Like the subject line says - I set up a new account in itunes. go to appleid.apple.com. Click on manage my acct. sign in using the email you provided (even if it is wrong, it is the one you provided, so technically it is your username.) Once you sign in, it should have your details right there, it will say "apple ID and primary email address" and to the irgh of that, it will say edit. choose edit, and provide the correct info.

Upgraded to yosemite from snow leopard and can't finish the upgrading to iPhoto 9.6 I lost my photos.

I upgraded from Snow Leopard to Yosemite When I tried to open iPhoto it asked me to install version 9.6. I did so. Then when I tried to open it said that it needed to upgrade the library data. I left it for 10 hours. Before the bar is full it stops and it freezes and i have to force close it. It has the new icon but does not open or show new or old photos.

leave the phone in rice for >24 hours to see if it will recover
you can check itunes as well to see if there are backups there from the top of the screen hit edit (itunes on mac) > preferences > devices , and see if a backup is listed
also check icloud.com to see if you had any of the information backed up there (only possible if have have a 3gs or higher)
also there are data recovery companies that can recover data even from wrecked hard drives but its not cheap, if your interested in that I would say lookup a company called drivesavers, I believe they are authorized to work on even in warranty iphones

I think those contacts still in iphone database. So you can back up you iphone with itunes to get iphone database off your iphone. Then access the SQLite batabse.

To see if there are any backups of your device on the computer, go to iTunes/Edit/Preferences/Devices.
Moving the mouse over the listed backups will tell you to which device they belong.
If there is no backup of your phone listed, your data is gone.

you should have a look at Adobe's database, to see what's stored/saved about your accounts. Here you will find general infos about your Adobe Account

Itunes content is not included in the backup that itunes makes when syncing.
You should always make sure that you have transferred all of your purchased itunes content to your computer before any update.
If you failed to do this, then you can redownload as expalined in the previous post.

If they were on the iphone at last sync, then you may be able to restore from backup and get them back.
Otherwise, they are gone.

If he Registered his mac in his icloud account and said yes to "Find my mac" than he can go to icloud.com, log-in, and than click find my mac. His mac can then be located.
