I updated to the new version of iTunes, and now my iPod Touch 4th generation won't turn on. I've reinstalled iTunes numerous times, but my iPod doesn't show up and it's plugged in. PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm so confused. I've been all over the support site and I've uninstalled and reinstalled iTunes at least 3 times. My iPod just has the sign it has when it's turning on, but nothing else is happening. All I was trying to do was download the new software, and now it's completely crashed. Does anyone know why???? Does someone have a solution???? PLEASE HELP!!!!!! D:

More information: The iPod ran out of battery late thursday night and I plugged it in to charge. The charging symbol appeared but within 20 minutes, the ipod had gotten very hot and had gained no charge. It hasn't been dropped and it hasn't gotten wet. It's a year and a half old. I use an otterbox as a case, but this problem began three days ago, despite my having been using the brand of case for over a year. It's super important that I find a way to fix this. Help please?

IPod Touch (4th generation) won't connect to wifi! Please help!
My iPod Touch (4th generation) won't connect to my house wifi that it's always connected to. I tried forgetting the network, and putting the password in again, several times. I've tried restarting my iPod, turning the wifi on & off, and also turning the router off and back on but none of this has helped. After I forgot the network and typed the password back in it just kept saying 'loading' and eventually it stops loading but still doesn't connect. It also shows other peoples wifi's but I haven't tried to connect to theres to see if it works. It just started doing this yesterday at this other place I was at but i just figured it was their wifi because when I got home that night it worked just fine but today it started doing it again at my house and I don't know what to do. Please Help!

Try the following to rule out a software problem:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Power off and then back on your router
.- Reset network settings: Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings
- iOS: Troubleshooting Wi-Fi networks and connections
- Wi-Fi: Unable to connect to an 802.11n Wi-Fi network
- iOS: Recommended settings for Wi-Fi routers and access points
- Restore from backup. See:

- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
If still problem and it does not connect to any networks make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem.

I'm confused, my ipod touch 4th generation won't let me drag my songs from my itunes library to the ipod? So i tried checkmarking the songs I want and I don't know how to sync those? Also, I try to sync apps to my ipod and it says my computer doesn't have the liscense for it?
You should really read the manual.

ipod touch (5th generation) won't sync all selected music in itunes version 12.0.1. Under the summary tab, I've selected "Sync only checked songs and videos." In the music tab, I've selected the various albums and artists I want. I click on "sync," and some albums sync, others do not. Often, only some tracks of the selected albums sync. Additionally, some albums sync that I haven't even selected. My computer's operating system is Windows 8.1. Please help - thank you!
Providing the songs play OK in iTunes on the computer and you do not have any Restrictions set that wold prevent syncing those songs (Settings>General>Restrictions; iTunes purchases only)
Try:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost

- Unsync/delete all music and resync
To delete all music go to Settings>General>Usage>Storage>Music>Tap edit in upper right and then tap the minus sign by All Music

All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.

I've just updated my iPod touch 5th generation to the iOS 8.1.1. (or whatever the newest update is) but once it updated, it now won't turn back on. I've tried plugging it into multiple chargers and computers just in case it wasn't charged, and tired turning it on, but all I get is the apple logo and nothing's happening. What can I do? In the future make sure yo backup before updating. I always backup to both iTunes and iCloud before updating . -

Today I just locked my iPod and it wouldn't unlock again, it doesn't respond at all, it won't turn on. It was almost fully charged, so it's not the battery. I followed the steps from this thread, but I'm still getting the "USBMuxListenerCreate: No Error" message in CMD Prompt. I bought my iPod abroad and even though I do have the warranty, I've been told at the iStore that it's not valid here, so going to the store isn't really an option. Any ideas how to solve this?
Sorry, but without a working home button it is not possible to reset or restore your device. You should visit an Authorized Appel Service Provider or Apple Store to get it serviced. The warranty for an iPod is not limited to the country where it has been bought, check here: one-year limited warranty

IPod touch 4th generation, won't update to 5.0.1
iPod touch 4th gen, just over a year old, I've been trying to update the new software for what seems like months now, and every time it downloads the software and then at the last minute-quite literally, tells me that the network connection has timed out. I've checked the diagnostics test and everything is fine apparently, and my internet has always been fine with everything else. Anyone have any ideas? I have also updated the iTunes to ITunes 10.5
1- Download The Firmware you need for your device from Here : http://www.felixbruns.de/iPod/firmware/
2- After you've dowwnloaded it go to itunes and press Shift while holing Shift button click Update (for windows only i dont know bout the Mac) and select the Firmware you downloaded it in step 1
3- And youre done it will verify the software and then it will update. -
I have spent far too much time on this new Ipod touch. my son has a 1st generation i touch and asked for a 4th generation 64 for his birthday today. Today my iPod touch (3rd gen) fell onto the floor and the screen turned black. It was almost put of battery anyways so I wasn't exactly worried.... But when I tried to turn it back on it wouldn't. IPod Touch 2nd generation won't turn on and won't show up under Devices on my iTunes.
I was trying to restore my iPod touch because it was locking itself and flashing. When I tried to restore it, the iPod turned itself off completely and won't turn back on. I've tried pressing the lock button and the home button at the same time, and I can't do anything from my computer because my iPod isn't showing up under Devices or Computer. If I put it in the USB port it opens iTunes, but isn't showing that it's plugged in. I have used different USB cords, switched USB ports, and tried charging the iPod, but it still won't turn on.
