I updated my phone earlier and somehow hanged my missus settings so she now has to use my email and passwords on her phone, i was using i tunes. any idea how to get her settings back cheers
Depending upon what country that you are in (music can't be re-downloaded in all countries) then see if you can redownload your past music purchases (those that are still in the store) via the Purchased link under Quick Links on the right-hand side of the iTunes store home page on your computer's iTunes : re-downloading.
If you are not in a country where music can currently be re-downloaded, then have you not got it on your computer and/or on a backup ? If not then you can try contacting iTunes support and see if they will grant you a re-download : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page

if you see the option to restore in itunes, click it. Your phone will give you the option to restore as new, or restore from backup.

The above article walks you through it, and has pictures. As for your contacts, if you had them saved to Outlook (windows contacts?) you can follow this other article for getting them back. I know it says ipod, but it will work the same.

If you deleted them from both PhotoStream and the camera roll, and you don't otherwise have them backed up, they're gone.

Firefox has remberd a password to a website ... chessatwork and I get loged in to my main page and when I click on any link it takes me right back to my log in page, where it has it stored.... password and user name,,, whats up and how do I turn that off? chessatwork has ran great for me for many yrs, then one day I down loaded firefox and went to play chess on this site chessatwork.com, well the window popped up asking to remember the log in and pass word and so I said ok, and it did, but now when I click log in and I go to my main page (home) and click on any link, say to play game I return right back to log in

Since installing Ios7 280 music tunes out of a total of 360 will now only play when I'm within range of WiFi. The remainder now appear with the stupid Icloud logo beside them. How can I get them back on my Iphone 4s and scrap this stupid icloud that I did not want or ask for in the first place. Why can't rotten apple ask if you want the dam icloud rather than just stealing everything without permission and then you can only have access to it through wifi.

What I've did is I turned off iTunes Match on my iPhone, then turned in on again. Now in my iTunes library on my mac I can get the duplicates to be matched or uploaded to iCloud with a right-click, add to iCloud. iTunes Match starts to check the songs and everything is done correctly. Pretty nice! -
I just got an iphone and am trying to connect it to my itunes account. Getting the message " This iphone cannot be used because the Apple Mobile Device service is not started. How do I start it? Have already been back to the store with it and no change.

I keep getting the following message on my phone "Sorry! The application Email (processcom.andriod.email) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again" and there is a force shutdown button, which I push but keep getting the message. Any ideas how to make it go away so I can get my emails?
Have you installed any applications recently? A task killer maybe? You can try rebooting the phone and see if that helps.

Make sure there's enough free space on the startup disk.
Right or control click the MacintoshHD icon on your Desktop.
Click Get Info. In the Get Info window you will see Capacity and Available.
Make sure there's a minimum of 15% free disk space.
If there's sufficient disk space, the startup disk may need repairing.
Launch Disk Utility located in /Applications/Utilities
Select the startup disk on the left then select the First Aid tab.
Click Verify Disk (not Verify Disk Permissions)
You will need your install disc if the startup disk needs repairing.

I use my sisters iTunes to sync only music onto my phone. I have my own apple ID and have it set up in my settings but when there's an update to be done, my sisters apple ID appears and I can't change it. Any ideas?
You may have inadvertently synced an app to your phone that was purchased with her ID. That would trigger a prompt for her ID password when updating. If that's the case, you would need to delete it from your phone.

Tried to install both Firefox 5.0 and 5.0.1, and received the same error message that a file ending in .dylib was in use. I cannot locate that file, and Finder does not recognize it.
I have a Power PC Mac with OS 10.5.8 and Firefox 3.6.28, the latest versions supported on my machine, and all of my plug-ins are the latest versions available for that browser version. I too get the warning message all the time and it is very annoying. I have never had any "security" problems, and I don't go along with this imperative to always be upgrading equipment. Don't these corporate geeks understand that we're in a global economic contraction and a lot of us are unemployed/underemployed? They want us to be good consumers and "switch to a newer computer" but I can't afford that. Like, if I can't fix my old car, I won't be able to drive. - If you previously turned on FIndMyiPod and wifi is on and connected go to iCloud: Find My iPhone, sign in and go to FIndMyiPhone. If the iPod has been restored it will never show up.
- You can also wipe/erase the iPod and have to iPod play a sound via iCloud.
- Change the passwords for all accounts used on the iPod and report to police
- There is no way to prevent someone from restoring the iPod (it erases it) using it.

How do you get the UDID number from your ipod if you don't have the ipod anymore. The apple store took it because it wasn't working so I can't plug it in to get the number. Some of my apps are associated wtih that number and I can't move them to my new Ipad without that number. Any ideas?
Hi KT. I restored my information back to November 10th and the one app that I need the info on is still empty like I just downloaded it. Do you have another suggestion? I was able to track down my serial number but can't get the UDID without plugging it in and I no longer have it. Suggestions?
