I updated to itunes 11.3 and now when i open itunes it is not responding
I just updated iTunes to 11.3 and now every time I go to open iTunes its saying that iTunes is not responding and closes. I do not know what to do or how to fix this problem at all. please someone help!

Check out the article below to troubleshoot the issue of iTunes crashing on you upon startup. Start with seeing if you can start up in Safe Mode. If you are still having issues, try to open in Tunes in another user on your computer to see if the behavior still exists. My Windows XP software recently had an automatic update and now when I open iTunes, I receive the message "This copy of iTunes is corrupted or is not installed correctly. Please reinstall iTunes."

Resolution
Follow these steps to resolve the issue:
Check for .dll files
Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\iTunes and C:\Program Files\iTunes and look for .dll files.
If you find QTMovie.DLL, or any other .dll files, move them to the desktop.
Reboot your computer.
Note: Depending on your operating system, you may only have one of the listed paths.
Uninstall and reinstall iTunes
Uninstall iTunes and all of its related components.
Reboot your computer. If you can't uninstall a piece of Apple software, try using the Microsoft Program Install and Uninstall Utility.
Re-download and reinstall iTunes 11.1.4.
When you get to the step to uninstall iTunes, it is important to uninstall iTunes and the related components in the order listed in the link for that step.

I changed itunes options the other day to only synch one playlist and now when I open itunes I can't access my library or any playlists.
I think I fixed this problem a few years ago by literally copying and pasting all my audio content into the iTunes library folder. I can't remember what is called of the top of my head and I don't know if this will still work.

Help...I wanted the other account on my computer (pc) to be able to listen to my itunes library. I followed the instructions from Apple,
(I thought correctly) and when I open itunes on my account all the songs are gone. Its as if I never had an itunes libary. When I go to the other account on the computer and open itunes, there is an older version of the library w/ only some songs but when I click on a song, it says it cannot be located. Which is why I tried to move the library in the first place.What process did you use for moving the library?
I have noticed iTunes on rare occasions loses files. Don't know why. Keep back ups. Before updating a backup run a script such as Dougscript List MIAs so you can make sure you aren't deleting your only copy should one get lost from your main drive.
You might want to note that it is a mistake giving away the CDs. When you no longer posess the CD you relinquish the right to keep a copy of the music. Also, as you are finding, you no longer have a backup source for the music. -
Upgraded to iTunes v7.02 and now unable to open iTunes
I've recently bought a 30GB iPod Video and have had to upgrade to the latest version of iTunes. The download seemed to work OK, but iTunes simply won't open. I've uninstalled, reinstalled several times, but no success. We now have 3 iPods in the family which can no longer connect up to iTunes. I notice lots of similar messages, but no solutions coming out. Grateful for any positive suggestions though
There are several things this could be. The most common in my experience is either a corrupt project file or Final Cut is having problems reading a media file.
If it's the project file I would suggest going through your autosave vault and working your way back in time opening versions.
If it's a media file, the way to check is to move or rename your capture scratch folder and all other media files so that Final Cut doesn't automatically reconnect to them. It's important to include your other media files, I've been snagged by a corrupt .JPG or .PCT file that would prevent me from opening the project at all.
Other suggestions would be to repair permissions and other file maintenance as well as trashing all your Final Cut preference files.

Error 23, 28, 29: These errors may indicate a hardware issue with your device. Follow the steps in this article. Also attempt to restore while connected with the white USB Dock Connector cable that shipped with your device, on a known good computer and network to isolate this issue to the device. The MAC address being missing or the IMEI being the default value, (00 499901 064000 0), can also confirm a hardware issue. Out-of-date or incorrectly configured security software can also cause these errors.

I tried to do the 7.0.4 update on my iphone 5 and now it has the itunes logo stuck on screen and when I plug into itunes it states my phone needs to be restored. I don't want to lose all my stuff.... ideas?

it went through the extracting software stage but then an error message saying that it encountered problems came up and it didn't restore.

I was today invited to upgrade my iTunes when I logged on. Update failed. Every time I now try to open iTunes I get error messages. Second message reads "iTunes was not installed correctly. I too had this problems (Windows 8.1). A few weeks ago after the previous update before this version of itunes, I'd had a problem with the itunes store crashing and at that time I followed instructions to copy QTMovieWin.dll to the itunes folder, which fixed the store crashing.
Today I fixed the problem by:
Delete QTMovieWin.dll from C:\Program Files (x86)\iTunes.
Uninstall ALL Apple Software using Control Panel / Programs and Features. I uninstalled:
iTunes
QuickTime
Apple Mobile Device Support
Apple Application Support
Apple Software Update
Bonjour
Delete the folders:
C:\Program Files (x86)\iTunes
C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Apple
Restart the computer
Reinstall QuickTime
Reinstall iTunes
Everything works GREAT now, including the iTunes store. You will not lose your media files, I got everything back, all my settings, playlists, etc. -

That issue can be caused by an extension that isn't working properly.
