When I did update to my iPhone (IOS 7.1.2) the phone automatically turn off and then ask my to connect with iTunes I don't know why ? that is a first time always just do the update from phone, I connect the iPhone with iTunes and ask me to do back up but every time the give me error at recover back up, after that I press restore the iPhone, and the my iPhone start as NEW iPhone and all my pictures is gone .... So please do you know any way to recover my pictures ?? last recover on my computer for iTunes same day the problem is happened ......

seems like your phone isn't activated properly. try doing a hard reset (hold power+home until phone restarts).
if you have a CDMA carrier, this might not fix it for you. call the carrier and ask them to reset the activation.

As long as the apps are still available in the store, and you use the same iTunes account as you originally used to buy them, then you should be able to re-download them for free : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2519 . If you download them to your computer's iTunes you could then try restoring to your backup and see if that restores them and their settings/content back to your iPhone - a backup doesn't contain the actual apps, just their content/settings, so for the restore to work fully iTunes needs access to the apps so that it can restore them.

I updated my iphone 4S with iOS 6.1.3 and now I cannot retreive or send my e-mails. We have an Exchange server at work. I still receive the e-mails on all my devices just fine and I can see the subject headings & a small portion of the body of the e-mail, but when I open the e-mails there is no body and it reads, "This message has not been downloaded from the server". Very aggrevating and is not helping my business at ALL!! Same has happened with both iPads we own now.
Delete then add back the exchange acct on each device.

I just updated my iphone 4 to IOS 7.0.4 and it gets stuck backing up on step 2 of 7 and sometimes says step 2 of 4. I've got 2.09 GB free and ive reset it and still wont back up. It also says my phone has never been backed up to the computer, but ive been doing it for 2 years on it. My Ipad 2 also was getting stuck on step 2.

I'm trying to update my iPhone 4s to iOS 7.1.2 and it just froze on the screen with the apple and the loading bar, it won't move and it's been like 45 minutes PLEASE HELP!
iOS updates can take a while, try back in an hour or so. My iPad took half an hour for an incremental update. And that was on a fast home WiFi.

That message usually means you hacked the phone to unlock it.
When you updated your IOS it locked back up to the original phone carrier.
Only the carrier that the phone is locked to is authorized to unlock it.

i have the same problem.and i found out, if my iphone vibrates,there is a new message, but its not shown.
if i restart my iphone after these vibrations, the new messages appear.very strange.

To expand on Rudegar's comment, often, updating a jailbroken or hacked phone will permanently brick the phone.
If your phone was jailbroken or hacked to unlock it, it is now most likely completely useless. -

Now, my iphone 4s does not sound form the speaker and the volume button up and down also does not work.I could hear the sound through the earphone. Also the airplay disapear. Please try going to your settings area of your display. Click on General and go to 'reset all settings'

I updated my iPhone 4 to iOS 7.0.6 and now I cannot use text/phone services. When attempting to access either service from the primary display the screen whites out and freezes up. Settings>Phone allows me to interface with my preference howevver tapping on Settings>Messages (or Settings>Facetime) causes the Settings function to lock up. I have to back out of Settings entirely and restart. This is seriously agrivating.
I would do a full restore in iTunes using your last backup.

Yes. I did the same thing and stupidly forgot to back up my phone to my computer. The 7.0.4 update said "fixes a small Facetime bug" so I assumed, like an idiot, that it was just a tiny nothing update. No problem. Then my phone immediately went into "You have to Restore from Factory Default" mode and all my pictures from the last 3 months are gone forever. *****. Thanks Apple.

ACTIVATING FACETIME AND IMESSAGES
Activating Facetime and Imessages on your phone requires the ability to send SMS messages and depending upon where you are that might be an international SMS. Check with your carrier to see if your plan supports sending of international SMS messages. If you are having trouble activating Facetime or Imessages turn them both off on your device and reset the device (Hold down the Sleep/Wake button and the home button together until the apple logo appears (ignore the ON/OFF slider) then let both buttons go and wait for device to restart (no data will be lost)). Wait for the device to restart and wait a minute and turn Facetime and imessage back on and wait for activation. If that does not fix things read the following articles:
