Go to iTunea>Preferences>Devices and see if there is a backupright at the time you did the update. Then try restoring from that backup. If the apps are in your iTunes library, any app data will be restored to the iPod.
When restoring from an iOS 4 (or later) backup, if the device had a passcode set, iTunes will ask if you want to set a passcode (and remind you that you had protected your device with a passcode). iTunes will not ask you to set a passcode when restoring from iOS 3.x and prior backups.
Therefore, remembe the passcode that you enter this time.
It appears that if you restore from a backup, that backup is not subseqyently overwritten by the next backup.

You can de-authorize individual computers, but only by using those computers. The only other option is to "de-authorize all" from your iTunes account.
1. Open iTunes on a computer
2. From the Store menu, select "View my Account..."
3. Sign in with your Apple ID and password.
4. Under "Computer Authorizations" select "De-authorize All".
5. Authorize each computer you still have, as you may require.
You may only do this once per year.
After you "de-authorize all" your authorized computers, re-authorize each one as required.
If you have de-authorized all computers and need to do it again, but your year has not elapsed, then contact: Apple - Support - iTunes - Contact Us. -
I sync'd it yesterday and today, then when updating it today its restored to factory settings and all apps, photos and texts have gone. looked in the i tunes library and in windows explorer (tells me last sync was 3 months ago!) to no avail. now when i try to restore it on itunes a box appears with there was an interruption with restore then a new box with the message restore error. any help greatly appreciated

There was if you used any of the backup strategies you listed in your first sentence. iTunes functions as the backup software for your iOS device. MobileMe similarly aacts as a backup if you need to restore your phone.
Since you chose to work without a safety net, it would seem you have lost all the contacts. That was a risk level you were comfortable enough with. The important take away here is that all computers need to be backed up. And there is more computer in your iPhone than the computers that flew a space ship to the moon. -

I would remove Reader and repair or reinstall Acrobat.
Having different major versions can cause some users issues. Reader is not necessary if one has Acrobat installed. Even though Adobe has improved the capability of having both Reader and Acrobat with the same major version level there are still user configurations that have problems with this setup. -

My phone is: 313 882-9785If it's a thin 1 pixel wide vertical line it's highly likely it could be caused by a defective LCD.
One quick basic way to check is to note the position of the line. Then go to System Preferences, Displays, and lower the resolution. If ther line moves it's on the video and the logic board or video card if fitted is likely to be defective. If the line stays in the same position it's likely to be an LCD fault. Either way to have it repaired you'll need to visit an Apple store or AASP.
The worst offender for this problem is the Late 2006 17" iMac. FOC replacement of the LCD used to be covered by a quality program, but it's now ended.

Cannot find ANY drivers for my model please help!!!
Hello, i recently had to replace the hard drive for my Toshiba Satellite A200. now the trouble im facing is that i had to use a full clean copy of windows to install on this laptop thinking that the toshiba website will have the drivers that i am looking for. well it turns out they dont... i cannot even find the display adapter driver for this laptop let alone the network driver, mass storage driver or anything really.
So please, here is the info for the laptop and if anyone can point me in the right direction for finding these drivers it would be greatly appreciated.

It doesn't seem to cover your specific issue, but have you tried using a different network (either a different wi-fi network, or switching from wi-fi to cellular or vice-versa if you have a wi-fi+cellular iPad)?
For GMail, iCloud and Yahoo, copies of messages are stored on their respective servers, so you could try deleting the account on your iPad, then re-adding each account one at a time to see if that resolves the issue. -

Apple website says I need Snow Leopard 10.6.8 to upgrade to Snow Lion. I have exactly that. But when I try to purchase Snow Lion on the App Store , I get a message saying 'Snow Lion' cannot be installed on your mac. My mac was born sometime in 2007 I think but if it has 10.6.8 why can I not install Snow lion??
