I updated my iPad 2 OS to iOS 6.0..after that I am unable to download or update anything from the App Store. The MSG I get is "id not valid for US store. Go to Indian store for purchase"..never faced this problem earlier before the update to OS 6..help!!

"I understand that you can't update your apps using your iPad.
Apple is currently working toward a resolution for the issue you have reported. You will receive an email after the matter has been investigated and further information is available.

Most likely you have Office 2004 which are PPC-only applications and will not work in Lion. Upgrade to Office 2011. Other alternatives are:
Apple's iWork suite (Pages, Numbers, and Keynote.)
Open Office (Office 2007-like suite compatible with OS X.)
NeoOffice (similar to Open Office.)
LibreOffice (a new direction for the Open Office suite.)

HT1688 I updated my IPhone 5 to IOS 7 and after that now it freezes when I try to type anything.

I got a new IPhone 5 at the end of July and it worked just fine, but when I updated to IOS 7 now it freezes anytime I type something. I can push the letters on the screen and then about 1 minute later they will display on the screen. I even updated to IOS 7.0.2 hoping this would fix this problem, but it did not.
I doesn't matter if it is a text or in an app on the phone I can't type with the keyboard with out a long dely in the time I type the letters and the time they appear on the screen and then if is misspell or misstype something then I have to wait again to delete it and retype it.
What can I do to fix this problem I have rebooted the phone several times and it continues and I have even HARD booted the phone by holding Home button and top button to lock or power off until it shuts off and then turned it back on and it still does the same thing.
I can't really use my phone to type anything it is very frusterating!!!!!!

I have Sprint and all my friends have other carriers. There's are working perfectly fine. I have an iPhone 5 and since I updated it, it gives me an invalid SIM message. Search,etc.) does not help. Sometimes, opening Safari or maybe Google ( not sure about Google ) and going to a website gets rid of the problem and

With your finger, swipe the open app page upward and the app will close. It's a good idea to regularly close apps when yout using them.
Tap your home button once to bring back your home screen.
App store should operate normally again when you open it.

Movies are not re-downloadable anywhere but in the US at present, so unless you are indeed in the US, you'll need to restore the movies from your backup.

I realize that installing apps is not the problem. Installing another app from the app store is a recommended troubleshooting tip from Apple if all of the third party apps will not open. It resets your iTunes authorization when you install the app because you have to enter your password.
If you didn't install another app try it. Read this support article as well.

Try this as well. Quit all apps, reset the iPad.
Go to the home screen first by tapping the home button. Quit/close open apps by double tapping the home button and the task bar will appear with all of you recent/open apps displayed at the bottom. Tap and hold down on any app icon until it begins to wiggle. Tap the minus sign in the upper left corner to close the apps.
Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.
If that doesn't work - sign out of your account, restart the iPad and then sign in again.
Settings>Store>Apple ID. Tap your ID and sign out. Restart the iPad.
Go back to Settings>Store>Sign in and then see if the apps will launch.

Upgrade to Snow Leopard - it's compatible with the latest version of iTunes, and still supports PowerPC applications.

Snow Leopard is required if you wanted to upgrade to Lion, anyway, which you may want to in the future if the latest version of iTunes no longer supports Snow Leopard.

Trying to update my iPad 2 to iOS 5 but it keeps failing.

I have been trying to update my iPad 2 to iOS 5 but it keeps coming up with "The iPad could not be restored. An unknow error occurred (-1)". I've been trying since Thursday but still no joy. I've tried doing it through two different PCs as well. My iPad just tells me that it needs to connect to iTunes. I updated my iPhone software with out any issues.
I went into my local iStore but they wanted £12.00 just to restore it. I was advised that they would do it for free in an Apple Store so I'm guessing that I'll have to pop into one in London during the week.
Is anyone else having these problems / been able to resolve it?

Third-party security software or router security settings can also cause this issue. To resolve this, followTroubleshooting security software issues.
Downgrading to a previous version of iOS is not supported. If you have installed software to perform unauthorized modifications to your iOS device, that software may have redirected connections to the update server (gs.apple.com) within the Hosts file. Uninstall the unauthorized modification software from the computer.
Edit out the "gs.apple.com" redirect from your hosts file, and then restart the computer for the host file changes to take affect. For steps to edit the Hosts file and allow iTunes to communicate with the update server, see iTunes: Troubleshooting iTunes Store on your computer, iPhone, iPad, or iPod—follow steps under the heading Blocked by configuration (Mac OS X / Windows) > Rebuild network information > The hosts file may also be blocking the iTunes Store. Just (reluctantly) updated my iPad 4 to iOS 7. Several apps are staying in the 'waiting' position. Have lost many and some won't load. My Words with Friends game is 'waiting' to load, yet, the App Store says it's loaded. Any suggestions would be much appreciated. Thank you.
