thanks for your help. Your hint didn't solve my problem but pointed me in the right direction.
When I wanted to activate my new phone from backup I realized, I didn't knew the password. It was noted on a paper at home. So I activated the phone free cause I couldn't await coming home ... a new toy!
Due to GameCenter I have two apple-ids and unfortunately I took the wrong for the activation.
Back home I've reset the phone and activated it from backup. The iWork apps disappeared and now are linked to the other apple-id.
I was able to re-install the apps from AppStore for free. But I don't think I can transfer the apps to the other id.

If you are running Lion then all drivers are distributed through Software Update. You do not need to install anything, other than to install the printer in System Preferences > Print & Scan. If you already added the printer while it was connected using USB, you might want to delete it and set it up again wirelessly to avoid confusion. Or, give them two distinct names e.g. "Photosmart D110 (USB)" and "Photosmart D110 (wireless)".
All scanning functions are now performed using Preview, but you can also access the scanner through the same Print & Scan preference pane, or with Image Capture.

thx for help !!!!!Which photos? If the missing photos were synced to the iPod then you have to get them from where you got them the first time. Synced photos are not in the backup that iTunes makes.

Option 1
Back Up and try rebuild the library: hold down the command and option (or alt) keys while launching iPhoto. Use the resulting dialogue to rebuild. Choose to Repair Database. If that doesn't help, then try again, this time using Rebuild Database.
If that fails:
Option 2
Download iPhoto Library Manager and use its rebuild function. (In Library Manager it's the FIle -> Rebuild command)
This will create an entirely new library. It will then copy (or try to) your photos and all the associated metadata and versions to this new Library, and arrange it as close as it can to what you had in the damaged Library. It does this based on information it finds in the iPhoto sharing mechanism - but that means that things not shared won't be there, so no slideshows, books or calendars, for instance - but it should get all your events, albums and keywords, faces and places back.
Because this process creates an entirely new library and leaves your old one untouched, it is non-destructive, and if you're not happy with the results you can simply return to your old one.

Thanks, but I checked iCloud and it has none of them.
If it backed up to my laptop, that died and I just got the new computer. The one that's crashed won't even boot, so there's no way to even tell if it was syncing the contacts along with all the phone photos. Literally happened at the same time - it was because I had the new computer that I was finally able to pull the photos off the phone and make room for the upgrade. It had refused to upgrade for lack of space for some time.
I had thought it was set to sync to iCloud but it vanished from BOTH my phone and the cloud. That's why I'm so angry about it. -
What happened to my entire 3000+ songs in my library I used to see when I opened iTunes? I only see the most recently purchased. How do I get them back? I don't have an I phone to play they on, only a droid.

It sounds like the songs have either not yet synced over to the iPhone, or something went wrong when attempting to sync to the iPhone. My recommendation is to uncheck the "Sync Music" checkbox.
Once you have done that, recheck the "Sync Music" checkbox, and apply the changes once more. This will instruct iTunes to completely remove all music from your iPhone, and then copy the files once more. If you have a large amount of music, this initial sync may take a while.

I had to completely reset my computer and re -download the I tunes program. Now none of the music I had before is in my playlist. Where did it all go? How can I get them back?
You can redownload the stuff you bought from the iTunes Store using the Purchased link on the right side of the homepage.

Try this - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. == latest version 3.6.3 downloaded on May 28th - 29th..I had the home page set to "about:blank" when I noticed that the x was missing. I then clicked on "Restore to Default", restarted and then selected "Show a blank page" - Restarted again and this time it worked, except that there is no x when there is only one tab. As soon as a second tab opens, an x suddenly appears on all the tabs. Keep in mind that I also updated the Walnut theme and all other add-ons. Not entirely happy with this niggle, but I can live with it. Version 3.6.3 is faster and that makes up for it.

Plug in your iPhone. Restore it. If it asks you if you want to back it up say no. When the restoring is done, without plugging in your iPhone, you should get an option to restore your iPhone from a back up or a new iPhone option. Restore it from your back up. It has nothing to do with iCloud but I recommend you set up an iCloud account to avoid loosing stuff like your contacts. And it's free.

I've been using Firefox for a while now. You've had a few updates & I've always kept my bookmarks. But on the 18th of April you did any update & I lost all my bookmarks in that update.. I've tried looking for the answer & the way to get them back. But have not found a way. So how do I get my bookmarks back from before the 18th of April of 2015?
