Apple can say, if even they know, and Apple won't speak to the subject until they're ready to officially announce.
Sorry, but we'll all just have to wait and see what happens.

  • Music store only plays 5 secs of a tune.

Anyone having a problem where the music store will only let you preview 5 seconds of the track????
I had 30 secs then for some reason it only plays 5sec, i have upgraded to the newest version and its still the same..
    Cheers
    Phil

    Matthew:
Try deleting your iTunes preference files (com.apple.itunesxxx.plist, in your user's Library -> Preference folder) and see if that helps.
Welcome to Apple, and come back if that doesn't help.
EDIT: Whoops - you are in the wrong forum. You need to repost in the iTunes for Windows discussion forum.

  • Want to download tunes from Music Store without upgrading to iTunes 7

I'd like to continue purchasing music from Music Store WITHOUT upgrading to iTunes 7, which my current version of iTunes instructs me to do before I can continue purchasing music.
Is there a way around this? In my view, if I want to purchase music from Music Store, I should be able to do so regardless of my current version of iTunes.
    Regards,
    Abi

no one you will not get a reply and if you do you will just be told to upgrade to the latest version
you may use the feedback forms on the support page
you HAVE to update because the itunes music store is no longer compatible with old versions they are now obsolite
either upgrade to 6.05 using the link i posted above or upgrade to version 7 from the itunes download page
either that or stop using itunes to buy music

  • Can't gift tunes to someone registered with Music store UK?

    Hi there,
When I try to gift a song to someone who is registered to iTunes UK it will not let them use my password to access the song... is that normal?
Also, I have noticed that my account is not valid on international Music Store sites - do I have to create new accounts to purchase from another country if my home country is Australia?
    Thanks
    Bree

Sorry but you can't gift music cross countries - The recipient needs (to create) an account in that country where the gift comes from.
To access a certain country's iTMS you need:
    * either a CC with a billing address in that country
    * or an address in that country + a gift(voucher)/prepaid card issued in that country.

Problems connecting to the iTunes Music Store usually stem from issues with the Windows firewall, a privacy filter (such as Mcafee) or a download accelerator. Start here:

for some basic tips to start isolating the cause of the problem. Your ISP (or your network administrators if you're on a company network) may have also changed something that is now blocking access.

  • '500 Internal Server Error' when trying to connect to Music Store

Does ANYBODY at Apple CARE that I've been writing posts for 2 WEEKS trying to get an answer to the reason why I can't connect to the Music Store? This is absurd!
Since upgrading to iTunes 6.0.3 (and now 6.0.5), I get a 'Music Store termporarily unavailable' message. I have the same PC, OS, and ISP that I've used to buy hundreds of dollars worth of your music - but since upgrading - I'm dead in the water. Norton is set to PERMIT i-tunes - but I get the same problem with Norton turned OFF.
When trying to connect to the Music Store via the following URL: phobos.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/storeFront
as suggested in other posts, I get a "Error 500 Internal Server Error" - which according to my ISP and Microsoft is on APPLE'S Server - not my end.

Check whether your DBControl or ASControl service is still running or crashed. EM is not able to connect to the Management Server.
For instance in Windows, you may see that the Servise is not started. Then check for error logs in $ORACLE_HOME/sysman/logs for any related error messages in the log files

  • HT5085 I have found that at least 3 music videos that I had previously purchased are not available in my I-tunes music video list.  I paid for them over a year ago, why are they not accessible, and why did they just disappear from my lists?

I have found that at least 3 music videos that I had previously purchased are not available in my I-tunes music video list.  I paid for them over a year ago, why are they not accessible, and why did they just disappear from my lists?

Have you deleted anything from your iTunes library ? Have you checked to see if they are still on your computer, but not listed in your iTunes library ?
If not then do they show in the Purchased link under Quicklinks on the right-hand side of the iTunes store homepage for redownloading ? If they don't show there and others do and they are still in your country's store, then check to see if they are hidden : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4919
If they are no longer in your store for redownloading (or you aren't in a country where music videos can be redownloaded) then you will need to copy them back from your backup of your library/downloads.
